Ji-Ho Experiences His First Fight!

Ji-Ho picks up a brandished wooden sword next to his right, fully well knowing he’s never used one before

*i hope those sword skills come in handy*

“I hope your ready! Give it your all” Alex says, belligerently, excited to defeat another newcomer

Ji- ho shots a look of worry to Dae, only for it to go over her head

“Get ready! 3,2,1 GO!” The receptionist shouts

Alex shoots off first, using his right foot as a propeller to boost toward ji-ho. Ji-ho dodges it, to Alex’s shock.

Alex could sense the worry on ji-ho’s face, so how did he dodge!? Was he faking it, or worried..... for him?

Alex panics and charges once more, ignoring the innumerable holes in his defense

*huh? I can sense his style, and his methods before he does it... is this my gods eye?* is what he would’ve liked to have thought, but honestly Alex came at him so quick he could only think to deflect, however this only made Alex panick even more

What Ji-ho does next shocks all Alex, the receptionist and Dae

Out of nowhere Ji-ho turns his body upright, and with magnificent footwork and force, weaves in between Alex’s attacks. He goes for a swing, so delicate it could trim hair in a salon, and cracks Alex’s ribs.

Not only did it drop the jaw of Alex, mainly because of pain, but it had shocked the evaluator (receptionist) more. No newbie had ever beaten Alex before, let alone with such skills and precision.

*wow! I’m so nimble, let’s go!*

He’s thinking, albeit shocked that he could interweave Alex so much.

To the spectators eyes, it was simply fast eyes and lighting speed reaction and precision, but for Ji-ho it was so much more.

With the help of his special ability Gods eye, and many other swordsmanship skills [see previous episodes for the full titles and abilities] he could see so much more

When Alex charged many points on his body lit up, almost like a signal to hit there, and not only could he do that, his body knew exactly what movement would hit there. It was if someone else was moving for him, it was unbelievable

“You were incredible! Why didn’t you tell me you were so strong?”

Inside Ji-ho chuckles too himself

*how the heck was I supposed to know? I only came to wherever this is hours ago*

“What can I say, I’m just too good” he says, knowing how smug he sounds, just not caring

“Fair play to you then” Dae reluctantly says, admitting he is indeed very strong

“Let’s go see what your rank will be!”

“You were indeed more skilled then I thought, hmm......”the receptionist exclaims

“Alex and I have come up with a collective decision on your rank!”

*i really hope it’s not too bad, else I won’t be able to make a living* Ji-ho thinks, prepping himself for something bad, one of his more negative traits due to his life experiences

“Here is your card!” The receptionist hands him the card

The room is in silence

.......................

“Huh!?”

Ji-Ho looks at his card bewildered

*how has this happened!!!*
