Chapter 1

Sunday (2:08 PM)

"I'm going out." I said.

"Where are you going?" My mom asked

"I told you. Out."

She sighed "Fine. Just come back early and safe."

I got out and biked till I got in the playground, there were kids playing, Much more kids were here than before but I didn't mind and just sat in one of the swings near the tree.

"Baby let's go over there alright? Let's get away from here." A parent said

"Tsk."

I got my phone and earphones out and started listening to music.

Few minutes later

*Poke poke*

A kid was poking me, I looked at her. She looked so excited.

"Woah! Big sis you look so cool!"

I'm surprised that this kid isn't even scared of me. I'm wearing all black and Looks so gloomy what so cool about this?

"Big sis, you know you dress up like my brother! He said wearing all black is an emo look, but i think it's cool." She's smiling at me and waiting for me to respond.

"You think so?"

"Yup! Oh, Here. Candy."

"Thank you." And I patted her head

"**You're welcome!"

"KAYLA! TIME TO GO HOME!"

"Oh,my Mom's calling me, I'm going home! Bye Big sis! I hope I see you again**!" She waved at me and I wave back at her.

I didn't even realized that I was smiling. I hid the candy inside my pocked and decided to keep it and not eat it. I stood up and biked my way home.

(2:24PM)

"Oh y-you're home earlier than I thought you would be"

"..."

"A-anyways, do you want some snacks?" Mom nervously asked.

"No thanks Mom. I'm going to my room to sleep excuse me."

"O-okay.."

I got the candy and hid it in my drawer beside my bed,Then I took a bath and Slept to lucid dream.

"Oh, Heyyyyy! You're back! Do you have anything to talk about?" - Kaden.

"Nothing much. But, I'm feeling much more alive thank usual."

"Tell me abaout it."

"There was a kid in the park who talked to me. She called me Big sis and Cool. It was heart melting, She's so cute I wanna see her again."

"What's her name?"

"Her name is Kayla from what I heard, She even gave me a candy, I didn't want to eat it, insted I kept it in my Drawer."

"Kayla..?"

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Hm.. Suspicious.."

"HEY!"

"HAHAHHAHAHA"

"Hey Denise, I was thinking."

"What?"

"For our hangout today how about you think we're at the amusement park and ride all the intense rides in there. What do you think?"

"Yea sure that sounds fun. Make sure you don't vomit. Pffft."

"Says you."

"I won't duh."

Few Hours later

.

*Vomits*

"HAHAHAHAH YOU SAID YOU WON'T VOMIT HAHAHAHA"

"Shut up.."

"Oh my gosh I can't breathe. HAHAHAHA"

"Tsk. What time is it?"

"It's 7:43PM."

"I'm gonna eat. See you."

"See 'ya"

I woke up and went to the kitchen.

"Oh, Hi honey, I've prepared us dinner."

"Honey.? You never call me that. You're acting really weird today Mom."

"I- Sorry.. I just wanted to change.."

"After all these years. You decided to do that now?"

"I know I've been a horrible mother, but please give me a second chance."

"..."

"Give me more time honey, I'll proove it to you that I've changed. Okay?"

"I'm sorry I've lost my appetite."

"Denise.."

"I'm going back to my room."

My mom sighed.

"You must've suffered a lot. I'm sorry honey, I couldn't give you my best, But I promise you I'll be the best from now on. Goodnight honey, I love you." My mom said in a worried tone.

I went to my room and tried my best not to cry, but my eyes betrayed me. I cried until I fell asleep.

Next day

I woke up and all my things for school was already prepared.

"Mom's really trying her best to change.." I whispered.

At school:

*Bump*

"Ow."

It doesn't even hurt me, She's being overdramatic. Tsk.
