That woman definitely did seem like a foe. she held herself highly. there was no need for a word with this lady to know that she is the boss. “then use your right rightly because you you shouldn’t make enemies without knowing them” she said with every word emphasized. Serena gulped understanding she might have messed with the wrong person. upon realizing the new maid had understood what she meant, a crooked smile formed on her face. “follow me” she said. then, Serena realized she had left behind her luggage. she ran back to the car anxiously thinking that Edward had not taken the car for packing yet. thankfully, Edward was still around. he was standing next to the car while holding his phone to his ear with his back in her direction. she ,didn’t know weather to interrupt or not. she took a breath and reached out her hand to tap his shoulder. he immediately hung up the phone and put it in his pocket and turned around with a broad smile opposing her expectations. “yes Miss Wright?”. he said. “i kind of forgot my bags”. he walked over to the back of the car and got her bags out. her eyes darted to how he was walking past yet she was ready to grip the

bag. he just let a small smile slide off his face. she noticed under the strong jaw line was a soft skin. he didn’t seem to notice that she was staring at him over his small act of kindness. they walked away from the car and towards the white mansion where the lady from earlier was standing. she had worn a lot of makeup and looked like she dressed for meeting. she definitely dint dress to work as a maid. her eyes scanned Serena in all dimensions. Serena let out a small cough upon realizing the stare she was receiving. she turned to Edward and he looked at expecting that she had something to say. “is she always like that?”.

“if what you mean is grumpy?yes always.” he had a little smile lingering at the corner of his lips that Serena couldn’t help take notice of. she just smiled at him. they

started walking in a different direction from earlier. they walked for a short while and finally reached there location . Her eyes dated to her surrounding admiring the beautiful scenery

. A well planed bungalow stood before her. They proceed to enter the house and the interior had no exact theme she was familiar with but it looked beautiful enough for her. Edward had stopped from the entrance and she was now following the makeup freak as she described her. she had a feeling within her that something wasn’t going to be right with this lady before her. she was directed to her new room and surprisingly the room had only three beds and each one of them was well laid. “you will meet your roommates later . its working hours now that’s why no one is around now.” she informed while walking to the wardrobe to show Serena her uniforms. “those things you are wearing aren’t allowed . she said pointing out her out fit with disgust written all over face yet Serena found nothing wrong with her dress in actual reality this was her best outfit. Serena felt the urge to jump on her but being the lady she was trying to be, she calmed down and gave

her best artificial smile. awhile later , after the head maid exited the room she looked at the inviting bed that was looking at her

. finally she gave in..1five minutes only, three more, a couple more , then boom thirty minutes past . Serena jumped out of bed realizing what she what had just done . she ran the bathroom in a rush opening the shower seconds later.A knock at the door was heard and in the next second then the door creaks, her heart beats louder than drums in the carnival festivals.after washing off all the soap off her body she rushed out of the bathroom in a towel with fear written all over her face for fear that she lost her job on the her first day. her dripping wet water flowing down her neck,she tightened the towel around her chest and shamefully started ravaging through the wardrobe .’i thought we were clear about the time line for preparing yourself?’ Serena nodded in agreement. ‘my sincere apologies. i fell asleep due to exhaustion from the trip but please do not worry it will not affect my working i promise am hardworking and efficient so please do not give a negative report about me. please?’. she said

. the head maid looked at her from head to toe then her partially closed on her chest with her left palm resting on her chin she breath out out an amusement sigh then she started clicking her hot red long sharp pointed nails. ‘I’ll think about it if only you prove to me how hard working you are’.she paused and looked at Serena for a brief second

‘but then i don’t ever want to deceive my good boss. you know he is the most generous person i know. i can pardon you for this once i guess, ill live you to dress up’

Serena let out a sigh of relief after the head maid Janice aka currently Dolores Umbridges left. ‘that was close’. right after that she dressed up immediately in her dark blue white spotted dress. looking at her reflection, she felt everything about this was familiar a strong sense of familiarity something about this place feels more than home but there was apart of her that felt unease. why? she herself dint know the reason as to why she felt this way but may be things could get interesting. her eyes faltered to the white curtains covering the window then to the ceiling and suddenly,she realized how big this room was. ‘this people must be filthy rich seriously who gives workers such a place to live in what the hell were they thinking’. her smile suddenly came to a halt when she recalled she had just gotten out of trouble a few minutes ago with the head maid and here she was again trying to fall into her bad side which she felt that she had . she ran out of the room swiftly to the hall way . she found her way though the empty hall to the exit door . when she was finally out after a five minute walk around while drawing to stands every now and then while thinking about her route then finally she found the right one . the patterns of the house dint make sense to her even a bit. after walking for a few more minutes, she finally reached the enormous mansion. something thing within her kept asking why such a place was built in the far parts of the country. her guts told her that something in her memory didn’t fit well. she walked through the back door under the direction of the head maid from earlier. noises of rattling aluminum utensils , continuous movements . everyone seemed to be running to catch the train . the girls carried bowls and different dishes walking hastily in one direction they all seemed to be so focused on what they were doing . no smiles on there faces at all. this got Serena scared for a moment . she had worked in different places and this not how it always worked. in a second being,as she got lost in her own world, the next she knew was some one coming in her direction with a bowl and it all gets splashed down and little bit on her arm. the girl who had split the bowl of soup seemed more scared that anyone else sand suddenly Serena felt a hot burning feeling on her cheek accompanied by a loud sound that sent her falling . her head throbbed with pain looking at the head maid who had just slapped her . she stood up unsteadily.

“do you know the cost of the bowl you broke , can your salary even compensate for it ? Arthur show her the attic i need it cleaned . give her everything she needs. make heist quickly now!” she said her face burning red in fury.

“babe Janice ,stop getting worked up over trivial matters . your becoming too complacent and so not my type” Janice looked at Richard with an irritated face. he had a smirk written all over his face. if he wasn’t the big boss’s brother things would be different, she would be wiping the smile off his face but she kept her face calm and gave him her best smile.

“of course Mr. Hansel,you are right, Mrs.wright , my apolo- gies managing this place takes a toll on one you may help the others arrange the table” Serena stood shocked by the sudden change in attitude. her eyes run to the man who had just saved her his dark eyes looked at her with peculiar interest that made her feel insecure and stripped her plain. she cleared her throat and muttered a low thank you and joined the other maids who were almost done. the only thing that was left was to take thed esert and they would be done . After filling the whole table with different foods that she didn’t know existed. she was getting excited about learning to cook this different dishes and getting to master them being that she had been a master in the kitchen back then she did it for the family and some extra paying gigs that did a lot of help for her and mark after her whole family faded in that incident.

she shook her head trying to brush of the memory of the incident. with her hand firmly gripping the bowl, she picked it up and walked towards the dining room where stood a long table decorated in sliver Grey and white clothing . chairs arrange at the side . the table was beautifully decorated and the food was served in quit expensive utensil. golden cutlery lie next to the dishes. she placed the bowl on the table as her eyes roamed around the place with admiration. she walked into the kitchen again and stood at the sink looking at the heap of utensil. the day had gone so fast , it was already evening and her first day had just past by like that. she the head maid clap and all the maids started stuttering around running to her direction they stood in a line and kept their eyes low. Serena walked and joined them as the head maids eyes pierced through her . “now i expect you all know that our Mistress is coming. we are expecting to be here at dinner. i expect discipline. especially from you Serena” she clapped and everyone dis passed . minutes later, she heard someone walk into the house from the front door with missing steps. she walked over only to see a seventeen year old boy walking in with a smile on his face that beautiful to the sight. he stooped on his tracks and frown upon seeing her. “hi?” while slightly raising his hand,his smile broadening even more as he looked at her. “hello master”. he made a growling sound in response while his face suddenly changed from happy to irritated. “i don’t ever want to here from you. call me Ryan.” she nodded in respond. he walked upstairs. a few more minutes she saw him coming back with someone else . they all seemed happy about something. she moved away from the dining as the head maid came welcoming them.
