Tomorrow was "The Singles Ball" an extravagant gala where werewolves find their mates. Though I'm not a werewolf it's possible that I might be a werewolf's mate.

werewolves can have a human as their mate as well as witches.

"Please!" Kate said again

"Ugh fine if it makes you stop whining!" I groaned I can't believe I'm going to this stupid ball. I'm not looking for a lover! But if I have one it's all the gods plan.

"Yes!" Kate shouted " Now let's go shopping! "

"What, why?" I mumbled knowing now I can't get out of this.

Kate seeming to have heard me with her werewolf hearing responded

"Why? Silly we're going to a ball!" She squeaked " and that means dresses which means shopping! "

" Yeah but we have dresses at our houses. " I said not wanting to go dress shopping

"Yeah, so?" Kate said with a tinge of annoyance.

"Nothing nothing Lets just go" I said not wanting to anger the beast.

I had to be honest, I loved the dress. It was a midnight black dress. And it opened up were my legs are but not all the way to my private's. It opened up about mid thigh. At the middle of the dress, it faded dark blue with little stars sewn into it. I loved the dress. I am the most powerful witch in the world. No questions asked. So unless I wanted every man staring at me. And every women shooting daggers. Not even mentioning assassination attempts. I would have to go in disguise. Though I'm pretty sure.I'm going to wear it on my disguise too.

Whenever I go into public. I use a disguise, I don't want everyone treating me like royalty wherever I go. I have blonde hair and green eyes on my disguise which I can take off with a flick of the hand. Well I am a witch so.... Duh (Young Luna)

I woke up early the next morning, knowing Kate would be livid if I was late for hair and makeup. if your wondering why don't I use my magic. I try not to use my magic for everything. Because it is said that if you use magic for everything. You lose your train of thought and use magic for walking, eating, maybe even showering. Great witches and wizards have all gone delusional using magic for everything. So that's why I avoid using magic for everything.

I called Katelynn at 6:30 because our hair appointment is at 7 and makeup at 8.

"Hey Kat!" I said " you ready? I'm coming to pick you up. "

"Uh hey Coral!" She said with worry in her voice. " Yeah I'm re-ready heh. "

"Oh my gosh Kate you just woke up didn't you?!" I said annoyed

" What~ No! I-um am ready right now! Heh heh"

"Yeah whatever Kate get ready in ten minutes." I said

"Yes Ma'am!" She said sarcastically as she hung up
