Chapter 3

Min-Ho remained in his study not doing anything but thinking about Seo-Yun.

" This is just a delusion, I can't like someone on the first day, we are just friends and how could I ask her those questions, I so f**ked up" he thought

Seo-Yun became worried and she went to his study again

"I thought you said a minute" she asked

" My apologies, work is tough my wife " he said and pretended not to hear himself.

"Who's your wife" she asked in confusion

" huh?? " he reacted

"You called me your wife" she replied

"Oh maybe it's because you are behaving like one currently" he said jokingly

" Haha very funny " she said and rolled her eyes

Min-Ho finally left his study and came for lunch, he could smell the aroma of the food, it smelled nice, he finally reached the dinning and saw all the mouthwatering dishes. It was just the way he liked it, Japchae with beef, bibimbap with a twist and grilled bulgogi with a side of kimchi .

"Wow this looks so good, surprisingly these are my favorites, they are eye appeasing, but.... are they mouth watering" he said as he tries the bulgogi, he savors the marinated beef short ribs, grilled to perfection and served with a side of spicy kimchi to balance out the richness. He eats elegantly, not even a drop of kimchi on his lips nor his shirt, no sound with the cutlery, the perfect etiquette.

"Please join me, have a seat" he said briefly

" Do you like it? " she asked

"............."

" Yes " he answered briefly

" Is he mad at me, why so brief" she asked herself. She proceeded to join him

Lunch was very peaceful, Seo-Yun finished her meal before Min-Ho because she was so hungry. Min-Ho finishes, he says nothing but moves towards Seo-Yun, she gives him a question look, he uses his thumb to clean her plump lips.

"Remember to wipe your lips whenever you're through eating" he said

Seo-Yun was embarrassed and her cheeks turned crimson, she packs the dishes immediately and leaves the dinning to the kitchen. Min-Ho places the thumb he used in wiping her lips on his.

"It does have a different taste, sweeter if I must say" he said with a smirk

" Joon-Oh"

While washing the dishes, Seo-Yun thought about her brother.

"Joon I'll be coming to pay for your treatment soon just hold on for me okay" she said as she wiped a tear from her eye

Meanwhile at Angel-in-us family hospital a charming young man, that has a lean, athletic build and stands around 5'10 with a relaxed, effortless posture, his dark brown messy and perpetually tousled, framing his heart shaped face lays on the hospital bed, motionless and pale. His breathing is unstable and his finger moves

"Seo-Yun don't cry, I will be fine" he said in his oxygen mask

"If you continue my heart hurts "he said still in comma

Joon-Oh's heart rate drops dangerously and he starts jerking uncontrollably, the doctors rush in.

"We're loosing him" one of the doctors said

" Bring the drip, be quick "

"Nurse stop standing there and regulate the monitor"

Seo-Yun receives a call

" Hello "

"........."

"No!!"

"God I'll be there" she said as her eyes reddened

She washed her hands and left the mansion immediately

"Lord please I believe in you he's just an innocent kid,he has a bright future ahead please " she said silently as she cried in a cab.

An hour later she arrives, all doctors were trying their best but nothing seemed to work. Soon the monitor stops beeping, Seo-Yun nearly goes out of her mind as she sees the doctors covering up his body with a white bed wrap

"NO!!" she screamed she shook him

"Joon you said you'd be fine, you lied to me Joon Joon!!" she cried profusely

" Remember I promised we'll go to the amusement park and get your favorite ice cream once you get better,then wake up" she yelled

" you promised you'd be fine,so you broke it idiot you did" she said and placed her head on his motionless body

It seemed Joon was out of his body,he was staring at his sis

"This girl, I said you shouldn't cry,look at me here" he said

" Joon Oh I said wake up" Seo-Yun said as she continued sobbing, Joon turned and noticed his body laying there,lifeless,he tried patting his sister but he just went through her

"Seo-Yun I'm here" tears dripped from his eyes

The nurses came in and wanted taking him away but Seo-Yun disagreed

"One more minutes please" she requested,the nurses felt pity for her

"Okay" they echoed

" look at this necklace, remember this" she said and removed the half heart pendant she was wearing

" You gave this to me last year, you're still wearing the other half you said you'd never leave me,now what you're gone you promised you'd hold on,yet you're laying here listening to me cry" she added she choked on her sobs her eyes were reddened and swollen .
