Chapter 1: Flashbacks

Jamie's eyes fluttered closed as he sat in his small apartment, surrounded by the familiar comforts of his omega life. He couldn't help but drift back to the memories of his past, the ones he tried to keep hidden.

Growing up, Jamie had always felt like an outcast. His parents, both alphas, had struggled to understand their omega son. They had tried to mold him into something he wasn't, pushing him to be more assertive, more dominant. But Jamie had always known he was different.

As he grew older, Jamie learned to embrace his omega nature. He found solace in his submissive tendencies, in the comfort of serving others. But life as an omega wasn't easy. He faced discrimination and prejudice from the alpha-dominated society.

Despite the challenges, Jamie had built a moderate life for himself. He worked as a freelance writer, taking on small projects to make ends meet. But he longed for something more, something that would bring him purpose and fulfillment.

That's when the job opportunity arose. Omicron Incorporated, the largest company in the world, was looking for a personal assistant to their newly appointed CEO. Jamie couldn't believe his luck when he landed the job.

Jamie stood outside the towering skyscraper that housed Omicron Incorporated. He took a deep breath, smoothing his attire for what felt like the hundredth time. He had researched the company, knew the CEO's reputation as a shrewd businessman.

As he entered the building, Jamie was greeted by the receptionist. "Welcome, Jamie. Mr. Ryder is expecting you."

Jamie's heart raced as he made his way to the CEO's office. He had heard rumors about Ryder's dominant nature, his alpha instincts legendary.

Jamie's first day at Omicron Incorporated was a blur of emotions. He was excited to start his new job, but nervous about meeting the CEO, Ryder. As he settled into his new role, Jamie couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. What would Ryder be like? Would he be kind and understanding, or demanding and difficult?

Finally, the day arrived when Jamie was scheduled to meet Ryder. He stood outside the CEO's office, his heart racing with anticipation. What would Ryder be like? Would he be impressed with Jamie's skills and experience?

Taking a deep breath, Jamie pushed open the door and stepped inside. Ryder looked up from his desk, his piercing blue eyes locking onto Jamie's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with tension.

"Ah, Jamie," Ryder said finally, his deep voice commanding attention. "Welcome to Omicron Incorporated. I trust you're settling in well?"

Jamie nodded, trying to hide his nervousness. "Yes, sir. Thank you for having me."
