The Scent of You

The Scent of You

Red Light

Introduction

Juno.

Juno is a man who seems to have everything the world can offer—fame that echoes across continents, a voice that lingers in people’s hearts long after the music stops, and a face so striking it feels almost unreal. Every step he takes is followed by flashing cameras and admiring whispers. To millions, he is perfection personified.

But perfection is an illusion. Beneath the carefully crafted image lies a truth Juno refuses to face—a single night, blurred by alcohol and regret, when he is manipulated into crossing a line he wishes never existed. It is a memory he buries deep, a wound he doesn’t dare to touch, because even he cannot forgive himself for it.

So he keeps smiling for the cameras, keeps singing for the crowds, living a life that glitters on the surface but feels hollow underneath.

Until the day he sees her.

Yunji.

In another corner of the world—one Juno has never truly touched—lives Yunji. She is ordinary in every way that matters, her life stitched together with small, simple moments. Her parents own a modest flower shop tucked away in a quiet alley, and she spends her days helping them or attending classes.

They don’t have much, but they have enough, and Yunji never wishes for more. She finds beauty in ordinary things, content in the life she has, even if the world barely notices her existence.

If Juno’s life is a stage bathed in endless light, Yunji’s is a quiet, sunlit room filled with the faint scent of flowers—unremarkable to anyone but her.

Two people from worlds so far apart they might as well belong to different realities. Yet fate is already weaving their stories together.

(Ep 1 )

A luxury car stops at a traffic light. Juno sits silently in the back seat, scrolling through his phone, his face blank as usual. Outside, people rush by. His eyes wander lazily until they fall on her—Yunji, waiting at the bus stop, adjusting her messy ponytail, holding a small bouquet in one hand. She checks her phone, completely unaware of anyone watching her.

For a second, Juno’s gaze lingers. She’s… ordinary. No expensive clothes, no makeup—just someone quietly existing. But that simple calmness feels strangely comforting to him.

The light turns green. The car moves. Juno doesn’t realize he’s still looking until the view disappears. He exhales, leaning back, expression unreadable.

[The Same Road, Two Days Later]

The same red light. Juno glances outside again, almost unconsciously. She’s there, same time, waiting for the bus. His phone rests forgotten in his hand. The car moves again, and Juno closes his eyes briefly, taking a deep breath before leaning back against the seat.

[ At Apartment | Night]

Juno sits on his sofa, scrolling through his phone, but his mind keeps replaying her image. He shakes his head, almost annoyed with himself.

Juno (thinking):

“What am I even doing…?”

His phone buzzes—Min calling.

Min (grinning through the screen):

“You look bored as hell. Want me to cheer you up?”

Juno:

“Not interested.”

Min:

“Too bad. I’m sending you something anyway.”

Min flips his camera, showing a small flower shop tucked in a quiet alley. Bright sunflowers by the entrance, a cozy, old-fashioned sign. A girl’s soft laugh can be faintly heard in the background, though Min isn’t showing her face.

Min:

“Came here to get flowers for my mom. Nice little place. Feels peaceful… not your type, though.”

Juno's eyes narrow slightly, but he stays quiet.

Min (teasing):

“Want me to bring you flowers too, superstar?”

Juno (flatly):

“Just send me the shop’s address.”

Min (raising a brow):

“…Why?”

Juno:

“Because I said so.”

Min shrugs, sending the location.

[Flower Shop | First Visit]

The next evening, Juno walks into the flower shop, wearing a cap and mask. The cozy smell of fresh flowers fills the air. His eyes scan the place quickly, but… she isn’t there.

Behind the counter, an older woman—Yunji’s mother—looks up with a polite smile.

Yunji Mother:

“Welcome! Looking for anything specific?”

Juno (after a pause):

“…Tulips. Yellow.”

She nods, wrapping the flowers while Juno’s gaze unconsciously drifts to the shop’s small details—the scattered books on a chair, a half-tied ribbon on the table, a water bottle with a girl’s handwriting on it. Signs of her. But still… she’s not here.

He takes the tulips, gives a small bow, and leaves, a hint of disappointment in his eyes.

[The Second Visit | Evening]

The door chimes softly as Juno enters again, hoping this time she’s there. But again—only her mother behind the counter.

Yunji’s Mother (cheerful):

“Back again? You must really love flowers!”

Juno gives a faint polite nod, buying more tulips he doesn’t need. As he turns to leave, the door opens suddenly. A girl rushes in, slightly out of breath, hair a little messy from the wind—Yunji.

Juno pauses, his hand tightening slightly around the flower wrapping as he turns back, watching her. She doesn’t notice him at first, apologizing to her mom for being late.

For the first time in a long while, Juno feels his heart skip slightly. He lowers his gaze before anyone notices, quietly leaving the shop, but there’s the faintest softness in his eyes now.

Juno’s Car | Night

Juno sits in the car, the flowers beside him, staring out at the passing city lights. For once, he’s not scrolling his phone, not reading messages. Just
