Another world another misery

A bright blue sky beamed on me. The birds were chirping and the trees were swaying with the wind. I guess this is where the portal took me? I finally feel like I can rest. A vast large city filled with glass buildings and crowded intersections stood in front of me.

A tall green sign which said “Park for the massacre of Flash” was hanged on a big metal archway. My body froze like a statue. My heart pounded on my chest like it was begging to flutter out of my ribcage. I was gasping for air like I was drowning. My head started to spin around like a merry go round on repeat. The word park sent shivers down my spine. I take a big breath in as I'm about to take a final breath before going underwater. I repeat to myself over and over that I'm in a new world, so hell won’t happen again. I plop down next to the big willow tree. I breathe in and out until my mind is in a dazed state of tranquility.

I don’t remember the last time I’ve ever felt so tranquil. A buzzing bright yellow bee flew past me as it went to pollinate the shining sunflowers. The Lilys gracefully swayed with the wind like a ballerina performer twirling to a serene song. A group of baby birds were chirping as they were impatiently waiting for their mother to feed them their worms. The chitter chatter of the city was music to my ears. HONK! Screeched bright metallic cars as their drivers angrily honked at the slow moving traffic. In the bleak distance I heard the wails of a mysterious maiden in the corner of south street. The maiden cries sound so much like the wails of the people of my world as their faces melted off. My heart drops into a pit of despair. Every noise sounded like their anguishing shrieks. The tranquil feeling I felt drained away from my body as agony creeped into me like I was its prey. Every breath I took felt like I was breathing into a straw. A paralyzing pain crept into my stomach until I was drowning in a fiery pit of agonizing pain. My neck ached with excruciating pain as it felt like someone was digging their sharp bloody nails into my neck. I slowly stood up only to fall on the hard ground. My mind wanted to bolt away from the wails of the young maiden but my legs were stuck in a paralyzed like state. The maidens wails remind me so much of the wails of Ms.Shirley. Ms.shirley was an old lady I cherished with all my heart, I had to watch her die over and over. In my first life before I ever regressed I couldn’t utter more than a faint whisper. Ms.Shirley was the town librarian. To be honest I never was one for books. When the bell rang instead of dashing home I would dash to the library. I found glee in my chats with Ms.Shirley. For the first time in my tiny miserable life I felt truly respected. The warm cozy feeling I felt in elementary school washed away with a treacherous storm of misery. The people who lightened up my misery filled world soon became people I used to know.

Life after life I started to grow more and more timid.

In my 7th life I begged my mom to help me, I begged over and over like my life depended on it. I could never forget the repulsed gaze on her face like she saw a vile creepy cockroach crawling on the icy cold wood floor. She walked away not even sparing a gaze at her youngest daughter.

When I was younger I never understood why I never got a platter of sweet candy-like love. Instead I would always get an icy cold dish of misery that would follow me around like I was its owner. In my 12th life I realized that my fate is to forever suffer. I realized that every misery that happened to me is my fault and I deserve every crumb of suffering. Guilt filled me up like a volcano. Monster. I said it over and over until it was plastered on my brain. I sat in disbelief that I murdered my parents. It felt as if the world was ending. It felt like everyone detested me with all their guts. “Are you okay?”Calmly asked a masculine voice. My heart felt as if someone was squeezing my heart like an orange. “Everything is going to be okay.” This strange person's warm voice set my mind at ease like a blank canvas.

Their warm muscular soft arms brushed my rosy cheeks trying to get rid of my tears. “Can I hug you?” “Y-yes.” I whispered. Their gray soft hoodie brushed against my black silky tight dress. Their muscular soft milk-like arms gently clenched onto my slim waist. A warm fuzzy-like feeling washed over me. When was the last time someone hugged me? When was the last time I've felt genuine support? Those were questions with one simple answer. Never. I’ve never felt the warmth I so deeply desired.Salty tears bolted my soft cheeks.BOOM!BAM!A huge fiery scorching nuclear explosion swallows the city whole. The glass tall buildings shattered like a fragile vase. Buildings fell to their utter demise crushing the cars and the innocent people who were frantically running around. My heart shuddered.

I looked up at the anonymous man who comforted me. His aqua-like twinkling eyes lost its sparkle. His soft milky hands let go of my waist as he fell on the grass. People shrieked as they painfully threw up red dark blood which had the stench of death. I stood in a paralyzed state. This is all my fault. I did this. I came to this world, it's my fault. I must have done something to cause this nightmare. Salty tears dashed down my cheeks. I kneeled down on the floor as if I couldn’t walk. I clenched onto the anonymous man's soft hands. He curled up like a baby residing in their mother's womb. His eyes filled with pain. Blood dripped and dropped as it slowly crept out of his mouth. His soft baby-like hand slowly turned wrinkly as if he was an old man. His soft handsome delicate face slowly turned wrinkly like a burnt potato. Blood slowly crept out of his blue eyes as it dripped down his wrinkly face. His breathing stopped and all that stood was a horrifying corpse. I look around to see a city which was once filled with life filled with horrifying corpses. I started wailing like a baby. My heart ached in pain as I was crying so much I almost choked on my salty tears. Soon the world turned white.
