Psychosis
It was the beginning of September my parents had sent me to live with my big brother for the time being. As I rode on the train I glanced out the window occasionally to view the scene before me. The lush green shrubs and looming trees gazing down from the sky. As we got nearer and nearer to the city I had this nagging feeling as if I was being watched, no... Stalked from the forest. It was as if a predator lie in wait to pounce on his new found prey.
With the chilling feeling still dripping down my spine, there was no way I was getting sleep. As I recollected my past train experience, the train lurched to a halt, the lights began to flicker and the train suddenly became quiet all chatter immediately dissipated. Why was it so quiet? I watched as everyone around me closed their window, I did the same. What was happening? A number of questions flooded my mind when all of a sudden *tap *tap like dripping water except it was on my window*tap. As I reached for the window a hand grabbed me from behind I began to squirm in their grasp *mmph. Shh she whispered in my ear I slowly turned to see an older woman before me with gray hair and pale green eyes. She had her finger on her mouth as she looked at me, she didn't blink or flinch or even move. She stared at me for what seemed like hours with the same worried expression and a finger over her mouth.* tap * tap there it was again only this time on the window in the seat across from me. This seat was occupied by a little girl and her mother who quietly looked forward and payed no attention to the tapping. As silent as possible. We all stood there for it seemed as though time had stopped, and then * knock it came at the car door this time. When no one answered the handle rattled slowly then vigorously as time passed no one risked even a breath. But as the light stopped flickering and finally cut out, the door stopped rattling. The knocks and taps hushed and silence remained. We all lie in wait for what happened next I still had no clue of what was going on but I knew it was bad, my gut began to twist and I broke out in a cold sweat. *click, that sound... The door it opened *creak as the door slowly creaked open what lie behind the door caused my heart to race and my breathing to become heavier. Now I wished I could go back home to my warm bed and my mom. I didn't want any part of this little town we were stuck in the town of Nunally.
