Chapter 3

Peace be upon you, my darlings! 😍** I’m back with a new chapter! 🎉 I won’t lie—this one exhausted me 😭, but your support for the earlier chapters keeps me going. 😎😻

Thank you, a thousand times, my loves! 😍😘

**Novel:** *Should I Fight My Husband or the Black Tumor?*

**Genre:** Romance\, Psychological\, Light Action

**And in the name of God\, let’s begin Chapter Three! 👍**

The knife glinted between Riman’s trembling fingers. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she pressed the blade to her left wrist. *"My decision is final... I won’t turn back..."*

Suddenly...

*"Did you forget our promise?"*

She startled at the voice. Fox, the little two-tailed fox, stood on the windowsill, his golden eyes glowing in the dark. He leaped down lightly, his silken tails swaying under the moonlight.

*"You fool!"* he barked in his rough yet warm voice. *"Press the blade harder!"*

*"You want me to hurt myself more?! Is this really pain—"*

*"It’s nutrient plasma\, not blood. It’s the source of our connection."*

He floated into the room like a magic carpet (a clearer simile), his twin tails fluttering.

*"Your face tells me you’re thinking of suicide..."*

*"I won’t run from life\, no matter how cruel it gets. I’ll always face it."*

*"Let me heal you after absorbing the plasma."*

*"Quickly! This hurts so much..."*

He began licking her wound with a sharp glare:

*"Does it really hurt? This is plasma\, not blood!"*

*"It’s my hand! Ah—"*

*"Are you really crying now?"*

*"Don’t look at me..."*

She wept, remembering her mother’s words and her own failures.

She tried wiping her tears in shame, but he beat her to it with his tongue.

*"Don’t cry. I’m here. I know you’re exhausted."*

She laughed weakly:

*"Without you\, I’d have died... that day I saw you when I ran from home..."*

*"I was so tired. I got attacked while out buying food."*

Fox’s inner thoughts: *"I heard her mother’s cruelty... She tries to protect me even from her own pain. Sometimes I wonder if they’re really her family!"*

She curled into herself:

*"Thank God for everything."*

*"Why are you smiling?"*

He laughed sadly: *"You fight so fiercely! You could’ve run."*

She hugged him, giggling:

*"What else can I do? They’re my family."*

*"I’m used to pain... But I promise I won’t give up."*

He asked bitterly: *"Why has your family been so cruel since childhood?"*

She sighed deeply.

Riman noticed her wound had healed as if nothing happened. *"Maybe... I’ve been a failure from the start\,"* she whispered\, crying.

Fox insisted: *"Enough! Now\, shower and rest. I don’t want my meal spoiled."*

But the peace didn’t last. The door slammed open, and Sara appeared, eyes blazing like fire:

*"You worthless trash!"*

Before Riman could react, Sara yanked her hair, dragging her violently to the basement:

*"You’re neither pretty nor smart—and worst of all\, you’re insane! The world doesn’t need scum like you!"*

Every lash of the whip felt like a knife tearing her soul. Then her mother’s voice:

*"Did you discipline her enough\, Sara?"*

Riman’s inner laugh: *"Even my basic rights... you’ve stolen them all."*

*"My hands are tired\, Mom."*

*"Rest\, then finish her punishment later."*

Khaled suddenly appeared: *"Leave her. She’s not worth your effort."*

The mother cooed: *"Of course\, my dear. Anything for you."*

He gave Riman a sorrowful glance.

In the room\, Fox stared at her: *"If you’d used my power—"*

She wiped blood from her brow: *"I’ve sacrificed for them all these years... Let them call me mad. I endured it."*

*"Let me heal your wounds—"*

*"No. I want to remember these scars forever."*

Then she suddenly smiled as if nothing happened:

*"Come on\, Fox! Let’s paint with black ink!"*

*"As you wish\, my lady... But your injuries—"*

*"Fine\, if it’ll calm you."*

She took the pen (Fox) and began drawing. Random strokes transformed into a landscape of her grandmother’s house. For the first time in years, she felt a strange peace.

Inner thoughts: *"Soon... all this suffering will end."* Her eyes burned as she bit her lip until it bled.

Later, her father called:

*"Your father wants you."*

She looked up to see him in the doorway: *"Tomorrow\, you’ll meet your husband."*

She didn’t utter a word, as if despair had strangled her.

After he left, Khaled mocked:

*"Marrying an old man? You’re dumber than I thought!"*

*"I’m tired..."*

*"Tired? You’re pathetic! Didn’t I tell you to run?"*

*"Why did you refuse your friend’s help?"*

She whispered shyly: *"Running isn’t the answer... He’s still my father."*

*"Then stay and die! While everyone exploits your kindness."*

She clenched her jaw, silent rage simmering:

*"Yes\, this isn’t love. It’s slavery."*

*"Sometimes family is worse than monsters."*

*"You’re truly insane! How do you accept this?"*

Up in the attic\, she remembered her only friend: *"How I wish I belonged to your family..."*

Fox murmured: *"Why refuse her help?"*

*"Because I know... Even if the whole world helped\, I’d still be the unwanted daughter."*

*"And I can’t risk them finding out about you. If they knew\, they’d torture you in the worst ways."*

At dawn, as she left in the car, no one bid her farewell. Only Sara sneered:

*"You deserve this. Take care of your old man!"*

Even her mother couldn’t be bothered to see her off.

*"Take me with you."* Fox transformed into a pen.

She clutched him with trembling hands: *"You’re the only one who stood by me..."*

*"Your friend sent a text... She’s waiting for you there."*

*"I know... She tried to help. But I must stay away. I won’t hurt her again."*

As the car drove away, she felt—for the first time—that God had answered her prayers.

But the road ahead would never be easy...

And she had no idea of the monster awaiting her.

**Meanwhile\, elsewhere...**

A colossal explosion ripped through the sky in crimson fury. A smoke plume rose like a ravenous beast devouring everything, while debris scattered like leaves in a storm. Rubble collapsed, fire roared, and death danced atop the ruins.

Then... from the heart of hell, a lone shadow emerged.

Heavy footsteps crunched over the wreckage. A tall man, his black hair wild like a tempestuous night, his golden eyes smoldering with quiet rage—a panther poised to strike. His clothes were untouched, his body unharmed, as if he’d stepped from his house, not a warzone.

He scanned the ruins coldly as carnage settled like a shattered puzzle. With a voice calm yet laced with bitter mockery, he whispered:

*"Annoying... Do they value life so little?"*

Then he walked on, leaving behind untold devastation.

**Thank you again\, my darlings! 😘**

**🇵🇸🤲 Don’t forget—**
