As I was drawing I heard the doors open I guess its time for me to head out. I looked at my drawing and realized I was drawing Jakari, he’s really on my mind. I cant even talk to him because we got off on the wrong foot now I know he actually looks at me as a weirdo. On my walk to school a red car drove past me and parked Jakari got out he was yelling at someone and ran in the house as he was running up the steps his phone dropped out his pocket.

Jakari POV

Um hi it’s Starla from your class she hears a response but can’t quite hear so she stays quiet, then he opens the door are you deaf or something freak she looks him in his eyes and replies sorry I couldn’t hear you I have your phone though you dropped it he makes eye contact back her eyes are beautiful he thought oh thank you he replied. Then both of them hear tires screetch his ride left he yells dont come back then moron. Starla offers for him to walk with her he thinks i cant be caught with her he declines. After getting his things for school he heads out he begans to walk he sees Starla in the distance he looks around and decides to walk with, her he catches up and say hey. Oh hi if you don’t mind me asking who was that in the car oh uh nobody he was embarrassed to say that it was his dad because his dad acts likes an asshole. Oh ok um what brings you to this school I got transferred i got in too many fights at my old school you dont look like a fighter I dont fight just to fight i have to have a reason most of my fights were over girls and sports. They are almost at school so Jakari distances his self from Starla because he doesnt want to get caught with her. Starla realizes this and feels hurt she actually thought she was bonding with him. Ok time to enter this school she looks back and sees Jakari on his phone wow he really doesnt want to be seen with me i wish we would’ve atleast exchanged numbers or socials. As she entered the classroom everyone’s looking at her she goes to her locker and opens it, its filled with garbage inside her heart starts racing she wants to cry but holds her tears back. She sees that there is a letter she reads it.

Dear Loser,

Dont think we stopped bullying you we just heard a new kid coming to this school so we thought we had another kid to bully but he’s actually cool unlike you.
