Yes. It has been 2 months since that interaction.....and the last time i saw them was a brief 'goodbye' in the middle of my nap!

The Rivenos Empire and the kingdom of Sidonna have been at war for centuries. They had just come to an agreement, but the Rivenos royals deceived the Sidonnan royals.

So now the Lorelai and Ashcroft Dukedoms are the ones that face the most harm, while the ones who started the war are stuffing their bellies.

Rivenos has 4 dukedoms . The Kairos of the North, Ashcroft of the South, Everett of the East and Lorelai of the West.

The Lorelai and Ashcroft dukedoms neighbour the kingdom of Sidonna. Even though it is just a kingdom, Sidonna is one of the most powerful forces on the continent . unfortunately, Rivenos and Sidonna are enemies.they are in a constant state of war

"I hope Clara does not miss us too much?" A male voice jokingly said.

Ii hope not" A female voice filled with worry joined in.

The knights behind the two murmured something along the lines of" I cant believe it" and "Having a child changed them so much!"

Then, a particularly brave knight spoke directly to the two." Oh, my lord! Can you believe it, Our Duke and Duchess are such caring parents! And here we are left wondering where that softness went when we are training" This earned him a few weird glances from fellow knights.

The purple haired man turned to the knight with an unreadable expression."oh, really?" he said, stretching the' really '. "Who here thinks our trainings were too harsh?" At this, the silver hair lady turned around too.

"Please tell us, we can change it for you" the lady said, in a venomous tone.

The knights were hesitant, but a few hands started raising, including the foolish knight who provoked the two.1-2-5 hands started raising. In total, within the twenty knights who were present, eight of them raised their hands.

"Seventy push-ups" the duke said.

"Are you telling us that we only have to do 70 push-ups, instead of 400 !?" The knights said excitedly

"Ofcourse not. Seventy push-ups. NOW." The duchess clarified

"WHAT?!" The knights that raised their hands were taken aback. "But we just finished training!" one of them exclaimed.

"So?" they both said together. "You all have to toughen up a bit if you cannot handle the training we already gave you" the duchess said.

A collective groan from the knights who raised their hands were heard, along with the laughs of the 12 knights who didn't raise their hands as they watched their friends doing extra training.

Even with all this, it was peaceful. Peaceful as it will ever be here. In the Lorelai war base. The laughs and supportive cheers of the knights for their comrades who were getting punished, the glares of their commanders, and a light atmosphere. It was all Chloe Lorelai wishes for.

For her duchy to remain peaceful, for her people to laugh and smile without having to fear their approaching battles and possible death. and for her family, her husband and child, to be safe and smiling.

She prayed every night, and Even before every battle. She wishes that they don't have to feel her absence. And that is what drives her to move on.

'I may not be in love with you like how I should be, Pedro, but I do love you, even if it is different. I will be with you. In life and in death. With our child, Clara'

This was a promise Chloe made to herself when Clara was born. As she held her tiny, sleeping child, she felt an emotion like none before, along with an urge to keep this peace.

This peace, would not have been so out of reach, had it not been for the war.

This war has ruined Rivenos. This is one of the main reasons that the royal family lost support of the public.
