Episode: No more love

"Damn!"

The naked man quickly got out of bed and was trying to put on something. Of course, he could not have predicted being raided like this in the early morning.

“You… You…” Diana still didn't know what to say. “How can you do this?”

Her fiancee was cheating on her. And with whom? He was cheating with her best friend. He had done it while he was with her!

“How could you do this to me?”

After putting some clothes on, the man immediately grabbed Diana's arm. At that moment, Diana withdrew her hand in anger.

“Don't touch me, asshole!” She shouted. Then she looked at the other woman, who was still grinning sheepishly on the bed, and shouted again: “How could you do this to me! You were my friend! Have you no shame!”

The woman didn't even answer.

“I hate you both! You are disgusting! Disgusting!" Tears began to flow from the young girl's eyes. She couldn't help it. How could they do such a thing? Diana angrily took the ring off her finger and threw it at her ex-fiancée's face. “You and your new lover will be devastated! I hate you both assholes! Don't come across me again, Josh! You are a complete bastard!"

"Enough Diana! Are you done with what you have to say!”

Diana was breathless. The guy didn't regret it at all... In fact, he was almost glad he was caught.

“As if I adored you too! I've been thinking about how to break up with you for a long time anyway. Of course, I didn't want you to know like this... I'm sorry. But we are with Ember-”

Before Josh could finish his speech, Diana slapped the man in the face.

“And you talk shamelessly, you disgusting bastard!” shouted Diana with angrily. “You are disgusting son of bitch!”

Josh angrily grabbed Diana's hair and threw her. “What do you think you are doing, idiot!” he shouted into her face, “I don't love you, don't you understand? I never loved you! Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror? Huh? I'm telling you Diana! How can you think I could love you?”

Tears continued to flow slowly down Diana's cheeks. She wiped her cheeks. She had just fallen to the ground because of that disgusting guy's brutal swing. When she slowly sat up, the woman on the bed wrapped the white sheets around herself and sat up laughing.

“Josh, my love, you shouldn't be so rude. What has happened to the girl?" She said with amusement.

Diana looked at the woman who used to be her best friend. There would be no honor in a person. How could she talk after doing such a disgusting thing?

Ember suddenly looked at Diana with hatred and said, "Don't look at me like that! I never liked you anyway!" Diana is shocked. She is continued “You have always been everyone's favorite girl! All of my friends! Aunts and uncles! Even the cats on the street love you! You play the role of a cheerful, good-hearted, innocent girl who spreads smiles to everyone! I've always hated people like you!”Ember approached Josh and hugged his arm. "Did you really think that Josh could love someone like you? You are very naive, Diana, very naive."

Diana wiped her tears. She wasn't crying anymore. She now looked with hatred at these two people who had entered his life and who had once been the most valuable people. When she turned her red eyes to Josh, he looked away for some reason.

Diana sniffed. “What can I say,” she said slowly, “I wish you happiness. You suit each other very well."

Josh suddenly said angrily: “That's right!” he shouted, “You don't suit me!”

Diana turned back. She clenched her fists. Josh was a handsome man. He was a tall, attractive man with a good physique, dark chestnut hair, and burning black eyes. Diana knew that he always attracted the attention of women easily. That's why she had stayed away from him at first. A handsome young lawyer could make any woman's heart flutter. That's why she always chose to stay away from that man who knew her place. However, Josh himself always followed her. Didn't she forcefully jump into his arms? Why was he talking now as if she was the one who forced him?

Diana turned back for the last time and when she said, "I curse you," a strange mixture of emotions appeared in Josh’s eyes. "I curse you... I hope you love someone who doesn't love you... Let this be my curse on you."

After saying her last words, Diana slowly left the place.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Diana put the empty bottle in her hand aside. She took another bottle but later realized it was empty. She picked up another bottle, unfortunately it was also empty. In anger, she threw one of the bottles towards the wall with all her strength. The ominous sound the bottle made when it shattered echoed in the corridors of the empty house. She covered her ears. Maybe this action would stop her ears from ringing.

"I hate myself for being so blind," she muttered to herself, her voice hoarse from crying. She could barely stop herself from bursting into sobs. The tears she thought were over were escaping from her eyes again. She pulled her knees towards herself. She leaned her head on her knees and wrapped her arms around her legs. She was in a miserable state. There were three empty bottles next to her. It was as if the alcohol she consumed made the pain worse instead of relieving it. Why did heartache hurt so much? Her heart was pounding and her breathing was becoming difficult. No matter how deeply she breathed, there was not enough oxygen in her lungs...

Her heart ached for being ridiculed and for the words she heard. Why did they hate her so much? However, she had always admired Ember. She was so beautiful, so feminine! All the men around her admired her. They could fall in love with your smile. However... She was just Diana. A freckled red-haired woman who is not very attractive, looks like a high school student, is 1.54 tall and has small breasts. So Josh had never loved her. Nasty bastard!

She stood up from where she was sitting. She had come to the farmhouse she inherited from her grandmother. She wanted to be alone, to rest her mind. She couldn't digest the events. The disgusting sight she saw and the disgusting sentences she heard still made her sick to her stomach.

She went upstairs.

This small library room, where old books on the shelves were covered with dust, held many of her childhood memories. Diana loved this room very much. As a child, she spent all day reading books with excitement on the old armchairs of this room.

When she entered the room, she was surrounded by the intense smell of mold and dust. And of course, the priceless unique smell of those old books.

Diana loved the smell of those old pages. She took a deep breath. She looked around at the books on the shelves. The light of the moon was leaking in through the large window, so there was a dim light around. The full moon was illuminating the surroundings tonight.

A sad, bittersweet smile appeared on her face. She was slowly examining the books with one hand... she had learned from these books...

These books taught her what love was... Those pages told her that unique feeling.

Those dark pages told her about the uniqueness of Love.

Diana had always dreamed of that love. Her greatest wish in her life was to experience a great love. But the result: real Love existed only in books and fairy tales. True love was only found in those old, musty pages. There was no such thing as love in this life.

People who broke the rules, broke all the exceptions, experienced true love and experienced that feeling became an epic, a legend, spread from word to mouth.

Diana bit her lip to avoid crying again with her painful smile. She became the third person in her own life story. Maybe all this time she thought she was the leading character in her own story, but in fact she was always the third person.

She continued to walk around the room. Her body was numb due to the alcohol she drank, and she couldn't even think clearly. Suddenly she noticed that there was a box at the top of the bookshelves. When she stood on a stool and picked up the box, she suddenly lost her balance. When she hit the shelves and fell to the ground, the box in her hand fell right in front of her. She rubbed her eyes and took the box in her hand. It looked like a pretty old box.

She put the box on the table by the window. Diana was still dizzy and couldn't stand still. When she carefully opened the box, a bitter smile appeared on her face.

“Love and Madness,” she murmured.

Diana laughed painfully. This was her first and last book that she wrote by hand. I think she wrote it ten years ago. Ah, she was a really crazy girl back then. She lost her family at that time. She couldn't even remember whether she had finished her book.

What was it really about? She thought for a while.

Hah! She remembered now!

Once upon a time, there was a duke who was very handsome, but also cruel, feared by everyone, and whose heart was frozen. And one day, this callous duke fell in love with a poor aristocrat's daughter!

Diana laughed again, even though she didn't want to.

Was this really the subject of the book she wrote so excitedly when she was little? She must have lost his mind! Was this the love story she wrote with her own hands? Is this a ridiculous topic? Diana guess she was pretty stupid as a teenager.

Is such a person... Such a rich, arrogant man falling in love? Impossible!

She couldn't believe that she had written this impossible story herself. How stupid she acted. She should definitely burn this book. She didn't want anyone to read it. It would literally be a laughing stock.

She opened the first page of the old leather cover book in her hand. She remembered, she was very excited when she wrote this. She always told her mother that he would be a writer. That's why she bought such a thick, book-like leather cover notebook. She thought it would be a manuscript book.

"It's just childhood," Diana smiled.

How old is the book? The color of the pages changed to yellow. As soon as she opened the box, the strong musty smell was quite evident. After all, the book had been waiting in this box for ten years.

Diana wondered what was written on the first page. Maybe she wrote it with her own hands, but she didn't remember much of the story. What happened in the end? She didn't remember at all. She wrote down everything that came to her mind as a child.

Diana wondered for a moment if it really had a happy ending. She couldn't even remember the names of the main characters. She just wanted to write a love story because she loved the novels of old English literature.

She read the sentence on the first page out loud:

“Maybe we are people from different worlds... Maybe I am the earth and you are the sky. Maybe there are mountains and oceans between us that cannot be crossed... Remember, if we cannot be WE, then this world would not exist without us... Remember my love, wherever you are, I am always a breath away, my darling..."

What a ridiculous declaration of love that was.

Did I really write this?

This was the first thing Diana thought of. Maybe if she had read it a few days ago, she would have thought, "Oh, did I write this, how cute is it?" She might think. But now for some reason she wanted to vomit.

Suddenly Diana noticed something shining inside the box. This was a very beautiful, elegant ring. She carefully took the ring in his hand.

“I didn't know my grandmother had such a ring,” she said to herself, beginning to examine the ruby ring on her hand. Finally, she couldn't resist and put it on her ring finger. “I thought it looked nice too…”

Diana was looking at her hand with a half-hearted smile. Her head was still throbbing. She sat on the armchair next to her. She began to silently look at her open book on the table... The table was bright thanks to the moonlight, and there was a lamp right next to it.

“Maybe I can read what I wrote, I was just wondering,” she said to herself.

She could have pushed aside the unsuccessful love story in her own life and read the love that consisted of this fairy tale.

“I wish,” she said suddenly, taking her book again, “I wish… If it were like the pages in this book, my life. If I were one of the beautiful women in these stories. I'm willing to suffer at first. As long as my ending ends with a happy ending. In the end, let me reach happiness,” She smiled to himself “I am still in the pursuit of dreams… I am so a pathetic person. Are you going to fall in love with the character you created yourself? she said to herself.

After smiling again, she opened the first page of the book and started reading it aloud.

“Once upon a time there was a young duke whose heart was rusted, who did not believe that love existed...”

Suddenly, the ring on his finger began to shine. Diana looked at the ring in surprise. Somehow she was getting scared. It was like the ring was starting to burn your skin.

"What's going on?"

She tried to take the ring off her finger, but the ring was very warm. Could not touch. The ring, which was warming up, started to burn her skin. There was no fucking ring. It was stuck! This time, the pages of her book, which she had left on the table, began to open one by one.

Diana instantly got up with fear. She was going back. The book began to shine. A great fear appeared in it. She had to get out of here. She had to run away. The damn book continued to shine and was getting stronger. Her eyes were beginning to dazzle.

Diana tried to close her eyes with her hand. She tried to go to the door, but an invisible force was holding him.

"Ah!"

Suddenly, she began to be drawn by an invisible force. The surrounding objects were toppling, and some of them began to fly in the air. Diana started screaming. What was going on in this damn room! Then it was taken again. It was pulled onto the book that was shining light on the table.

No way! This could not be possible!

Diana screamed for the last time and left herself in the void.
