"Oiiiii? Earth to Yue?" kanina pang tawag sakin ni Mei.

"Yeah?"

"Hindi ka pa ba kakain? Come on Yue, sayang pagkain." napatingin ako sa pagkain na nakahapag sa harapan ko. Burger steak iyon at may kasamang ginasang sayote. Weird menu for a typical rich company. I mean pede naman kaseng mas sosyal pa dito yung menu nila. But whatever food is a food.

Tumango ako at kinain ang pagkain ko na nangangalahati na. Habang ako ay kumakain, napatingin ako kay Zeus na abala sa pagtatype sa laptop nya.

Napatigil ako sa pagsubo. "Mission? What mission?"

Nagsalubong ang kilay ko. "Dad! Bakit mo naman ako inarangged marriage kay Zeus? What the hell dad? Sa US nga kapag may mga lalaking lumalapit sakin halos patayin mo na sa titig mo tapos ngayon gusto mo na akong ikasal? What?"

"Okay then. You said it." umalis si Zeus sa kinauupuan nya at pinaharap nya ako sa kanya ng upo. Nilabas ulit nya yung singsing at lumuhod sa harapan ko.

"Yue Luxembourg, take this ring as a sign that I will protect you with all my life and promise to keep you safe. So... Will you marry me?"

Inabot ko ang kamay ko sa kanya. "Yes, I will. Till mission do us apart."

Isinuot na nya sakin yung mamahaling singsing at pagkatapos ay sinipat-sipat ko iyon.

"Yeah thanks. I like it though." sabi ko habang hindi ko parin maalis-alis ang tingin sa singsing. Ganda kasi eh.

"I'm glad. Your friend Mei suggested that." napatigil ako sa pagsipat ng narinig ko ang pangalan ni Mei.

Napatingin ako sa kanya. "What? Mei? She knew about this?"

"No, I actually don't know na ikaw yung babaeng tinutukoy ni Zeus. " biglang salita ni Mei mula sa likuran ko.

"What? What do you mean? Tsaka, akala ko umalis ka na?"

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at napanganga ko. My goodness! Isang bagsakan lang? Di pa nga ako nakakarecover mula kanina tapos ngayon kasal na agad?

"Wait--! Hold on! Alam ba ito ni mama?"

"I informed your relatives, friends, family, specifically everyone." sambit ni Zeus na hanggang ngayon kalmado parin yung muka. My gosh, hindi ba sya tututol? I mean ano? Yun na yun? Susuko mo na yung marriage life mo para lang bayaran yung utang na loob mo kay dad? Unbelievable!

"Everyone? Pati media?"

"Yes."

Muntik na akong malaglag sa kinauupuan ko. "WHAT?? Ano yun? Paniguradong maraming reporters ang susugod sa bahay namin nan! Shouldn't we do this secretly?"

"So Yue Luxembourg-Alkenberg, shall I take you home?" sabay nilahad ni Zeus yung kamay nya.

Tinanggap ko iyon. "Yeah, take me home. I'm exhausted from all this stuff. I wanna sleep."

He chuckled. "Sorry about that. Don't worry about the marriage thing. Just live your life like you used to. Isipin mo na lang na single ka pa ren."

"Whatever. Now take me home."

"Yes ma'am." at lumabas na kami ng kompanya nya at tinungo ang kotse nya at inihatid na nga nya ako sa bahay namin.

Pagkarating na pagkarating ko sa bahay namin, sinalubong ako ni mama na happy daw sya para sakin dahil kinasal na daw ako. Akala nga daw nya tatanda na akong dalaga. Tsk, pagkatapos naman ng mission annulled na kame kaya message ko lang kay mama na tanggapin na nyang tatanda ako ng dalaga.

Pagkahatid din sakin ni Zeus sa bahay, pinakain pa sya ni mama tapos nagpasmall party pa nga. Bigyan na daw sya ng sandamakmak na apo. Once again ma, tanggapin mo ng poreber ****** yung anak mo.

HAYYY... Gusto ko ng magpahinga.
