His only cure part-II

Aarav had never experienced something so ridiculous and adorable in the same moment.

His security team rushed forward.

“Sir, are you okay?! Should we call the medic—”

Aarav raised one hand.

“I’m fine.”

Everyone froze.

Fine?

He was never fine after being touched.

But Dimpal blinked innocently at him, as if unaware she just performed a medical miracle.

She smiled—small, sweet, apologetic.

“I won’t bump into you again, sir. Sorry. Really.”

Aarav stared at that smile.

He wanted to cage it.

Protect it.

Hide it from the world.

He didn’t know what she was.

An angel?

A glitch in reality?

His cure?

His doom?

But he knew one thing with frightening clarity:

He needed to know her.

Everything about her.

Name, background, address, favourite colour.

Everything.

And he needed to touch her again.

Not in secret.

Not without her knowing.

He wanted the real thing—

the moment when she willingly reached for him.

the moment when she willingly reached for him.

His obsession began right there—

in the spinny revolving door.

And Dimpal…

the girl who made his skin feel alive—

walked away unaware of the storm she just created.

Aarav whispered to himself:

“I’m going to find you.....

THE CEO WHO STARTED FOLLOWING HER

Aarav Malhotra had never followed anyone in his life.

People followed him—

feared him, respected him, avoided him.

But for the first time,

it was Aarav quietly walking behind someone like a lost, dangerous puppy.

That someone was Dimpal Chandel.

The girl who broke his curse.

His rules.

His distance.

The girl who didn’t even know who she was to him.

A Very Bad Attempt at Stalking

Aarav was terrible at following people.

He tried to hide behind a thin tree.

He tried standing behind a pole that covered 2% of his body.

At one point, a stray dog looked at him suspiciously.

Dimpal walked happily toward the bus stop, humming, unaware of the six-foot CEO tiptoeing behind her wearing sunglasses at 7 PM.

A group of boys at the bus stand whispered:

“Bro, isn’t that the CEO?”

“What is he doing here?”

“Why is he hiding behind a chai stall?”

“Is he spying on her?”

“Damn, she must be someone special…”

Aarav glared at them.

They instantly looked away.

 The First Accidental Touch (Again)

The bus arrived with a loud screech.

Dimpal, being Dimpal, jumped in surprise, slipped on her own dupatta and—

THUD.

She fell backward.

Aarav, reacting without thinking, caught her arm and pulled her into his chest.

Her cheek pressed against his shoulder.

Her breath warmed his collar.

And for a second…

Aarav forgot how to breathe....his mind got blank, a d heartbeat increased like Insane.

She looked up, wide-eyed, soft, innocent, eyelashes touching his shirt.

“W-Who— oh! Sir?!”

She stumbled back, horrified that she had touched him.

Again.

“I’m so sorry! I swear I don’t fall like this normally—actually I do—but not ALWAYS— Sir, are you okay? Did you faint? Do you need medicines?”

Aarav blinked.

“N-No. I’m fine.”

“Really? My face hit your shoulder like BAM!”

She imitated the sound effect with her hands.

He almost laughed.

Almost.
