My “tour” with Nick

I look down at my shaking hands wondering (what’s gonna happen next). “Come on, we don’t got all day” Nicholas says irritated. I look up and see that he’s staring at me with his blues eyes angrily. (He probably doesn’t want to take a stupid new girl that’s not rich around the campus) I think to myself as I slowly get up from the comfy chair that I was occupying. “ok” I reply in an unhappy and sad voice as if I’m being he’s prisoner. Nick scoffs and begins walking fast as I walk behind him head down wondering (Why is this Nicholas so mean. Who died and made him king grumpy). We walked for hours until we entered a huge room with MANY kitchens and tables with people sitting down eating. “Wait here I need to go talk to someone for a minute” he left walking towards a group of guys you had a seat saved for him with some fancy food on a tray. I watched him eat the food slowly like nothing else mattered in the world! ( How rude can this guy even get ).

I waited for 3 MINUTES before giving up. I walk toward a different table that has no one sitting there and there was no sign of someone reserving the table. As I sit down to rest Nicholas walks towards me with his tray with the food all gone. “ I told you to wait there! “ he exclaimed in an unhappy manner. I hate to cause trouble but I wasn’t gonna stand there or in this case sit there and not stand up for myself, so I get up from the table stare at him for a few seconds then I,..... “ Well, what do you expect that I can stand still for a long period of time. You’re supposed to take me around on a tour. A tour to get to know my way around this HUGE campus. And I’m so sorry that I’m new and don’t know anything about the structure or what different room are used for. I thank you for showing me the cafeteria, but you could have invited me to come sit with you. Or even shown me a place to where I could sit while you mingle. So NO I am not going to stand still for a jerk like you whom is a fake at even being nice to his elders.” I kinda made a scene. I walk out of the cafeteria calmly and start wondering around the campus by myself. (How dare he have the audacity to tell me to stand while he eats with his friends and as soon as I sit down he wants me to stand up so he could probably get more food and talk with his friends more. how dare-) “um excuse me?” I hear a girl asking me. I turn around almost falling over with shock. She is soo pretty with long dark purple hair, probably a brand new uniform as well, and black eyes like the universe. She was the best and prettiest thing I have seen all day. “Ummm...... hi ..... can I-I h-help you?” I ask stuttering. “ Hi, my name is Elizabeth, it’s nice to meet you? I can tell that you must be new to the school.” She says like an angle that happened to bless me with her presence. “Yes, I am. My name is Lucy. It’s nice to meet you too!” I reply just as nice and kind as she did. She begins showing my some of the more famous classes that most students take, The gymnasium, All of the different types of sport courts, the secretary’s office, All of the clubs and what they are all about, until finally we returned 45 minutes later to the principals office. During our walk/tour we talked about the school, what the clubs are like and where they are, how the sports work and how to get into them if I so desired, and mostly explaining everything to me. She was so nice I can’t imagine if she wasn’t the campus bell! I knock lightly on the door to the principals office which is not so loud and full of conversation. I hear the footsteps getting louder as I patiently wait until CREAK the door opens. The man I saw earlier with Nicholas comes out. The room at which I could barely see was bland and my dad was sitting in a comfy chair. “ Ahhh, hello Miss. Lucy. How was your tour with our amazing-“ he looks behind me to find that Elizabeth is behind me. He starts looking rapidly around the room. “ Did he ditch you Miss. Lucy. I should have had Elizabeth been your tour guide in the first place.” He said maybe about to say all the terrible things that Nicholas has done, but I interrupted him. “Actually I ditched him. Long story short he told me to stand still and wait for him while he ate his lunch with his friend after 3 minutes I had enough and sat down. When I sat down he came over to the table and asked me rudely why I wasn’t waiting and I told him why.” I finished the story leaving the principal breathless with his mouth open. “Sir, you really need to find a way to punish him properly or else he’ll never learn!” As I said this I closed my mouth immediately regretting what I had just said. I could feel the embarrassment flowing in as Elizabeth and the principal stared at me with there mouth hanging almost to the floor. “Sorry, sir.” I said to make it feel less awkward. “It’s fine why don’t you come in Miss. Lucy. Thank you Miss. Elizabeth for taking Miss. Lucy around the school with proper explanations to everything.” I walked past him see my dad smiling and giving me the thumbs up as I sat in the seat beside him. The principal closed the door as Elizabeth walked away. “All right lets get you your new school books for your classes and your school schedule.” He handed me about 10 heavy books. The top book was named “Rule Book for Elwood High School”. On top of that book he put a 5 page packet that said “Schedule”. I looked at the principal and a huge smile grew on my face. (I can’t wait. ELWOOD HIGH HERE I COME!!!) I scream in my thoughts unknowingly
