Episode 5 Fears The Same

Days left before graduation..

"Ava, What wrong with your eyes? Gurl. You look like a panda." said Meili who just arrived in their classroom. "If only you know what had happened." said Ling. "Why? What happened?" she asked. Ling explained to Meili everything. Ava on the other hand, had her head down on her desk looking rather stressed than those graduating seniors who crams to pass their thesis. A few more days left and what she's been fearing is soon to come.

"What?!! The heck that bish! She's lucky to receive just a slap. If I was Ava, I would've pulled her hair and drag her down the first floor and fed her to family of leeches." said Meili, aggravated. "Yeah, that's the same for me. So Ava, You better watch out. Don't let your boyfriend get snatched." said Ling, warning her.

To Ava, the one that bothers her is not his ex. She's confident that Zhang Yi would never cheat oh her. The one that truly bothers her is after Zhang Yi graduates. Ava blamed herself for being young and just a freshman. (" how I wish I'm a little older." ) she thought.

At Seniors Class.

Zhang Yi notice that Ava's phone is on his pocket when it buzzed a text notification. He remembered she forgot her phone earlier on his car when he was parking it and forgot to return it to her before class. He pulled the phone out and saw the pop up messages from various numbers, and dropped the pen he was holding when he accidentally read some of it.

Zhang Yi's face gloomed upon seeing messages from Ava's suitors. He was prepared for it, but did not expect it yet to be this much. Ava's popularity increased when she became a trainee for an entertainment company as a singer and actress. Not a lot knows, but those who knew would start to make a move. And all those messages are proofs of it.

Zhang Yi fears the same as Ava. After he graduates, Ava would have to stay and finish her studies. During those times he realizes that she'll be a lot more mature mentally and physically as time goes by, and become rather attractive. Zhang Yi is confident of her love for him, but he does not trust the people who won't just stop to a simple admiration. With that thought, he released a sigh and made his way to Ava's classroom to return her phone.

Ava just finished their class on the 1st subject and is back again to feeling down, head on her desk. She felt someone sat beside her, not realizing it was Zhang Yi. Ling and Meili was quiet about it and kept the excitement to themselves. *clears throat

"Miss Yang, can I have your number please?" said Zhang Yi pretending to be someone else.

"Sorry, I can't. I have a boyfriend." she answered lazily not looking. Ling and Meili hardly held their laughters while looking at the couple. "Really?.. What's the name of your boyfriend then?" he asked playfully. "He's a Senior Major in engineering, his name is Zhang.." she stopped and look at the person he's talking-to upon hearing a familiar voice. "Senior, it's you.. what are you doing here?" she asked totally amazed. "You left your phone in car so I'm here to give it back.." he explained. "Oh.. is that so?" said Ava looking a bit disappointed. Before she even get to have her phone back, Zhang Yi continued.

"..I'm giving it back, As an excuse to see you. " he whispered. Ava's face turned red and a smile escaped her lips. Apparently, the two heard what Zhang Yi had said, and started to playfully hit each other's shoulder out of excitement. After staying for a few minutes, Zhang Yi left and promised to fetch her after class.

Inside the car.

One hand on a stirring wheel, while the other is helding Ava's hand. he's been throwing her a glance, but Ava seemed a little down lately. She doesn't talk much and is not as jolly as before. Off the road, they heard a loud sound slowly becoming clear as they go near the plaza where a horde of crowd gathers. it was more of a showcase. he noticed that the event near got Ava's attention and is obviously interested on what's going on. He thought ("She might cheer up if I bring there..") without any hesitation he parked the car and removed Ava's seat belt. "huh? What's going on?" asked Ava. "It's still early, should we take a look in there?" he asked. Ava excitedly nod and get off the car almost trippin'. "Careful Ava!" he said reminding her. "I'm okay." she chuckled. "Alright, you may go there first, I'll just buy us a drink" Ava agreed and excitedly ran towards the crowd. Zhang Yi was relieved seeing her cheer up, he knew it was a good Idea.

After parking the car, he went straight to a convinience store nearby and grabbed two bottles of lemonade. He remembered, its her favorite drink so far.

Zhang Yi started to look for Ava among the crowd, but he couldn't find her. He took his phone out and was about to dial her phone. All of a sudden the woman in front caught his attention when she tested the microphone. "*Ehem! Mic test, test." Zhang Yi was surprised, It was Ava. No wonder he couldn't find her among the audiences because she was on the stage all along. "Hello beautiful lady, what is your name?" asked the MC. "My name is.. Ava Yang." she shyly replied. Most of the crowd is already fond of her even before she spoke. Zhang Yi could hear the people complement her cuteness. He couldn't blame them, the woman in front is indeed beautiful, just by standing there she could easily caught everyone's attention and make them admire her just by looking.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this beautiful lady Ava' is about to sing us a song. Let's give her a round of applause!" said the MC. The music played and Ava started humming the melody. It was soothing. Zhang Yi was left astounded. It is a rare sight for him to see Ava singing a song.

He stared at her, senses seemed to focus only on Ava and nothing else. Such a blissful scene of tonight he felt. Ava finally found him by the crowd and stared at him lovingly as she sings the song. Zhang Yi couldn't explain his feelings, all that he knows is that, his heart crazily beats for one person alone.

The song is soon to be over and the crowd seemed to wish for more. Zhang Yi released a great sigh, for a moment he thought of something selfish. He wanted her all by himself, and thought of a asking her question. "When the time has come, If I ask her... Would she marry me?
