His **golden eyes**\, glowing like a predator’s\, scanned the area cautiously. Beside him\, his younger brother **Nizar** fidgeted\, unnerved by his brother’s intensity.

*"Go ahead inside. I have something to handle\,"* Sajjad murmured\, his voice low but firm.

Nizar nodded and hurried in—but suddenly, a guard’s radio crackled:

*"Exterminate the infected zone! Contain the outbreak! Do you not understand basic protocol?!"*

As Sajjad stepped inside\, **strands of white hair** fluttered past him like a ghost’s touch. He reached out\, but no one was there. A presence lingered. He rubbed his throbbing temple and muttered\, *"Sorry..."*

A shadowy figure snarled\, *"Are you blind?!"*

Sajjad’s golden eyes **flared**. *"I said *sorry*. Are you deaf?!"*

Fatigue weighed on him\, but then—**she appeared.**

### **Riman’s Arrival**

**Riman**\, lost in search of the upper floor\, was ushered into a lavish suite by a maid. Inside\, an **old man** sat regally in an armchair\, a guard standing stiffly beside him.

*"Peace be upon you\,"* Riman greeted respectfully.

The old man nodded. *"And upon you. Come in."*

She perched on the velvet couch as he studied her with wise eyes.

*"Do you know why you’re here?"*

*"Yes\,"* she replied calmly. *"To marry you."*

But **Sajjad**\, still at the window\, **whipped around** at her voice.

*"What?! THIS is the ‘important matter’ you dragged me here for?!"*

The old man chuckled.

*"No\, my dear. You misunderstand. I want you to marry **someone else**."* His smile deepened. *"Someone younger. I’m too old—I have a **grandson**\, you see."*

Sajjad **froze**.

*(…He can’t mean me. That senile fool—)*

But the old man confirmed:

*"My grandson."*

Sajjad’s voice **shook** with disbelief.

*"Did he just say ‘grandson’? That’s **me**!"*

*(Is he **demented**? I’ve **always** refused marriage!)*

Yet Riman only sighed.

*"As you wish... I don’t want to go back anyway."*

Sajjad’s mind raced. *(I’ll reject her now... compensate her later.)*

But when he **fully turned** to face her—**he froze again.**

Something in her features... **familiar**.

A smirk tugged at his lips.

*(Well\, well. She came to me **herself**.)*

Then—**he aimed his gun at Riman.**
