CHAPTER 1

I picked up the picture and sew a very familiar face. It was a picture of a four years old boy. My eyes widened at the sight of the picture.

No not him.

With shaky hands and a shaky voice I ask a question I know I have asked severaly.

" Who are you and what do you want from me"

Two months ago.

Lily was home alone and she was really bored so she decided to sit on the porch swing and watch as parents came to pick their children up from school.

It might sound creepy....well it is but she was bored and it was not her fault. She lived opposite a school and she loved the look of joy on the kids faces when their parents come to pick them up from school.

Soon a particular boy caught her attention. He was about four or five years old, had jet black hair, fair skin almost like a girls, but what caught her attention the most was his big blue eyes.

He was sitting on the school bench and was waiting for his parents to come pick him up from school.

She checked the time and saw that it was only 2:30 so she was not worried because most parents pick their children late, but she still felt bad for him.

At that moment her stomach decided to remind her that she was yet to have lunch so she went inside to preper something to eat.

Thirty minutes later, she looked out the window and saw that little boy still sitting and waiting for his parents. Lily felt heartbroken seeing him like that so she decided to at least try and cheer him up. She ordered a box of cookies which arrived within fifteen minutes.

She stood in front of her door taking three deep breaths to summon all the courage she had, looked both ways and crossed the road.

Lily quietly sat down on the bench, brought out a piece of paper from her pocket and wrote something on it. Then she placed it on the box of cookies and pushed it towards the kid.

The little boy who looked like he was about to cry turned to his left and saw a box of cookies with a not that read "hi, my name is Lily and I live in front of this school. I saw that you looked a little sad so I bought you some cookies, they are really good" with a smily face at the bottom of the paper.

He lifted his head and saw a lady looking at him with the prettiest smile he had ever seen. She had beautiful brown hair, big green eyes and smooth skin. She was wearing a very simple pink dress. He liked her instantly but he still kept his guard up because she was a stranger.

He just kept staring at the lady wondering what she wanted and why she was being so nice to him. Lily saw the little boy looking at her and guessed what he was thinking.

"You don't have to be scared of me I will not hurt you. If you are worried that I did something to the cookies then...." she trailed off while opening the box of cookies. She picked her favorite flavor, chocolate, and took a really big bite, chewed then swallowed to show the kid that nothing was wrong with the box of cookies.

The little boy was watching her as she was eating the cookies and swallowed a mouth full of saliva. He decided to way his options. He is currently outside and there are many people walking around so she would not try to kidnap him and even if she somehow succeeded in doing so it would not take long for his father to find him, to add to that, his teacher is standing in front of the school and watching them. Since she is yet to approach them to find out what is going on it means that either his teacher knows this lady, trusts her or is in cahoots with her. But looking at this lady for some reason he trusted her and decided to have some cookies since he was starting to feel hungry watching her eat the cookies.

Lily saw that the little boy was looking at her and thought that he still did not believe her so she was about to explain further when she saw him pick a cookies from the box. She smiled when she saw him pick another cookies and the look of amazement on his face

"Is it that good" he nodded."what is your name little boy" she inquired. He finished the cookie in his mouth before giving her an answer.
