His Rain , Her Ruin
🖤 Episode 1: The Beginning of Something Dangerous 🖤
The sky in Istanbul turned orange as the sun started to set. The big city looked beautiful, but deep inside it was full of secrets and danger. In the heart of the city lived a man named Baran Kaya—rich, powerful, feared by many. He wasn’t just any man. He was cold, serious, and deadly. His dark eyes never showed emotion. People said he had no heart, and maybe they were right. After his mother died and his father betrayed him, Baran stopped trusting anyone. Love? Feelings? He didn’t believe in those.
Far away in Delhi, India, a 17-year-old girl named Shruti was living a completely different life. She looked like a simple teenager, but her story was not simple at all. She had beautiful soft skin, big eyes, long black hair, and a natural charm that made people look twice.
Shruti’s family looked normal from the outside. Her younger brother Ishaan was just one year younger than her. He was caring and protective, but they fought a lot—like all siblings. What people didn’t know was that Shruti and Ishaan had a big secret. A few years ago, they found out their mother was cheating on their father. Since then, everything had changed. The two siblings had become close, helping each other survive the pain.
That evening, Shruti was sitting in her favorite café in Delhi, drinking her usual hazelnut coffee. Her best friend Mehak, a pretty and stylish girl, was talking about boys. Shruti smiled but wasn’t really listening. Her phone buzzed—it was a message from Zoya, her close friend who had recently been heartbroken by a boy. Zoya had been cheated on, and Shruti knew how that felt.
“I feel like running away sometimes,” Shruti whispered to herself.
At the same time in Istanbul, Baran stood on the top floor of his tall building, looking at the city lights. A man who had betrayed him had just been punished. Baran’s men had thrown him into the river. That’s how things worked in his world. “Mercy is weakness,” Baran said quietly, cleaning a drop of blood from his white shirt.
Back in Delhi, Shruti got a wedding invitation. Her cousin was getting married in Istanbul.
“I don’t want to go. What’s the point of these destination weddings?” she said, rolling her eyes.
But fate had other plans.
One week later, Shruti stepped into Istanbul airport. She wore high-waist jeans, a cute black crop top, and a leather jacket. Her hair was open, and she looked stunning. Many boys looked at her, but one pair of eyes didn’t just look. They watched her closely from a black car parked outside the airport.
It was Baran.
From behind his tinted glass window, he stared at her like he had seen a ghost from his past—or maybe a spark from his future.
“She’s... different,” he muttered under his breath.
