3: ‘Love, B.K’

“Do you want to hang out?” Akaashi read out loud in a whisper. There was a piece of paper that was attached to his book.

Pathetic

He crumpled the note and tossed it into the nearest trash can.

The note did not have a name so it was meaningless. Though, if it had a name, it would still be meaningless to Akaashi. People have done that to Akaashi for years. Make notes and then get him excited, thinking he had someone to hang out with. He was so used to it that he just threw away the notes.

The next day, there was another note. This time it read, “Why did you throw my note away?:((((. Please don't throw this one away. I really would like to be your friend! Love, B.K”

Akaashi let out a sigh and shoved the note into his pocket. He wondered how this B.K saw him throw the note away since he was alone.

The fact that there were initials gave Akaashi a sense of curiosity. B.K could be multiple people so how would Akaashi know who it was. He did not know anyone’s name for that matter. It was frankly impossible to figure out who the mystery person was.

Like the other note, it was typed out in overly large letters. Three pages. The note was three pages long. For no reason whatsoever.

Maybe it is that weird guy that looks like an owl. No. He’s probably too stupid to even know how to spell. Yet again, owls are deemed to be wise. Huh.

This was very complicated for Akaashi. He ended up not even caring enough to investigate and figure out who it was.

Akaashi closed his eyes as he pulled his satchel bag over his head. He was calm and quiet like usual but he did not feel like usual.

All day, he thought of that owl-looking-boy. He actually disliked him despite constantly thinking of him throughout the day.

He thought Yellow-Eyes was loud and annoying. Plus, his facial expression really bothered Akaashi. Everything was so over dramatic with him and that is the opposite for Akaashi.

Something about Yellow-Eyes made Akaashi interested. Even if Akashi did not enjoy his presence. He just seemed like a person that you think you know but he has hundreds of secrets kept from you. Which made Akaashi raise a brow because everyone he’d seen before was dull or an open book.

It was a lost cause in itself. He did not want friends or talk to anyone. The thought of even befriending that very strange guy, honestly scared Akaashi. He could barely handle “regular people”. How could Akaashi handle someone like Yellow-Eyes?

They were complete opposites. Nothing in common whatsoever.

Akaashi shut his locker and walked outside the building. It was almost late September and the autumn scent was slowly creeping up his nose.

He always cared for Autumn because it meant he could sit inside all day and watch Halloween movies. Normally, he would watch some classics then some that came out in the recent years.

Once he arrived home, he headed straight to his room like he did every day. He took off his uniform and put on a hoodie and sweatpants. He hated his school uniform. He always had to be cautious because it is expensive to replace or get cleaned.

Being a highschool student without a job, that was not something he could afford on his own.
