It’s one thing to be rich and also miss the things ordinary people do and it’s another thing to actually take a vacation. This type of vacation isn’t like the rich people vacation which are traveling and doing rich people shit.

But for me, that is not how a vacation ought to be because you end up being the center of attention once you do things like that. That is why I always blend into the life of a commoner so that I can enjoy a peaceful and entertaining life.

There are a lot of things I enjoy about the commoners lifestyle. People like them don’t worry about calories, they don’t have to worry about the paparazzi following their movements, they don’t get to hear devastating news about the fall of a company’s stock market.

Even though I was adopted at an early age there are still some things that I enjoyed when I was a kid. I think I could continue those habits after my adoption, but things only got worse. That’s why I strived to build myself, build my company, make my money and gain my freedom.

It was only when I built my company, with my own money that I actually had a say in that household. The only supportive person I have in that household is my adoptive mother and sister which kept me going. But all this information is not needed right?

Presently , I decided to come down from my throne and take a stroll in this bustling neighborhood, which was where I lived as a kid . A lot of things didn’t change except that there was a newly built grocery store right across the street, not that I remember much about that place, it just looks out of place.

I crossed the street and entered the shop, seeing that the girl behind the counter was busy with a customer, I went ahead and took the things that I wanted. Not that it was needed, I just need to get close to her to get information concerning this place.

I went straight to the refrigerator and took a few can of beer and dropped them in the basket and then I took a snack and another beverage.

That should do right ?

Now let’s go get acquainted with a certain lady. I got to the counter and place all that I had picked on the table. The lady eyes me trying to figure out my face since I wore a hoodie, and through the extremely lowered hood I stared at her fiercely. When she looks at what I had picked, she cursed loudly .

I can handle her eyeing me but she cursing st me is what I fucking won’t take.

“ Excuse me, are you talking to me?” My voice came out a little bit rough —not that it was exactly intentional— making her freeze with what she was doing. Slowly she looks up at me and I freeze.

Okay for sure this girl is fucking beautiful. She had a round eyes that seem bigger as she stared at me, white skin that surely would feel soft as fuck and those lips, they look so plump, soft and kissable especially with the way it was cherry color.

My entire body goes rigid at the thought of something wild and feral crept into my mind. Shaking my head mentally, I dragged myself out of the sudden hypnotic feeling I was starting to feel. In order to not divulge further I pick what I bought, which is already in a white polythene bag.

I pay up the price she called through the QR code and lift the bag but the girl grabs my wrist tightly. I stare at the slender fingers around my hand and trail them up to her face and see her holding a remorse face.

Don’t lose your cool Woo Jin, it’s just a woman. You can have any woman you want. Just don’t lose your shit, keep yourself together Seo Woo Jin!

I say to myself as those nasty thoughts try to pry their way in again. No way. No fucking chance.

“ Something wrong miss...” I trail off and stare directly at her tag. Kang Soo Yeon. Huh.

” ...Kang?”

Immediately the words came out she let’s go of my hand and apologizes.

“ Sir, I’m really sorry about earlier. I wasn’t cussing at you intentionally. I was just reminded of someone, I hope you can let it go.” She rambles all at once and bows her head.

“ Surely the person must be very handsome for me to remind you of the person.” I smile smugly and she rolls her eyes and mumbles something inaudible.

“ Anyways thank you for patronizing our store , I hope you can drop by again, good night dear sir.” She gives a forced smile.

Although this may sound as if she’s really thanking me this is just her way of telling me to get the fuck out. That does hurt my feelings though, if only she knew who I was , she’d practically be on her knees.

“ Sure... it was nice meeting you though, Ms Soo Yeon Kang.” I return her smile though and leave, walking down to my car.

Her apology, appreciation and smile were fake for her beauty.

But that doesn’t matter does it? We’re practically strangers and she my friend is very weird stranger.
