Chapter 2

In the heart of Ignaria lay the city of wealth and power" The Moonlake city" it's also called "The city of elites". Its where people are judged based on their wealth, not on their emotions or manners. Its everything that Marsalis is not; lavish ,extravagant and highly luxurious.

Alex William was seated in one of the best hotel in Ignaria "Crystal Crown". It was famous for its intricate interior that drew the passer bys in with it's compelling beauty but Alex wasn't here for all that nonsense ,he was here because his father has forced or more like requested him to meet his client, a very important one. So here he was waiting for the so called client in a private lounge reserved for the sole heir of William Empire.

Alex looked down at his watch and scoffed ,his irritation flaring .The client was ten mins late. His brows furrowed in quiet irritation that if the client was a more minute late he won't care if they lost the million dollar deal and would just go his way ,he had more important things to do then sitting here and waiting for an unpunctual client. First thing he would do after going home will be telling his father to never make a deal with this client .

Just then, the elevator door tinged and stepped out a fifty year old man, an Alpha, his shoulders drew inward at the sight of Alex William. The man adjusted his clothes and pushed the glasses up a bit on his nose. The man was nervous; Alex could tell from a far. Good,as he should be;expected of who I am, Alex smugly though to himself.

The man started walking towards Alex, seated on a lavish couch with a nervous gait. From the other side, a waiter started approaching the table next to the couch, a bit too close to Alex with a tray of two glasses filled with expensive red wine . As she was about to place the tray on the table, her foot suddenly got caught in the rug and the tray in her hand tilted ,it's content dropped with a crash to the ground and with a splash the red wine fell over Alex pristine white polished shoes.

Everything went silent.

Alex froze for a sec , then looked down at his shoes , his anger bubbling up . His Pheramones usually soft coffee and sandalwood turned extremely bitter,the room didn't just smelled, it tasted of it , showing the actual power of a True blood Alpha . His grey eyes turned cold .The client hurriedly covered his nose and his eyes watered. The waiter got scared for her life , she too covered her nose but as she was close to Alex ,the intensity of the bitterness was very overwhelming , she started coughing ,tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I...I...am sorr...," the waiter stammered crying overwhelmed and trembling from the sheer intensity of the trueblood's Pheramones and power ,probably begging the king of the heirarchy to spare her life .

""Do you have any idea what you just did? I want the stains remove from my shoes within next sec or else it won't be good for anyone. Clean it with your clothes and kneel.", Alex cut her off as he commanded her ,his voice extremely calm and that was more dangerous than him lashing out. He didn't gave a damn about her teary face. Fucking pathetic, Alex though as he rolled his eyes.

The waiter with utter humiliation burning into her skin ,kneeled before Alex and started cleaning his white shoes with the expensive fabric of her uniform , her hands trembling.

"Get lost! , I don't want to see your face ever again in this building , I won't be this generous next time ", Alex shouted at the waiter still kneeling before him and glared at the fifty year old client standing at the far end corner of the lounge .

The waiter hurriedly stood up and ran off while sobbing non stop .

" And you.... consider the deal gone because you have no sense of importance of time and also you kept me waiting, a True blood ; it hurt my pride. So save me the trouble and go the way you came", Alex said with a warning laced in calm words to the alpha as he stood up from the couch , adjusted his suit and made his way towards the elevator.

"Young master.... I can explain ", the alpha stuttered at the warning in Alex's voice but still tried his luck as he picked the files hurriedly and started waking after Alex ,who was heading to the elevator.

"Save your breath. I don't need baseless explanation. The deal is terminated because a man who has no sense of punctuality can never be of any use anyway. So kindly look for another investor because my empire is in no need for your pathetic money", Alex said with a deep voice showing his irritation at being intrupted as he stopped and turned around swiftly facing the alpha.

Outside the building, a lavish Porsche was waiting for him . Alex came out of the building ,his irritation from the earlier mess visible. The driver hurriedly opened the back door for him.He stepped inside,the door closed behind him with calm precision.

Inside the car ,Alex rubbed his temple as the driver started the car .

"East",Alex muttered with a hint of tiredness in his voice .The driver understood and took the turn to the east of Ignaria as it was always like this when Alex was having troublesome days.

Ting.

He pulled out his phone, his mother has messaged him, a rare smile appeared on this face but his smile fell when he read the message.

Be home at 8:00pm , Grace's family will be here. We will have a family dinner . Son , don't be late ok. Love you ,my sweet baby .

He typed back a single okay , and threw the phone on the seat next to him . He exhaled sharply at the mention of the omega's name, Grace.

A name so pure but her intentions....., Alex though to himself as he shook his head slightly stopping himself from further thinking about the mentioned omega.

He wasn't a type of person who liked having dinner with his relatives , he liked to be alone but he can't upset his mother so he said ok but only he knows what truly lies behind in the name of simple dinner.

Grace's family were close to his family , her mother was Alex's aunt , his father's sister .Just like always this time too his aunt would have pestered his mother to arrange a dinner and invite him because she knows that he can't deny his mother's request.

It's been like this for a week now, doesn't she get tired of the constant rejection? Seriously that omega have no shame . If my and her family got to know what she did afternoon when we were alone...... I don't even want to think out it. She's really shameless, Alex thought as he absentmindely rubbed the bridge of his nose and then grimaced with disgust on his face remembering a certain event .

He then looked out of the window observing the towering buildings visible from afar as the car reached the bridge , Alex lowered the window down to take a deep breath of fresh air that somehow eased his nerves. He thought about the upcoming days , he will be soon joining his dreamed university "Lakewood Prestige ". Lost in the thoughts of future he didn't know that his paths were soon going to get collide with a ferocious alpha on a bicycle.
