Prologue

Friday November 15th 1899 

Time: 1:15:54 AM

As the rain poured down from the sky, hidden in a small closet, a young woman hid, covering her mouth and trying to make as little noise as possible, as she sat in terror, just like prey hiding from their predator. When she looked through the tiny crack that separated her from whatever was after her, suddenly, all she saw was red, cat-like eyes staring right into her soul through the crack, as he said with the same tone of pleasure a kid would use when they found someone in hide-and-seek.

-Found you! 

She opened the door of the closet, hitting her pursuer in the face in a desperate attempt to escape. Then runs as fast as she can through her messy apartment with flipped over furniture and her belongings scattered on the floor from when her pursuer tried to find her after she hid from them. As she ran to the exit, she wondered why no one had noticed the commotion and thought about how the nearest telephone booth was a long way away for her to be able to call for help. Her train of thought was interrupted by the exact sound of footsteps as her hunter's. She decided to make as much distance between herself and her hunter, going into a full-on sprint. Then the exit burst open as the woman runs out and hides beside the big green metal garbage can, hoping that her pursuer would miss her hiding spot to give her time to get help. When she heard the voice of one of her neighbours/best friends say concernedly.

-Sarah, are you out there! I saw you running from something, are you okay.

- Kayden\, we need to go to the telephone booth to tell the police that someone broke into my apartment and tried to attack me with a pocket knife\, replied Sarah as she was relieved that it was just him. She got up from her hiding spot\, completely soaked and full of mud. 

Suddenly, she stops in her tracks looking at the person she just talked to with an expression filled with terror and surrender. The person standing wasn't Kayden but the one person she was trying to get away from.

-Hello Sarah, nice to meet you. I'm the REAPER! Exclaimed the person in front of her. 

After a couple of minutes of silence, there was a loud scream from none other than Sarah's voice as the birds nearby flew away like they were avoiding a predator.
