The man got off his chair, silencing the whole conference meeting, "I want the whole presentation remade again!" He left barking that statement.

As soon as he left, the employees stretched their arms and sighed in tiredness, "Who pissed in his coffee this early morning?" said Rohit absolutely irritated to remake the presentation again.

Richa sighed,"I swear this is the 5th time this week, and this has been going on for a month now. God knows what changes he needs in the presentation."

"He's lately been too stressed about something and not to be that person but our presentation does actually need a few good final touches, gotta improve on that"

" stressed over? Wdym stressed? He got a gf? Is that why he's stressed lately?", Nila interjected with a hyperactive tensive voice.

"God Nila, your voice is so irritating! And no he doesn't have a gf. Haven't you heard the rumours that he had a lover in the past and it didn't workout " Rohit interluded

"Damn, that girl would be so lucky. He's so handsome. His blue eyes make me super crazy and whenever we make eye contact, i feel like the chords of my heart provide a romantic music." Nila said giggling timidly to which Rohit visibly cringed.

"Enough with this discussion, now let's go we gotta lot to do by the day", Aarav said with authority making everyone disperse.

On the other hand, in a humungous cabin, with the furniture and the theme of the room being all teal, was a huge desk across which sat the Ceo himself, exerting a demeanor which was both hella attractive and dangerous at the same time. His suit hung on the chair behind him, while his sleeves being rolled black, his piercing blueish-green eyes staring or glaring at something unknown. All his focus was elsewhere, all that ran through his mind was her, just her. She was occupied in every brain cell of his which everyday ached to be near her, his thoughts were overclouded with her talks, his heart filled with every image he captured in his eyes, his dreams all just about her, all his fantasies filled with different versions of her that he kept imagining over and over again, till he ran out of ideas, till his thoughts got tired, he's painstakingly waiting to live all those moments, but things weren't going as he planned. He was on the brink of breaking everything apart and have his way with her. He wasn't understanding why she was denying the deal with his company.

He wasn't understanding what did he do that she wasn't even speaking with him.

Immersed in his thoughts, he didn't hear the knock but later was shook by the voice of his assistant, Jyoti, she was 47 year old woman who had been by the Ceo since his starting years ie 10 yrs back.

"Come in"

"Sir, you have an appointment in about 10 mins, should I bring her in?"

"Not today Jyoti, Im pretty occupied atm"

Jyoti nodded and said, " Fine then sir, I'll reschedule the meeting with the Sweet Nothings' owner"

The Ceo nodded absentmindedly, and Jyoti left. After a whole minute, it registered to him that it was "Sweet Nothings" the"Sweet Nothings" "her"Sweet Nothings", it was HER. He abruptly stood up and ran for the door, opening it, he exclaimed "No. No.no. Bring her in now."

Jyoti nodded perplexed, concerned for her sir's sudden change of mind,"You okay sir?" she asked again.

"Yeah I'm okay, send her in about 5."

Saying that he went in.

He sat in his chair, and tried to calm his breaths, placing his tie correctly intact, he fixed his hair and straightened up.

As soon as the door opened, she walked in and sat across him, her eyes still on the file she held as she examined something in the papers, while his eyes were solely set on her finally looking at her properly.

When she finally raised her head to look at him, a gasp left her lips, "Samarthan Dixit"

Aira then connected the dots as to why she felt the name Dixit enterprises oddly familiar, she never knew she would inadvertently cross her paths with him again, she thought he was a close chapter, he was gone, but here he was in front of her and she didn't know what to do.
