Agatha's Point of View

“So that's it huh? You will really put me in this hospital?” I crossed my arms and looked outside the window. I just stared at the sky as I always do whenever I feel like I'm about to explode in resentment. I took a deep breath and stared at myself, that's it Agatha, don't cry Agatha, don't cry.

“Baby, it would be better if you stay here. Doctors will watch over you. You know your condition right?” Mommy insisted but I just sighed.

Yes, my condition is strange because I suddenly fall asleep wherever or whatever I do. Yes, I sleep much longer than a normal person would. I get it, I'm not a normal 16 year-old girl but I'm 200% sure that I'm not sick. I'm not dying. I just can't control myself.

Well that's how feel every damn day.

“Mom what I need to feel better is a normal life. I want to go to school and have friends. Is it too much to ask?” I said while not facing her. I feel like anytime my tears will fall.

“I love you Agatha. We'll visit you every week. Take care of yourself.” I heard the trembling on her voice as if she was really crying. I just closed my eyes when I felt she hugged me tight. She kissed my cheek and after that, she quickly came out and didn't look back.

I guess that's the best way to say goodbye, that was even better because I wouldn't see her crying anymore. She loves me, my whole family loves me… I know they just stay away because they know at any time I can disappear.... from this world.

I sighed again and just lay down on the bed and put my earphones on.

I just closed my eyes while listening on the song. I feel like, anytime I'll fell asleep in this bed, it's a good thing that the mattress that my Mom and Dad brought for me is soft. So I can sleep better.

Wait. What's that? Why do I seem to feel something breathing near in my beautiful face?

Damn it! I don't think I locked the door.

I opened my beautiful eyes to see if anyone was there and I was shocked when a man's face startled me. Our face are so close to each other and I can almost feel his breath on my beautiful face. I can't stop screaming when his eyes glazed at me. OMG!! RAPIST!!

“Who are you?! What are you doing here?!” I quickly pushed him away and I picked the broom on the floor. I was about to strike him with the broom but he ran away so quick.

“Weirdo!!” I shouted and quickly locked the door.

Base on his clothes, I can say that he is also a patient here. On the bright side, his black beanie makes him kinda cute— kinda I think?

It's bad enough that I'll be staying in this hospital then now I will have to put up with the weirdos here again. But, if that man try to enter my room one more time, I'm gonna kick him down there.

I just sighed and look at my blank room. The faded yellow walls are lifeless, no designs, and all I have here are curtains and bed. Wow! My life officially sucked more than it ever sucked.

Wait. Have I mention that my life sucks?

Nah, my life will forever suck.

Suddenly I heard the knock on the door so I quickly picked up the broom on the floor. Does he want to die?!

“Agatha? Open the door.” I heard an old man's voice from outside. Wait. How did he know my name?

I opened the door slightly, and there, I saw the nurse, is his name Leonardo? L— Ugh! I can't remember.

“There's a policy that you can't lock your door.” He said with a smile. “Im Leo, I'm the head nurse here.” Hmm, he looks kind, and friendly? I hope so. While looking at him, I didn't notice that I'm staring at him so long.

“Agatha?” He called me, and my senses comeback.

“A-ah— sorry I was just—” I heard him chuckled.

“Sorry HAHA” What's wrong with this guy?
