Kai sits in class, staring blankly at the teacher. He looks uninterested in the lesson, his mind elsewhere.

I've always felt like there's something missing in my life. Like I'm just going through the motions.

Kai plays basketball with his best friend, Jax. They're both sweating and laughing, completely in their element.

But when I'm on the court with Jax, everything feels right.
