Heden : Lost in the swamp forest

“Ugh. I wonder what’s going on with them two. They’re not dating already right? No way! I’ve always wanted to do that firs.. what am I even saying?” as jealousy keeps growing within Heden, he continues to ride his black horse Elytra with no destination. “How I wish I would have a partner with me already.” sighs Heden. Then, he soon arrived at a swamps forest. The swamps seems mysterious and large. With no hesitations, he proceed to went into the swamps forest even when he doesn’t know anything about this place. As he rides his horse for over three hours, he has seen nothing but a continuation of large trees and tall grass. “This place is really really huge! It’s never ending.” as frustrations starts to rage in Heden, he went across a little pond. “Maybe we can take a rest here for a while.” said Heden to his horse. As the sun began to set, they both fell asleep under a tree next to the pond. The next morning while Heden was still asleep, he heard a strange noise like someone is calling him. “Mister.. mister.. MISTER!” as he heard someone shouting, he woke up in a shock. Turns out, there was something calling him. It’s a green slime.

“What?! Eww! What are you?” asked Heden. “Hey! That’s rude. I’m a green slime that lives in this swamp. What do you think you’re doing sleeping next to my habitat?” replied the slime. With Heden still creeped out, he can’t answer the slime. “Ugh, why are people so rude these days. They’ve never seen a slime before?” as the slime mumbles he turned himself into a human like figure so that it’ll calm Heden down.

“Happy? Can you answer my question now?” said the slime. “Oh sorry, I’ve just never seen something like you before. So basically, I just came across this never ending swamp and got lost so I decided to take a nap here.” replied Heden. “You idiot. Do you know how dangerous it is to sleep here during the night? There are monsters in this swamp forest. You are lucky that you are even alive!” said the slime. “Oh I didn’t know. No one told me about this before so I kinda just wonder in. What’s your name by the way?” replied Heden. “I’m Irvine the slime. Just call me Irvine.” said the slime. Then, the slime told Heden that it’ll lead him to the forest’s exit but with a cost. Heden would have to fuse the slime into his silent katana because Irvine was bored of living in a pond. “Why didn’t you just get out of this forest by yourself?” asked Heden. “I can’t. A slime is weak when it’s just a slime. But if you fuse me with a weapon, I’ll improve your weapon’s sharpness, lighten the weight and smoothen your grip.” replied Irvine. Heden then accept the cost because he wouldn’t want to stay lost in this swamp forest forever. After a few minutes of fusing, Irvine successfully fused with the silent katana. “Oh, smells like a new house in here.” said Irvine. “Wait. You can talk?!” asked Heden. “Of course I can you idiot. I’m not dead. I’m just living in this katana now. You have to give me a cool nickname since I’m in your katana now. ” said Irvine while grinning. “Irvine the silent katana. How about that?” said Heden. “Jeez, you don’t have to go that far. But I like it.” replied Irvine. Irvine the silent katana then showed Heden to the exit of the forest. But things didn’t went well. Heden encountered a wolf yet bear sized beast drooling for it’s next meal. It’s eyes were looking directly at Heden like he’s food.

“You can still save your life if you just walk away. Trust me, if you think that I’m your next meal, you are gravely mistaken. This mistake of yours will cost you your death. Dare to try me you low life beast?” said Heden. His words so evil that an evil aura starts to appear. Irvine was so shocked to see the other side of Heden that was so evil. The beast then strikes towards Heden without any warning. Heden then pulled out his katana and sliced all of four of its legs in an instant. The beast immediately dropped to the ground and starts growling in pain. Heden then pointed his katana at the beast and said “I told you, you would not listen.” He then proceed to stab the beast’s skull and killed it. The beast with no match at all for Heden, died in a matter of seconds. “Guess now I’ll be on my way then. Show me the way slime.” said Heden. “Oh.. ok.” said Irvine while he’s still in shock after what happened. Soon they arrived at the exit after hours of riding his horse. “Where to now?” asked Irvine. “To a destination yet to be known. But, I’m hoping to find a village.” answered Heden. They then began their journey together hoping to find a village.
