[Authors note]
Hey everyone it's me Chasey again. I hope you like the first scene i made a week ago.
I still can't believe that over 100 people saw my work and one of them actually left a comment and a like thank you.
I know it is a small number but to me it felt amazing that even if my work got saw by that many people online.
My goal is to submit every scene of each episode everyday one episode has five scenes or more.
I am in Junior High right now so i may have some trouble posting my work and may be late. Thanks for reading !
[Scene two]
The Nublar Six — plus one newly arrived sister — step out into the open. The forest is still shaking faintly, birds scattering from the treetops. Smoke curls up from beyond the ridge.
KENJI
Yup. Definitely not thunder.
SAMMY (squints)
Looks like somethin’ crashed.
BROOKLYN (raising her camera)
If that’s another dino transport gone rogue, this video’s getting a million views.
YAZ (snatching the camera down)
Brooklyn, maybe don’t announce our location to the internet this time?
BROOKLYN (pouts)
I wasn’t streaming live! …yet.
DARIUS (already grabbing his backpack)
It’s coming from the old access trail. We should check it out — carefully.
BEN (hesitant)
You mean walk toward the smoke? Have we not learned—
BRIELLE (cutting him off)
If it’s something dangerous, better we know before it finds us.
KENJI (mutters to Sammy)
Yup. Definitely Ben’s sister.
SAMMY (snickers)
All brave, zero pause button.
The group begins moving through the forest, pushing aside ferns and branches. The ground smells faintly of burning metal.
BROOKLYN (low voice)
You feel that? Like… static?
DARIUS (nodding)
Yeah. There’s an energy discharge nearby — maybe a generator or containment field.
They emerge into a small clearing… and freeze.
[CAMERA PAN]
A small hover transport, sleek and silver, lies half-buried in the dirt. Marked on the side:
L.I.V.E. — Laboratory of Intelligent Veterinary Engineering
YAZ
I’m sorry — “veterinary”? Since when do vets need hover crafts?
KENJI
Maybe for really, really big patients.
DARIUS (inspecting)
These markings… I’ve never seen tech like this before.
Bri kneels beside a cracked panel, her fingers tracing strange glowing circuitry.
BRIELLE
This isn’t standard power tech. It’s hybrid — AI-coded with… biological sensors?
BEN (blinks)
English, please?
BRIELLE (snorts)
It’s alive. Kind of.
SAMMY
Hold up — the machine is alive?
Before anyone can answer, a low growl rumbles through the trees. Everyone freezes.
YAZ
Tell me that’s not—
A massive raptor-like silhouette appears through the smoke. Its skin shimmers slightly — scales flickering with biotech veins.
BROOKLYN (whispering)
Okay, I take it back. Don’t film this.
DARIUS (gripping a tranquilizer rifle)
Back up. Slow. No sudden moves.
The creature sniffs the air, confused but agitated. Bri doesn’t move — her eyes locked on it, calculating.
BEN (quietly panicking)
Bri, what are you doing?!
BRIELLE (calmly)
Its pupils are dilated. The light frequency’s confusing it.
She pulls off one glove, takes a deep breath, and slowly taps a few keys on the panel. The tech’s hum drops in pitch. The raptor blinks… and suddenly relaxes, lowering its head.
The others stare, stunned.
KENJI
Okay… did she just hack a dinosaur?
BRIELLE (standing, brushing off hands)
Not exactly. I just shut down the AI signal controlling it.
DARIUS (impressed)
Wait — you mean LIVE was controlling it?
BROOKLYN
That’s… terrifying.
SAMMY
So what, they’re trainin’ dinos like machines now?
Bri looks down at the creature, sadness flickering in her eyes.
BRIELLE
No. They’re programming them.
BEN (worried)
That’s what they wanted you for, isn’t it?
Bri doesn’t answer — but her silence says enough.
A mechanical beep interrupts the tension. A small drone hovers into view, scanning the crash site. Its lens flickers red before locking onto them.
BROOKLYN (eyes widening)
Uh, guys? We just got spotted.
YAZ
Run—
DARIUS
Move!
They sprint back toward the cabin as the drone starts transmitting, a distorted voice crackling from its speaker:
VOICE (over drone)
“Subject Pincus located. Initiate retrieval.”
Bri’s eyes go wide.
BRIELLE (under her breath)
They found me.
[scene 3]
The door slams. Everyone stumbles in, panting. Bumpy rumbles anxiously near the window.
KENJI (gasping)
Okay, who votes we never go outside again?
SAMMY
You said that after the Compy incident, remember?
KENJI
Yeah, and I was right then too!
YAZ (peeking out the window)
The drone’s gone… for now.
BROOKLYN (sets her camera down, still shaking)
That thing literally said “initiate retrieval.” Retrieval of what?
All eyes shift to Brielle. She stands in the corner, arms crossed, expression unreadable.
BEN
Bri… what’s going on?
BRIELLE (quietly)
You weren’t supposed to get dragged into this.
DARIUS
Too late for that. Who’s “they”?
Bri exhales, running a hand through her hair. She pulls out a small data drive from her pocket — metallic, faintly glowing blue.
BRIELLE
LIVE — Laboratory of Intelligent Veterinary Engineering.
On paper, they’re a research company studying dino behavior.
In reality? They’re weaponizing it.
SAMMY (eyes wide)
Weaponizin’… dinosaurs? Ain’t that, like, the worst idea ever?
KENJI
You’d think people would stop doing that by now.
BRIELLE
They don’t just train them — they control them. Neural implants.
That raptor we saw wasn’t hunting us because it wanted to. It was following orders.
BROOKLYN (horrified)
Orders from who?
BRIELLE (hesitant)
Professor Santos. He used to teach genetic systems at Harvard.
He recruited me… said it was for conservation tech. I believed him.
BEN
You worked with them?
BRIELLE (snaps)
I didn’t know what they were doing, Ben!
They hid the truth until I cracked their encryption and found this.
(she lifts the drive)
It’s proof — plans, test data, the whole operation.
YAZ
So now they’re hunting you to get it back.
Bri nods silently.
DARIUS
If LIVE’s experimenting on dinos like that, this is bigger than Biosyn ever was.
BROOKLYN (already pulling up a holo-screen)
Then we expose them. I can upload this story everywhere. People will listen.
BRIELLE (shakes her head)
No. They’ll track the signal in seconds.
You post it, and you’re all targets too.
KENJI
Great. Another shadowy evil company.
Do we at least get cool code names this time?
YAZ (glaring)
Kenji—
SAMMY (half-smiling)
He’s just nervous. We all are.
Ben steps closer to Bri, voice softer now.
BEN
You should’ve told me.
BRIELLE (quietly)
Would you have believed me?
The question hangs heavy. No one speaks for a moment.
DARIUS (finally)
We’ll figure this out — together.
But first, we move. If that drone found us once, it’ll be back with company.
BROOKLYN (packing her camera)
I’ll wipe our location trail.
YAZ
I’ll get supplies from the shed.
SAMMY
And I’ll pack food. No one thinks straight on an empty stomach.
KENJI
I’ll… uh, look intimidating.
BEN (rolling his eyes)
Yeah, good luck with that.
Despite the fear, there’s a flicker of the old warmth again. The Camp Fam — facing a new storm.
Bri looks at them all, guilt and gratitude mixing in her eyes.
BRIELLE (softly)
You really don’t have to help me.
DARIUS (smiling slightly)
Bri, helping people who make bad decisions around dinosaurs is kind of our thing.
BROOKLYN
Welcome to the team, officially.
Bri almost smiles… almost.
Outside, lightning flashes — illuminating something lurking in the trees:
a LIVE reconnaissance drone, smaller, silent, watching.
[scene 4]
Rain patters softly through the trees. Flashlights cut through the darkness as the group moves in formation — Darius leading, Bri beside him, everyone else close behind.
Bumpy follows quietly, her massive form somehow gentler in the shadows.
KENJI (whispering)
So… quick question. Why are we sneaking through the forest at night instead of, I don’t know, daylight?
YAZ (dry)
Because LIVE’s drones probably have thermal sensors. Less chance of being spotted in the dark.
KENJI
Cool, cool, love that. Totally fine with the dark. And the jungle. And the murder robots.
SAMMY (grinning)
You sure? You’re shakin’ like a hatchling.
KENJI (mocking her accent)
I ain’t shakin’, sugar pie — it’s called “vibratin’ with survival instincts.”
BROOKLYN (snickering)
Can we not argue when there’s possibly a trained raptor within fifty feet?
Everyone goes quiet instantly.
BEN (nervously clutching a flashlight)
We haven’t seen any raptors since the valley, so maybe—
A low growl echoes.
BEN (quickly)
—never mind. Ignore me.
They stop. Darius raises a hand, scanning the dark. Bri crouches beside him, pulling out a small scanner — the same tech she stole from LIVE.
BRIELLE (quietly)
Movement… six o’clock. Too big to be a raptor.
DARIUS
Bumpy, stay alert.
Bumpy rumbles low in response.
The group creeps forward, following a faint mechanical hum. Then— light flares through the trees.
BROOKLYN (whispering)
Whoa…
They peek through the bushes. Below them, hidden in a clearing, is a LIVE field base — sleek silver tents, satellite dishes, and glowing consoles. Technicians in dark gray uniforms move around silently.
At the center, a large transport cage hums with electricity… and inside, something moves.
SAMMY (quietly)
Is that… a baby Allosaurus?
DARIUS (grim)
No. Look at the implants on its neck. They’re testing control signals.
BROOKLYN (filming)
This is insane. They’re experimenting in the open.
BRIELLE (grim)
They think no one will stop them.
BEN
Then they’ve never met us.
YAZ
What’s the plan?
DARIUS
We get closer. Find proof. Then figure out how to shut it down.
KENJI (sarcastic)
Oh sure, “shut it down.” No big deal. Just take out the evil science base in the middle of dino territory. Easy.
BROOKLYN (half-grinning)
Same old Kenji.
They move closer through the trees. The rain hides their steps — but the closer they get, the clearer it becomes how advanced LIVE’s setup really is.
Then, a voice booms over the base loudspeaker:
PROFESSOR SANTOS (V.O.)
All units, we’ve confirmed the data leak originated from Subject Pincus. The retrieval team moves at dawn.
Bri freezes.
BEN (furious)
They called you “subject”?
BRIELLE (whispering)
They see people as test variables. That’s how they think.
Suddenly, a drone light sweeps past. Everyone dives for cover.
YAZ (hissing)
We’ve been spotted!
DARIUS
Run! Split up, regroup at the ridge! Go!
Everyone scrambles — Kenji and Yaz head left, Sammy pulls Brooklyn, Ben grabs Bri’s wrist, and they bolt through the trees.
The forest erupts with flashing lights and mechanical buzzing.
A LIVE DRONE swoops low, firing tranquilizer darts. One narrowly misses Ben.
BEN (yelling)
They’re aiming to capture, not kill!
BRIELLE
Yeah, because they want their experiment back!
They leap over a fallen log as the drone slams into a tree behind them. Sparks fly.
They crash through the underbrush until the sounds fade. Everyone’s panting.
BROOKLYN (between breaths)
That was… way too close.
SAMMY
Y’all okay?
DARIUS (checking)
Everyone’s here. For now.
Bri grips her necklace tightly, guilt in her eyes.
BRIELLE (softly)
I didn’t mean to drag you all into this.
BEN (firm but gentle)
Too late. You’re my sister. That means you’re family — and that means we stick together.
The others nod, standing beside them.
DARIUS (determined)
Then tomorrow, we find a way to take LIVE down — for good.
The camera pans up — lightning flashes again, revealing Professor Santos watching from a drone feed, smiling coldly.
PROFESSOR SANTOS (V.O.)
Let them run. They’ll lead us straight to what we need.
[scene 5]
Rain still falls, but softer now. The group pushes open the creaky door of an old ranger outpost — dusty, half-collapsed, and long forgotten.
BROOKLYN (grimacing)
Smells like wet wood and moldy Triceratops dung in here.
SAMMY (fanning the air)
Oh yeah, that’s definitely Trike dung.
KENJI (dramatic sigh)
And here I was hoping for room service.
YAZ (rolling her eyes)
Be grateful we’re not in a cage right now.
DARIUS (checking the perimeter)
We’ll stay here till sunrise. Santos’s drones won’t pick up a heat signal through this much debris.
They settle in. Ben lights a small lantern, casting a warm glow across the room. Bri sits apart from the group, staring into the flickering light.
Ben watches her for a moment before quietly sitting beside her.
BEN
You okay?
BRIELLE (shrugs)
As okay as a fugitive with a dinosaur army chasing her can be.
BEN (small smile)
Fair point.
The others glance over, listening silently.
DARIUS
If you’re ready, Bri… we need to know everything. The more we understand, the better we can help.
Bri takes a shaky breath, gripping her silver clover necklace.
BRIELLE
You already know about LIVE — their experiments, their control systems.
But… quitting them wasn’t the only reason they’re after me.
Everyone goes still.
BROOKLYN (gently)
What do you mean?
BRIELLE (voice low, trembling slightly)
Professor Santos has a son. Marcus.
He was in the same exchange program as me — in Japan.
SAMMY (softly)
You… knew him?
BRIELLE (nods)
We dated for a while. He was kind, smart… or at least, I thought he was.
When I found out what LIVE was really doing, I begged him to talk to his dad — to help me stop it. I tried for months.
Her hands tighten on the necklace.
BRIELLE (continued)
Then one day… I found him cheating on me. With my best friend.
Everyone falls silent — the kind of silence that feels like a wound.
BEN (furious)
What?!
BRIELLE (barely holding it together)
Yeah. And a month after I broke up with him, he told his dad I cheated on him.
Now I’m not just a runaway. I’m the girl who “betrayed” the Santos family.
Who knows how many reasons they’ve made up to come after me.
She laughs bitterly, but her voice breaks.
BRIELLE (quietly)
Guess I was stupid to think I could change anything.
BEN (firmly, without hesitation)
You weren’t stupid. You were brave.
Bri looks up at him, startled.
BEN
You tried to do the right thing — even when it hurt. That’s what matters.
DARIUS (nodding)
Ben’s right. You stood up to people with power — and that’s never easy.
YAZ
Especially when you’re alone.
SAMMY (warmly)
Well, you ain’t alone now, sugar.
BROOKLYN (recording softly)
If they want to twist your story, we’ll tell the truth louder.
Bri’s eyes glisten — but this time, it’s gratitude, not pain.
BRIELLE
You guys…
Ben nudges her shoulder gently.
BEN (smiling)
That’s what family’s for. Even the ones you didn’t tell existed.
Everyone laughs — just enough to break the tension.
KENJI (grinning)
Group hug? Anyone? No? Okay, just checking.
The laughter fades as thunder rolls outside. Darius moves to the window, spotting red lights moving in the far distance.
DARIUS (grim)
They’re still searching. We’ll need to move again by sunrise.
BROOKLYN
Then we better rest while we can.
One by one, they settle down — exhausted but united.
Bri leans against the wall, eyes half-closed, holding her necklace.
BRIELLE (whispering to herself)
I won’t let them hurt anyone else. Not again.
The lantern flickers… and outside, a shadow passes — the silhouette of a massive dinosaur wearing a faint metallic collar that glows blue.
