The beginning of trouble

{Dilapidated villa}

"Did you put this downstairs?" Mr Fu questioned as he held up the magazine.

"I needed a pair of observant eyes as my assistant." The real Professor Bo commented.

Placing the magazine back onto the table, Mr Fu answered "Professor Bo. You just needed a short term translator. Testing intelligence? Fine. But testing observation skills? Is there really a need?"

"It's rather obvious. I don't want a stupid fool to translate for me. If they can't understand the details in the paper, they will not be able to understand the true meaning of its words."

"Then this Jenny, will she be able to understand such a soul like you?"

"No one will be able to understand..."

{Jenny's place}

"This is for your sister." Jason said as he handed over a brown envelope to Sarah.

Sarah strode over to Jenny and handed the envelope to her.

Opening the letter, Jenny discovered that it was a contract.

"See I told you Jason. I would get the job."

"Bo Jinyan? This name seems familiar." Jason spotted the name on the signature of the contract.

"It's not good if a policeman like you know people's names. He wouldn't have a criminal history would he?" Jenny inquired.

"Then let me investigate it." Jason replied with seriousness.

"Nah you don't need to. My professor at the university recommended him to me. Bo had just returned from America not long ago. So even if he had a criminal history, its not something that you could find out."

[Flashback 5 years ago]

"Hey there Simon. Looks like we might be meeting again soon....."

The face of Simon's captor appeared in his field of vision.

Horrified, Simon jerked back and soon realised that it was just a dream.

He awoke back in his villa, in the comfort of his study.

Just when that happened, Fu came into the room.

Sitting up straight and holding his head, Mr Fu asked "Did you have that same dream again?"

Professor Bo, being the cold and heartless person he is, replied " Whatever you need to say, just say it."

Scowling, Mr Fu answered "Jenny is going to be working here tomorrow. After I hand the things over to her, I'll be going to Jiang Zhou.

^Jiang Zhou, another province in China^

"The refrigerator has been stocked for you so you wouldn't die. Oh by the way Professor, do you need the translation to be hand written?"

"No need. Type written is fine."

Mr Fu exclaimed with a smirk "Wow I didn't know you gave special attention to women!"

"It's just that her handwriting is bad."

"No wonder. You have high standards you old geezer."

{Main police headquarters}

"Fu Mingyi, 15 years old. His hometown is in Qingjiang Zhen. His parents made him take a winter vacation with his aunt. On the morning of the 6th, he left on bus 9. From then on, he was not seen again." Jason briefed.

"This is the sixth missing person now." A fellow policeman commented. "Are they still not opening the case yet?"

After this comment, many speculations were made as to why the boy went missing.

Jason continued "All the other cases happened in the city as well." "If these are related cases, then we can hypothesize that Fu Mingyi didn't even get off the bus. He went straight to the city."

"All of you. Print his picture and visit all terminal stations that are in that area where he went missing. Let's see if someone remembers him."

{Villa}

For her first day of work, Jenny was given access to anything on the first floor, except for a mysterious room that was locked all the time.

After boiling a kettle of water, she headed back to the living room.

However, after a long time, the locked room at the end of the corridor kept on catching her attention.

Unable to withstand it any longer, she approached the room, only to find a man wearing a biotech suit coming out.

"You should be Professor Bo right?" She asked.

However, Professor Bo did not reply her, as he continued on his way back upstairs.

{Dirt track in the middle of nowhere}

Jason and another policeman got out of the car and surveyed the area, trying to look for possible clues on the mysterious vanishing case.

Jason started visualising the possible actions that the boy could have took.

"Other than those on the public transportation, only the woman who sold drinks nearby remembers."

The boy had bought a drink before heading on his way after all.

Walking further down the track, the other policeman said, "There is nothing in this place except for the villa at the top"

Jason thought to himself, ' Isn't that the villa that Jenny works in?'
