In a small bedroom, a girl was leaning against head of bed, starring in daze. She was Shen Siyu, who had traveled to 1969 from 2024.

Shen Siyu was an excellent public relation(PR) agent, with strong ability to manipulate people’s view and influence their thinking. Additionally, she was also a famous writer for her suspense and thriller novels.

However, she was a loner. Meaning till the age of 28, she was alone, no family, no friend, no boyfriend. Since she could remember, she was an orphan. It’s not that she did not want friends, it’s just that she don’t know how to express herself. People often found her boring due to her introvert personality. Later, she became successful in her career, people became fearful of her and saw her as an unattainable immortal.

The girl is also named Shen Siyu. She is 17 years old, turning 18 in two weeks an also a high school student. She is eldest granddaughter of Shen family. Shen family is top family in City Pengying. Shen family is lead by Old Master Shen and his wife, Old Madam Shen. They have three sons and one daughter. 1st son, Shen Jian, has two sons and one daughter in middle which is Shen Siyu. He has an important position in military. 2nd son, Shen Cheng has one daughter and one son. He is city mayor. 3rd son, Shen Bolin, has three sons and he is in politics.

Last Shen Fan, only daughter of Old Master Shen, married a soldier. However, he passed away on a mission. Shen Fan could not bear it and soon followed her husband leaving her only daughter Bai Yuxi. Because Bai Yuxi’s paternal family was poor and Old couple were afraid of her suffering for being orphan in poor village, they bought her to live with Shen family.

That was the time Shen Siyu’s misfortune begin. As Bai Yuxi’s parents passed away after 17 days of Shen Siyu’s 8th birthday, Old couple forbid from celebrating Shen Siyu’s all next birthdays. All in family took care of Bai Yuxi and would let her have her way, let her choose first and only go with her suggestions. If Shen Siyu scored high marks than Bai Yuxi, then Old Madam will scold her(SSY) and say that she is showing off and making Bai Yuxi feel inferior. If Shen Siyu deliberately scored less marks, then Old Madam will say that she is wasting family’s money and should learn from Bai Yuxi. No matter what, Bai Yuxi will be praised and Shen Siyu will be scolded.

Now what happened was that yesterday, Shen Siyu asked her grandfather to permit her to invite her friends to celebrate her birthday as this is her last year in school. It don’t have to be grand, just simple dinner is fine too. However, Old Master Shen refused saying that what needs to be celebrated. It’s not these studies will be of any help. In the end, she needs to be married off. Shen Siyu was angry and disappointed and said that she will kneel until he agree. So, she keeled from morning to night with eating or drinking. In the end, she fainted and was carried to her bed by maid.

And when she woke up, souls were changed.Shen Siyu was hungry and in pain. She looked towards window and saw that it was almost time for breakfast. So she went to bathroom, took a good bath and changed to comfortable clothes. And headed down for breakfast.

By time she arrived, almost everyone was there. She silently went to farthest seat and sat. After breakfast was served, she started to eating without waiting for head to start. Old Master and Madam were displeased. Old Madam said, “ Don’t you know how to wait for elder to start before eating yourself? Where are your manners?” However, Shen Siyu continued to silently eat.

Band!!

Old Mater put the chopstick on table with a loud band. Showing his displeasure and anger. Everyone looked at Shen Siyu who was not slightest bit affected.

“Take away her dishes”, commanded Old Master in his authoritative way. Maid quickly took away the dishes leaving only chopstick in Shen Siyu’s hand. First, she put them down and finally looked at Old Master. He had fought in real and killed many people, thus has terrifying aura. Now that he was looking at her angrily, everyone has serious expression. As for Shen Siyu, she simply stood up and went back to her room.

Bai Yuxi said, “Grandfather don’t be angry. Sister must be upset with yesterday’s matter. She will be fine in some days.”

“Only if she was as understanding as you. Look at her temper.”, replied Old Madam.

“Let’s eat”, said Old Master.

Just as they were in middle of eating, Shen Siyu came downstairs, but instead of going towards dinning table, she went straight to main door, indicating she is going outside.

Shen Jian, her father, asked, “Siyu, where are you going? And why you did not change in school dress? You will be late.”

Shen Siyu was going to ignore first but turned around, looked at Old Master and said, “Since I am not allowed to eat here, I need to go somewhere I can eat. As for school, You can simply get my name drop out as it is waste of money to let me study. I am sure you can recovery a lot of money from school as there is still one full semester and one half semester left.”

Yeah, it was only two months since new academic year stated. After announcing this, she went out ignoring all questions raised behind her.

Whole family was shocked as they know how much she love studying and even want to go abroad.

But now she said, she don’t want to go to school. How is this possible?
