Chapter 3 - "Total Cost"

"Today I am a special patient, so you have to follow me here." said Esther to Jake smiling

"After you finished, I will count all the total costs for today, and made it into your bill." said Jake smiling back to her

After that Esther started to explore this old house, and tried to find something, who knows she might find something from this house.

"This swimming pool is exactly the same as the one in my dream, it's very real." said Esther trembling gripping her hand

"Do you remember anything about this pool?" ask Jake to Esther curious

"Not... Not really, I just remember there was a teenage girl who played with me here" replied Esther to Jake shivering

"Alright, calm down Miss Lu, I know this is a bit difficult, but slowly you can do it." said Jake trying to calm Esther down with her shivering self

"Yes, thank you very much, I'll go check inside, Do you want to come with me?" ask Esther to Jake pointing the house

"No, I'll just wait here, you just go, I'll wait here while analyzing something." said Jake to Esther sat on a lounge chair

Jake sat on there while think about it, but because he was tired from his exercise, he fell asleep. At that time he suddenly woke up, and saw that Esther had brought drinks for him.

"You must have been tired all night without sleeping, this is a coffee for you." said Esther handing her the coffee smiling to him

"You're done, really fast, I feel like I just closed my eyes for a minute." said Jake shocked getting up from the chair

"I told you just a moment, this is coffee for you." said Esther handing him a cup of coffee

"But where do you get the coffee, here is an abandoned house, and the distance to the cafe is quite far." ask Jake to Esther confused holding the coffee from Esther hand

"What are you talking about?" ask Esther looking really confused to Jake holding her coffee

At that time Jake realized that the pool there was filled with clean and clear water, and around the house there were trees that were quite green and beautiful.

"How is that possible, this is a dream, right, who exactly are you, you're not miss Lu." said Jake dropped his coffee on the floor

"I'm..., I'm Esther Lu, what do you mean?" ask Esther to Jake looking at him

"Doctor, doctor, why are you sleeping in broad daylight like this?" ask Esther to Jake while shaking him

"Thank god, it was just a dream!" said Jake shocked getting up from his chair and looked around

"What's wrong, you look like you're very exhausted and scared, did something happens?" ask Esther to Jake confused

"Could it be that this patient doesn't know that she has a twin, or anything about her past at all!" said Jake inner thought

"I don't remember anything, but I only remember something about my past, that I always played with a girl, she always appears in my dreams, but I don't remember what her face looks like." said Esther to Jake walking around the house yard

"It turns out my guess was right, but why did her parents want to keep this a secret from her, did something happen to her family" said Jake inner thought while staring at Esther

"Are you sure we won't get caught if we keep meeting here, like this?" ask a woman, Patricia Yu

"Don't worry, she is always busy like that, she won't possibly know." said Roy to Patricia smiling

"Besides, I married her to take all her wealth, a fool like her just believed that I was for real." said Roy to Patricia laughing

"Oh, you're really smart, you criminal." said Patricia with a playful tone while smiling towards Roy

"I hope we can keep doing this at her, it's so much fun." said Patricia laughing at Roy

Back at the old house, There is the two of them sitting at Jake house and drinking a cup of hot tea.

"Did your parents tell you anything after you woke up from the hospital?" ask Jake to Esther staring at her

"They didn't say anything, especially my father, and my mother was crying and hugging me." said Esther to Jake holding her cup

"At first I thought this dream happened because I was tired, but it turns out this dream had something to do with my past" said Esther to Jake looking at her hot tea

"And actually I'm sorry, you got involved in the search for my memory loss too." said Esther to Jake put the cup on the coffee table

"It's fine, that's my job, helping you." said Jake to Esther gave her an awkward smile

"I will make sure once again whether this is really Ellen Lu's twin, who is my patient before, or she isn't, and did something happen to Ellen Lu?" said Jake inner thought while looking at Esther

But Jake himself was still shocked by what he had experienced earlier.
