After dinner, Lily and Mr. Frost sat in the living room.

"How was the meeting with Mr. Martini? It was ok. Right?" Lily asked.

Then his warm face suddenly fell at the question. Hints of tiredness and worry were there instead.

"That's the thing I want to talk about." Mr Frost paused for a while, then he continued.

"He wants the money back by the end of the week." he replied.

"Isn't that a bit too fast? I mean, from where will we get the money in such a short time? Is there any other way to compromise the situation?" Lily asked, only for her hope to be broken at the moment she got the reply.

"No, if we don't pay the amount by the end of the week, he'll take away the Cafe."

She was about to say something to him when he continued.

"But, he asked for another meeting on the Thursday of this week. I guess we can still hope for a better solution."

Hearing that she released the breath she unconsciously held.

"OK then. I want to join the meeting. If that's ok" .He nodded.

"I don't know Lily. Mr. Martini used to have a dark background. He still has it in him. You know what I mean. Right?"

"They won't do it until it happens so I don't think it's a good idea." Argued Mr. Frost.

"Okay fine." Lily gave up trying to pursue him.

"This is not over....blind girl......Lily."

'Who the hell is calling me blind?'

"Lily....Blind....."

'It's that stupid hunk.'

"Lillian!"

'How did he know my name?'

"LILY!!"

Startled by the shout, she did the only thing that anyone would do. Jump. But unfortunate, instead of jumping up, she fell down on the floor as she was wrapped in something.

Moaning in pain, she looked up to see what happened as she free herself front the quilt. And so, she met the 'Death Eyes' of Mrs. Frost.

"Now, if you are in the world of living, I would suggest you to get up and look at the time."

She looked the wall clock in front of her and it said 25 minutes pass 7 of the morn.

"Holy Frankenstine! I'm late."

Cussing out loud, rush to the bathroom.

"What a great way to start the first day of your University! Sleeping the whole day dreaming of the dumb hunk....He's quite handsome though."

Catching on what she just said, Lily stopped rushing for a sec.

'What the hell Lily! When did you start becoming a prev? Think of Dad in Pink.'

"Pff! That would be hilarious. Like a lion on pink skirt."

After amusing herself with her imagination, she began to rush again. After about 20 minutes, she finally got ready to leave and came down for breakfast.

'Wow...That's a new record. I might become faster than Usain Bolt if I practice a lot.'

Everyone was already in the dining room. Mr. Frost was reading the daily news while his wife is serving him the breakfast. Their youngest daughter, Alisa was in front of him, eating the food her mum prepared.

"Good Morning Lily."

"Morning Uncle Frost." Lillian greeted back to Mr. Frost.

"What's good about morning!" The grumpy Alisa voiced her irritation. Not much of a morning person, let's say.

Not minding what everyone's doing, Lily ate what ever is on her plate fast.

"Eat slowly. Your University is near the cafe. So I can drop you there."

But Lily's mind had no time to sip in what he said. She was late and she still had to search for the office, get her schedules, search, search for cafeteria, search for.....many other things. But the main problem was,

'I AM LATE.'

Seeing that she wasn't listening to what he was saying, the man of the family just sighed and began eating his food. After that, he followed the young lady that rushed towards the door.

When Lillian noticed Mr. Frost following her, that was the moment she remembered that the Cafe was near the cafe and Mr. Frost can drop her. She could shamelessly consider herself as the biggest idiot ever.

'Finally.' She thought.

The ten minutes that took her to reach seemed to be the longest ten minutes she had ever experience. It felt like waiting on an egg which have just been laid to hatch.

Realising a sigh of relief, she walked into the gate of the biggest and the best University in the Island Country. The Cohen University. The first thing that came to her mind was,

"IT'S HUGE"

The area covered by the University seemed to have no end as she couldn't see its partition. There were different routes for different fields. Medical, Engineering, Laws, Arts, etc. had their own separate building which no small.

As for her, she followed the route that leads to Business Department. After searching for the Office of the HOD of the Business for about ten minutes, she met with the receptionist whom she didn't wish to met for the second time. She got her schedule from the reception and map.

'That's be thoughtful of them. To give us a map. Any one could get lost in this place. Now let's search for the class.'

Lily, thankfully, had no class on the first period, so she didn't need to rush. If she did have a 1st class, she'd be twenty five minutes late. After exploring the Business block for a while she went to the second floor for her Economic class. She was looking at the leveling of the classes as she was walking and thus had no idea that she was walking towards a woman who was leaning on the reling. And then. BANG.

"Oh my God! I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you?" Lily apologised not waiting for a second.

But, the woman she crashed on to wasn't even listening to her. The only thing she did was stare blankly down the reling.

"Uhm...Miss?" Lily called her, concerned of the way the woman was behaving.

The later turned her head slowly to look at Lily. Her face read 'shock'. Lily didn't understand why she was like that, until the woman said two words.

"My phone" It was a mere whisper, but she was heard.

Then it came to Lillian's mind that she caused the woman's phone to drop from the second floor. Surely, it didn't survive.

"I'm so....So so so sorry. I wasn't looking at where I was going. What do I do now? Sure I have to pay for my clumsiness. That jerk was totally right. I'm blind. Even after years of training I'm still like this...." Hearing her rant seemed to woke the woman up and somewhat feeling bad to see Lily like that.

"Hey. Hey. Chill." She had an amused smile when she saw the Lily's cuteness. "It's not like you did it on purpose. Besides I was planning to get a new phone this week."

"Huh!!"

It was the only Lily came up with at the moment. The woman had the weirdest reaction for someone whose phone got destroyed.

'And someone was ready to kill me for spilling coffee on his shirt.'

.

.

.

'Hey! Where did he come from? Lily FOCUS.'

"But. I destroyed your phone. Let me pay for it. Or I can get you a new one." Lily said ready to compensate the cost.

"No no. There's no need for that. Just...your apology is enough."

"But that's not right. I have to pay for what I caused."

"It's okay. You didn't do that intentionally. And you mistake helped me get rid of an annoying person."

"I did?" Lily became more confused.

"You must be the angle God sent me from above to help me shut the asshole."

The woman was smiling but instead of feeling comfortable, it brought chill on Lily.

'She must have hated the person so much.'

"I'm...glad that I helped." Lily said not knowing what to do.

"Yeah. You surely did. Thanks."

'This is so weird.' Lily thought referring to the unusual event she was in.

"So...Can I get your name?" The woman asked.

"Lillian. Lillian Frost."

"Emma Rousseau."

They shook their hand.

"Lillian Frost? Haven't heard it before. New here?" Asked the now known as Emma.

"Yeah. It's my first day here."

"Oh! First year, Right?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm...Why so late? I mean. Why join after a month?"

"I...had some health problem."

"Oh! I hope you're okay now."

"Yeah. I'm fine now."

"That's good to hear. I'm also in first year by the way. Since you are in the Business block, you must be a business student."

"Yes."

"Managing or Administrative?"

"Managing." Lily replied.

"Why?"

"....Excuse me. What?"

"Why did offer Managing? If you took Administration we would have shared all the classes together."

"..." Lily was speechless at Emma's straight forward nature.

"Just when I thought I found my ideal type."

'Wait. She can't be a lesbian, right?'

She checked out the girl. She had figure that any girl would kill for. Right meat on right areas unlike Lily's slim and thin figure. She was just perfect.

'It'd be a pity if no man worship her body... Wait. Don't tell me I'm turning to a lesbian.... No. Lily. No.'

"Ideal type?" Lily asked Emma after control her wild thoughts.

"Yes. Sweet and innocent cutie pie. Just the one I was looking for." Emma replied in a weird way making Lily take a few steps away from her.

"You won't reject me, will you?" But Emma was a few inches from her face. How she reached there so fast, Lily had no idea.

"Ee....ahmm..." Lily leaned away from Emma as she brought her hands between them. "I'm sorry. But I don't swing that way."

Hearing that, Emma made a face of someone who is confused.

"Swing what?" She asked.

"..."

"Oh!"

Finally understanding what Lily meant, Emma released an amused chuckle.

"No. I didn't mean it that way. I'm also straight." She cleared the misunderstanding in Lily's mind.

Embarrassed at what she was thinking, Lily turned red.

"I'm Sorry. It was foolish of me to..."

She didn't complete the sentence due to embarrassment.

"It's okay. It was because of my choice of words. Anyway, I was talking about being friends." Emma said.

"..."

"It's know it's a bit fast. But I want to have you as my friend. Are you okay with that?"

Emma stared at her with so much hope twinkling in her eyes that she wouldn't reject even if she wanted to. But she had no problem with her being her friend.

"Yeah."

And that's how Lillian made her first female friend, Emma Rousseau.

Somewhere, in a dark room was someone who was looking at the photos.

"Finally. I found you, darling..." The person chuckled staring at the photos. "Look at you. Still like the ugly duckling like before. Even more uglier."

"What do we do now, Bro? Shall we in form the Harrington's?" Another man besides him asked.

"Nah. Let's wait for a while. They're very hasty. Ugly seemed to be having some fun now. It's a pity to ruin her freedom so soon. Let her enjoy while she can.....Cause once she comeback, her little wings would be cut off."

He let out a dramatic sigh.

"What a pitiful girl!"

"What shall we do about the Martinis?"

"Martinis? Just leave them for now. We still need them for the project."

"How about the Levingston's?"

Only hearing the name brought bitter feeling to the person. He stood up from the chair and went to stare out of the Glass wall of the 20th floor of the building.

"Soon....It's only matter of time. Soon, there would be no Levingston.....Not even a potrait will be found of any Levingston."
