[Flower Shop | Late Evening | A Few Days Later]
The shop is empty, the soft light from the counter reflecting off the glass. Yunji is wiping the table when Juno walks in. There’s no one else around. His mask is off this time, his expression calm but serious.
Yunji (slightly awkward):
“You… came again.”
Juno steps closer, setting a bouquet on the counter, his eyes fixed on her.
Juno (quietly):
“I want to say something before I leave today.”
Yunji straightens, sensing the seriousness in his tone.
Yunji:
“What is it?”
Juno takes a slow breath, his voice steady but soft.
Juno:
“I like you.”
Yunji freezes, her eyes widening.
Juno:
“I’ve liked you since the first time I saw you. I know it’s sudden, and I know… I live in a world very different from yours. But I had to tell you.”
Yunji struggles to find words, still processing. Juno watches her reaction carefully before continuing, his tone softer now:
Juno:
“I don’t expect an answer now. Take your time. I’ll wait… no matter how long it takes.”
He gives her one last look, then turns to leave. Yunji stands still, her heart racing, staring after him as the door slowly closes.
[Yunji’s Room | Night]
Yunji sits on her small bed, hugging a pillow, her mind racing with his words. Her room is quiet except for the ticking clock. She glances at her phone—several missed calls from her friends, but she ignores them, whispering to herself:
Yunji (muttering):
“…He likes me? Juno… likes me?”
Her heart beats faster, but there’s also hesitation in her eyes.
[Flower Shop | A Few Days Later | The Answer]
Juno walks in quietly, his usual mask back on. Yunji looks up from the counter, nervous but determined. She steps closer before he can say anything.
Yunji (softly, but firmly):
“I… like you too.”
Juno stops, his eyes widening slightly, as if he didn’t expect her to answer so soon. Yunji continues, her voice trembling a little:
Yunji:
“I was scared at first. Your life is… so different from mine. But I can’t ignore how I feel. So… yes.”
For the first time, Juno smiles genuinely, a small but warm smile that softens his whole face. He steps closer, lowering his voice.
Juno:
“Then… it’s official now.”
Yunji smiles shyly, nodding. The moment feels quiet but deeply intimate.
[Yunji’s Room | Night | Their First Private Time Together]
The camera pans to Yunji’s small, cozy bedroom. Juno sits on the floor, leaning against her bed, looking around curiously. Everything feels different from his luxurious life—small shelves filled with books, a cheap flower-patterned curtain, a little desk with her college notes scattered. He touches a soft pillow, smiling faintly.
Juno (softly):
“This… feels nice. It’s warm here.”
Yunji sits on the bed, watching him nervously.
Yunji:
“You’re probably used to better places… big rooms, expensive things…”
Juno (looking at her):
“I don’t care about any of that. I like this because it’s yours.”
Yunji blushes, looking down. Juno watches her for a moment before pulling out a small shopping bag from beside him.
Juno:
“I got you something.”
Yunji’s eyes widen as he takes out a beautiful designer dress.
Yunji (shaking her head quickly):
“Juno, no… I can’t take this. It’s too expensive.”
Juno (gently):
“You deserve it.”
Yunji pushes it back, shaking her head again.
Yunji:
“I don’t want you to keep buying me things like this. I… can’t give you anything like that in return.”
Juno smiles faintly, his voice soft but firm:
Juno:
“I’m not asking for anything back. I just want to see you happy.”
Yunji looks at him, torn, but Juno gently sets the bag beside her and doesn’t push further.
[The Watch Incident | Later That Week]
Yunji sits at her desk scrolling through her phone. A picture of a luxury watch pops up, and she stares at it for a long moment, her eyes reflecting quiet admiration. She doesn’t realize Juno is watching her from across the room.
The next day, Juno walks into her room, handing her a box. Yunji opens it, her eyes widening in shock—it’s the same watch.
Yunji (stunned):
“Juno… No, I can’t—this is too much!”
Juno smiles faintly, taking her wrist and gently placing the watch on her hand before she can refuse.
Juno:
“Now it’s yours. No arguments.”
Yunji stares at the watch, then at him, torn between happiness and guilt. Juno, however, only looks at her softly, clearly happier seeing her reaction than she is getting the gift.
Juno sits on her bed later that evening, secretly taking a picture of her when she laughs at something on her phone. His phone gallery is filled with her photos—smiling, arranging flowers, reading… moments he can never share publicly but treasures quietly. Yunji notices him pointing the phone at her and frowns playfully.
Yunji:
“Are you taking pictures of me again?”
Juno (smirking faintly):
“Yeah. You’re my favorite picture.”
Yunji blushes, turning away, and Juno keeps smiling softly, his eyes warm.
