Chapter 3

Kylian was pedaling with ease , Lily was clutching his waist from behind and was telling him what she did at school today. He enjoyed these little moments with his sister alot. She was very lovable. He was replying with short hmms to her enthusiastic chatter ,ensuring her that she was being listened to. He turned a corner and eneterd the street that was bustling with noises, there was so much crowd in front of every stall. It's was always like this , always noisy and crowded.

Ughhh, it's so crowded here , I hate crowds but I can t back away or else Lily will be sad , Kylian thought to himself as he pedaled a bit forward stopping in front of an ice cream stall that was surprisingly less crowded. Some omegas were there buying ice creams but they soon went away before Kylian reached there.

Kylian hated crowds because the stares that he got from all other alphas suffocated him though he himself was an Alpha too but because of his features and body people mistook him for an omega. It made him feel exposed and made a chill run down his spine at the possibility of someone knowing his secret.

"Come on, Lily let's get you an ice cream ", Kylian shook the unnecessary thoughts out of his head and took lilys's hand in his own taking careful steps towards the stall as to not bump into someone even accidentally.

They reached the stall, Lily selected herself an ice cream , the vendor started making ice cream for Lily while they waited in front of the stall.

On the other side a few miles away from the street ,Alex was peacefully sitting in the Porsche ,lost in deep thought. Just then , the car jerked , the engine coughed and gave out . Alex's train of thoughts was cut off by the sudden jerk of the Porsche. His brows furrowed in irritation.

" What happened? , Alex asked the driver with irritation visible in his voice as his Pheramones started turning a bit bitter not too much to cause suffocation just enough to show his irritation.

"Ummm I will check sir . Please wait for a few minutes." The driver said nervously as he opened the door and stepped out. He went to the front and opened the hood to check what was wrong with it.

Alex rubbed his face and cursed under his breath.

Great , this was the only thing left to happen. Today's such a shitty day, he thought and picked up his phone from the seat as it started ringing.

"Don't wait for me.", Alex said to the person on the other side of the phone and ended the call without waiting for the person's response . He kept the phone in his hand and lowered it to his thigh . His grip on the phone tightening.

The driver after some work in the hood , stepped back ,dusted his hands and lowered the hood with a smack. He hurriedly went to the door and stepped in.

"Its was a minor issue, sir . Nothing to worry about. I fixed it.", the driver explained to Alex who has his eyes fixed on him the moment he entered the car.

"I don't care,now drive before I snap", Alex said with a deadly calm as he leaned back into the seat and closed his eyes. His scent turning a bit more bitter. His scent didn't effected the driver because he was a beta .

The beta without any further wasting time started the car and went on the designated way.

The vendor made the ice cream and sprinkled Choco chips on the top , extended his hand and gave the ice cream to Lily. Kylian searched his pockets for money and luckily found some money because earlier in a hurry to pick Lily up , he had forgotten to take his wallet with him.

He handed the money over to the vendor and was ready to go when the vendor called from behind.

"Hey , young man , it's one cent short." The vendor called for Kylian while lifting one finger in the air.

"Ummm... really?okay," Kylian said as he dug his hand into his pant pockets searching for any cent left. By unfortunately found none. He stood there for some time thinking and looked down at Lily who was eating her ice cream unaware of the turmoil inside kylian's head.

What should I do now? I should have brought my wallet with me,Kylian thought to himself as he looked around running his hands through his black hair frustratingly, pheramones spiking up turning sour.His hazel eyes darted to the people on the street. Then he suddenly remembered something and hurriedly went to his bicycle . He picked Lily's bag from the handle, rummaged through it and took a small hand knitted pouchby his mother. He remembered his mother words.

I had made this for emergencies . There are some coins in it. It will be in Lilly's bag . Who knows, maybe someday you will need it .

His mother had said at that time he had laughed and told her that it wasn't necessary he won't ever need it and now look ,he was in need of it . His mother was a genius.

Love you ,mama, Kylian thought as he smiled and opened the small bag a picked up a cent from it . He put the bag in it's previous place again and made his way towards the vendor . Kylian handed the cent to the vendor happily and took lily's hand, free of ice cream taking steps towards the bicycle. Lily still hasn't finished her ice cream , a little was left . He waited for to finish and readied the bike for a ride . As she finished, he climbed the bicycle with Lily following behind and made his way towards his house .

Today was a good day , I am happy Lily got her ice cream . She's been eating my ears for days ---- Kylian's thoughts were cut when his bicycle suddenly crashed with a car . He and Lily both fell off the bicycle.

Alex had his eyes closed when suddenly the car stopped with an abrupt roar of the engine . He opened his eyes lazily not bit bothered by what had occurred.

"What is it?" He asked the driver in a lazy tone.

"Sir a bicycle seemed to have collided with our car. Should I check up on them?" Th beta said with slight concern in his voice as he saw the little girl lying on the ground ,wincing.

"No need , my mood is already sour. Just take the trun at the main road to my house." Alex said as his mood darkened and voice became a ton deep, his pheromes spiking.

The driver unable to do anything started to go but a figure suddenly appeared at the front of the simmering with anger .

Kylian had fallen off his bicycle along with his sister. He felt the rage building up , his skin turning hotter with every passing moment . He stood up abruptly and went in front of the car stopping it from going away .

" Don't you have any sense?!It's not your private area!. Who do you think you are, huh?! Can't you drive carefully ?!what if we have been severely injured then what, huh?!", kylian shouted at the driver as he wasn't able to see Alex hidden behind the massive seat. He was feeling so much anger , his Pheramones usully calm lavender and orchids has turned sour and a bit bitter because of the slight fear that if they had seriously collided, he and Lily both would have ended up in the hospital, seriously injured.

Kylain's anger spiked up , he clenched his knuckes so hard it whitenened. In his anger he kicked the hood of the car which slightly jerked the car .

Alex was still lazily lying in the car not given a damn about the ruckus. He too heard the shouts but who cares , he certainly not, not about a low life ever.

Fucking pest, what a drama queen,Alex though as he straightened and tilted his head a bit to see who it was but was unable to find anyone.

Before Alex could see who it was , Kylian had gone over to Lily to pick her up as she was wincing and sniffing while holding her knee.

"Are you okay,lily? Are there any more injuries? , Kylian worriedly asked Lily as he examined her whole body to see if there were any other injuries beside the little scrape on the knee.

"Yes I am okay but my knee is stinging alot, Kiki " , Lily said while sniffing but controlled her tears from running down her eyes.

"Aww let's get you home , baby.I scolded whoever did this to you ok. Come .",Kylian fondly said to Lily as he picked her up from her waist and both went to their bicycle ,that's when he noticed the car was no longer there.

It had drawn away the moment Alex didn't see anyone in the front, he ordered his driver to go from there as soon as possible or he will lose his job.

"Good for them to get away this fast or else who would have saved them form my temper?", Kylian muttered under his breath as he picked the bicycle up, placed Lilly at the back seat and sat in the front .

With muttering something which suspiciously sounded like "arrogant and "snobby" once again made his way towards his house with Lily tiny hands clutching his waist from behind.
