She Went Missing!

That night Lucy received a call from Sanaya. Lucy picked it up though she was not interested in her stupid talks and investigations. But only words she heard were,

"Help..  Lucy.. Help me..it's !"

The words were cut off by the shattering sound of glass. The connection was lost already. After that Lucy impatiently tried to call her again and again but the phone was out of reach for some reason.Lucy called Alexa and a few friends to know if they had any connection with Sanaya. But they replied the same,

"Sorry, we can't reach her phone right now."

Lucy decided to visit  Sanaya's home at the morning. She is even tried to call Sanaya's parents, but she was unable to find their number on her phone although she had remembered saving them before. So the only option left for her was to wait for the dawn.

       Nothing good happened in the morning also. The news send a chill down her spine. The reporter said,

"A girl called Sanaya Williams suddenly went missing yesterday, han window was broken... The police is investigating and we hope that the criminal would be caught as soon as possible.

"No" Lucy's cup fell on the ground slipping from her hands. The shattering sound echoed through the rooms of the silent house. Lucy thought that it was always Sanaya ,she was the target of the stalker. That's why she had seen someone at  Lucy's window.   She blamed herself for Sanaya's disappearing.

"I should have done something. Sanaya would not suffer this... she would not have suffered any of these, if I had done something about it earlier..I could have saved her because I have known it already, right?"

          Lucy was expecting the police to interrogate her as she was the last person Sanaya called before the incident. She was very scared too. But the police never showed up at her door.

By the afternoon she came to know that the police didn't find Sanaya's phone on her house.

"The criminal must have taken it with him. He is really smart!"

Lucy's head was almost spinning as she was unable to relate the informations and find a conclusion.

Soon enough she heard her doorbell, it was Yuki.

He had never visited her before like that. Show Lucy ran down to open the door. He came inside and asked the Lucy if she was alright. She replied impatiently that she was fine ,she explain the situation to him honestly and told him about the last talks with Sanaya. Yuki looked down and replied,

"Please don't blame yourself for anything. Let's hope that the police will find her very soon and she will be alright."

Before going out he added,"Lucy! you should also be careful, the criminal must have found your number and contact informations on her phone though I don't think he or she will try to harm you anyway. But please be alert and call us for any kind of help, ok ?"

Lucy nodded and waved at him. Mixed emotions filled up her mind,the death of the dog after being hurt, the kidnapping of a friend.... everything seemed to be planned and related to her somehow. Lucy shook  her head slightly and closed the door behind her.

           Two days had passed, the police  was still unable to find any information about Sanaya. The news about the kidnapping of a school girl was spread like wildfire. Lucy turned off the TV and stood up.She went to the store to buy some chips ,juices and returned home after a while.

She laid down on the sofa and tried to get some sleep, but due to some disturbance of her mind she couldn't sleep at all and decided to write down something on her diary. Lucy went to her bedroom and searched for her diary. Lucy tried to find it on her bed table where she always kept it. But it was nowhere to be found. Look for it in the closet, bed and even under the bed.After one hour of searching or so she eventually gave up and went down to watch TV or get some food.

There was nothing better than sleeping for her, so Lucy went to bed early.She removed the curtains to look if Mrs Groan had returned but her lights were still turned off and it seemed like a dark haunted House. She pulled back the curtains and try to sleep while looking at her phone.

Suddenly the phone rang up,

"Hello" She Said,

"Yeah! I am Yuki, are you doing well?"

Lucy replied,"oh yes... I am fine, thanks for your concern."

They talked a little and Lucy was also relaxed after the call, even though upto a certain level.

She tried to find her diary once again in the morning. She was afraid that it was perhaps taken by her friend Sanaya. She has written about her every single thought, desire and fantasy on it. Her every source of happiness, every single madness, har hidden anger and much more was written down on it. But in the end she still gave up on it.

Lucy's mother called her asking whether she was alright as she heard the news about Sanaya. Lucy told her mother that she was fine although she was feeling uneasy. Lucy would have gone to her original home if she could.But her house was actually far away from the town and she didn't want to make her parents worried about her anymore.

Lucy picked up a book and started reading the story but she couldn't focus on it and went out to get some fresh air. With the blowing wind a mild song of birds was heard at distance. She observed the people walking on the road.Among the people she saw a familiar face approaching her. It was their students Council president, Lucifer, a very reserved and talented boy in the school .He greeted her with a smile,

"Miss Lucy, so you live here?"

She replied," Yes president .where are you heading to?"

Lucifer showed her some papers and replied,

" I was just distributing some project papers for the students. Its from Mrs Smith."

Lucy accepted the papers and smiled back "Ok, please come in if you don't mind."

Lucifer always had a cute smile on his face, so he didn't reply and just came inside following her. Lucy offered him a glass of juice and thanked him for bringing the project papers. He talked a little bit and said,

"Miss  Lucy,  I heard about your friends Sanaya. We are informing the police, so please be careful about everything.If anything happens you can also call me; after all it's our responsibility to protect all the students of our school. Do you have my contact number?"

Lucy tried to smile,

" No ..no ,it's fine. I am alright and I think I don't have your contact information ....but maybe I would be able to find it on the school group later."

Lucifer interrupted her,"Lucy ,please give me your phone if you don't mind."

Lucy handed him her mobile phone and he quickly saved his number on it. I returned it to her and stood up,

" Miss Lucy ,call us for any kind of help okay?"

Lucy was a bit confused . It was her first time meeting the school president in person though he was a student in her own class.

"He seems to be quite serious about his works!" She thought.
