Eps. 2 : Attending School~

Basically, in here, school is only attended by the nobles, since it's expensive. Commoners can attend school only if they have scholarship. And me, being a commoner yet smart, I can attend school with Adam! How lovely. I can finally meet with my big brother everyday.

I heard Adam and Raiden are really popular since they're the Crown Prince and the Duke's heir. Not only that, they haven't gotten engaged. Anyways, now in front of me, there lay the so called school. It's like a Palace. It's really big and luxurious.

"Angeline, I can't believe you have a scholarship. I was about to ask father to let you attend school." Adam said while looking at me as he smiled and held my hand.

"The questions were really easy." I replied.

"Adam! Angeline...?" Raiden yelled.

"Hi, Raiden!" I said.

"You're attending school? Haha. Awesome." Raiden walked closer to me and pinched my cheek after that he went beside me and held my left hand.

"What are you doing, Raiden?" Adam asked while glaring at him.

Raiden shrugged and smirked.

People kept staring at us on our way to my class. I know why but I don't want to think about it for now. After we arrived at my class, Adam patted my head and hugged me. While Raiden kept pinching my cheek.

"It's enough, you two!" I yelled while pushing both of them away.

"Bye, Angeline~" Raiden said while being pushed.

"Angeline, how can you push me?" Adam complained.

After that, they finally left and I went to look for a seat. I noticed people glaring at me and cursed under their breath. I guess, I shouldn't get to close with the Duo for now...

The teacher arrived and the class started. It was kind of boring since I studied everything already not to mention that I'm smart. Hehe. I was about to go to the cafeteria when I'm stopped by some students who I didn't know.

"Where are you going?" One of the students asked.

"Where else? Cafeteria of course." I replied.

"You can't go there. Only nobles are allowed." She said while smirking.

"So what? I'm going to the toilet, then."

"You also can't. Because we won't let you." The girl laughed and shoved me inside the class again, I fell and my head hit the edge of the table. I was unconscious after that.

When I woke up, I realized that I'm in the infirmary. I looked down and saw Adam sleeping beside me. After a few seconds, Raiden came in while bringing a soup.

"You woke up! Is your head okay?" He asked while shoving the soup into my mouth.

I nodded.

While Raiden was feeding me, Adam woke up and trust me it was a beautiful sight.

"You've woken up! I was really worried when I heard you passed out. I'm going to teach those people a lesson later." Adam said suddenly while holding my hand.

I glanced at Raiden and saw his lips twitched.

"I'll teach them a lesson too!" Raiden said.

I chuckled and smiled.

"I told you not to do that!" Adam said while suddenly covering my mouth with his hand.

Raiden then pulled Adam's arm and glared at him. I chuckled at the sight of both of them glaring at each other. How childish..

We had a good laugh and chatted all the way until someone suddenly came in. Long brown hair with a beautiful pair of green eyes her tiny face was cute but fierce at the same time. She's definitely Grace, the Heroine.

"Ah, I didn't know there's someone here." She said while smiling at the three of us.

"It's okay. We were just about to leave too." Adam replied back with a smile.

"Aren't you Adam? And you're Raiden, right?" She asked with a cute smile.

"It's not nice to call someone with a higher status by their name only, Miss Grace. Mind your tongue." Raiden replied as he stood up and escorted me out while Adam followed from behind.

Raiden! You can't do that! The Heroine will hate you! Argh. But that's better actually. Then Adam will have a greater chance.

We were about 2-3 steps away from the infirmary when suddenly Grace called Raiden.

"I'm so sorry, Your Highness. This lowly servant deserves to be punished." She said while bowing.

... She isn't the type to do that. She would never apologize like that. She's not even afraid of death. Why would she be afraid of Raiden?

"You don't deserve anything." Raiden replied, not bothering to look at her.

"Let's go, Angeline." He continued as he looked at me and smiled.

"Miss Grace, it would be better if you don't mess with Raiden for now, he's in a bad mood. Don't mind him." Adam said to Grace.

Grace smiled at Adam and went back inside the infirmary. After hearing Adam's words, Raiden's face lighten up and he grinned.

"Minus one to Adam for flirting with someone else~" He teased.

"You're really rude to her, though." I said to Raiden.

Raiden froze at hearing my words while Adam laughed then hugged me.

"You're the best, Angeline!" Adam hugged me tighter and kissed my head.

Raiden was still shocked that he didn't say anything until we reached my class, and it is right before the bell rang. After that, they both rushed to their class.

"Bye, Angeline!" Raiden said as he waved while running.

As usual, people stared at me with eyes full of jealousy. Hah. It's okay, chill out. It's not like we're dating. I mean how can I date the Male Leads? I'm only a mob character just like you all~

"Look at her, ewww... disgusting." Clara, the typical popular, high status, super spoiled, arrogant girl said.

I went with the good old roast.

"But I'm not a mirror."

She froze at my sentence and cursed at me. It looks like the roasts in earth isn't that known here. Cool~

"I'll tell my dad!" She yelled.

"You're useless without you family."

"Well at least I have a nice family, unlike you!"

Well, my mother didn't treat me very well anymore, my father died when I was young to an illness. My family isn't that lovely...

"Hey, I'm just offering, but.. do you want the ability to mind read someone?" Xen suddenly asked.

Xen? Haha. I forgot you were here! I would love to, but isn't it cheating?

"It is, but those girls are b*tches!"

Xen, your presence is enough for me. But if you insist on giving me that ability, I'll happily accept it.

"Then enjoy it~ If you want to read someone's mind, simply smile at them and touch your left ear." Xen said before he left.

"Hahaha! You're speechless now?" Clara asked.

I glanced at her and smiled, after that I touched my left ear.

How can this stupid maid get close to Raiden?! He's supposed to be my fiancee next month, isn't he?! Ugh!!!

I chuckled as I read her mind. Well, Clara is one of the villain in the game.

"No.. It's just.. you're not worth my time." I replied.

How can she-! Ughhhh!!!!!!!! I hope she rots in hell! I'm telling father about this! I, Clara Davez, has been humiliated by a mere maid!

I tried my best not laugh and sat at my seat. Not long after that, the teacher came and class went on without problem. After the class is finished, Raiden and Adam came to my class and waved at me.

Clara stared at me and clenched her fist. This is a problem. Even if I am a mob character, I can still get killed. I have to tell Adam about this bullying. Clara came closer to Raiden and hugged him.

"Babe! You came for me, didn't you?" She asked.

Raiden pushed her away.

"Of course not. Now, get away from me and this class."

Adam then walked over to me and picked me up, while handing my backpack to Raiden who was babbling with Clara.

"Take her bag. Bring it to my carriage, she'll be going back to the mansion with me." Adam said.

Raiden glared at Adam but sighed when he saw me. I'm getting used to Adam picking me up like I'm a baby. I don't have to waste my energy to walk either so it's cool~

"Let's gooooo!" I yelled.

"Wait, didn't your father told you that you have to go to the Palace first?" Raiden asked.

"Ahhh, right. Can Angeline even go with us?" Adam pouted.

Raiden shooked his head and sadly smile at me. Ahh.. Just like in the game, since Grace was only a commoner, the King (Raiden's father) didn't allow their engagement. If I'm not mistaken, Raiden poisoned his own father and then became the King so that he could marry Grace.... That's really terrifying...

"Raiden! Please bring me with you!" I begged with my so so cute puppy eyes while holding his hand, since I knew how much he loved it :3~ Your girl is getting smart, guys~

The purpose of me going with them is to give him good impression of us, commoner, so that he will allow Raiden's marriage with.... Hold on what's the point of me helping Raiden? I should be helping Adam!

"Fine, I will!" Raiden said with a smile on his face.

Oh, shooooot-

Anyways, after I was being forcefully dragged to the carriage, we finally arrived at our destination, the Palace. I take back my words about our school is just like a Palace because this Palace is really bigger than our school. Hahahaha, Awesome!!!!

"The Palace is reaaaaaly big, isn't it, Adam?" I asked.

"It... is."

"Welcome~ Compared to your Vaile Mansion, my Palace is way bigger, right? So what do you say about living here, Angeline?" Raiden asked.

"About that.. I wouldn't want to live here. It's way too luxurious. Besides, I promised Adam that I'll stay with him forever. So I would refuse." I replied with a smile as I noticed Adam's face lighten up.

Adam picked me up and pulled me into a hug. I chuckled and hugged him back. I could see Raiden's lips flinched while his body was freezing.

"So that's why.. You should live with us, Raiden!" I happily said.
