Ch 2

How could anyone come and said I want your child. Is this some kind of a joke or this Man is out of his mind.

JangHyuk look at her ," Look, you know that your madam gave birth to a child today. It's a boy , " he pointed towards a boy then continue

"but I don't want that piece of a shit for my family, for Jeon's heir. I'll pay whatever price you ask for, just give me that child to me. I never come to this pathetic place ever but look I'm here for my wife and my family, and asking you i never ask anyone i just gave order and it is done.

Hyo-Jin looking at him like a statue what is this man even saying. She can't understand anything but she's a mother how can she gave his son to anyone. So she mustered some courage eyes on the floor.

" Master he's my flesh my blood I can't gave you my son ," her words cut him like a knife now a servant a useless shit have the courage to answer him. His jaw tightened , his fist clenching at his side, he gritted his teeth and shouted

" How dare you answer me, you sewer worm. You know who you're talking to, you don't even have the status to stand in front of me and here you're answering me. Where does your money come from han ? If i order no one is going to give you a job here then what? How will you raise a child without money.

Then, just as you starve yourself, you will starve your child too. Here I'm offering you give me your child I'll give him everything. A name , A luxury life , he will study in abroad, Whatever he needed , he will get it before even he ask.

Just think about it, do you want to starve him or give him everything in this world that only I have, that only I can give him ? If you want you can take my child I don't even want that shit. I'm offering you just replace the child.

This way you will be a mother and raise a child to, and if you don't what this trash I'll kill him with my own hands now ," and hearing this the two maids look at their master.

Hyo-Jin look at him in disbelief how can a father say this to his own child . That's when a maid standing there come forward and bow his head down and said ," Master please don't kill him. I'll talk with her please Master give me a little time ,"

JangHyuk look at her ," Hurry up then, i don't have a whole damn day, your Madam will be conscious at any moment ." He was about to leave after saying but he stopped midsteps turned and said

" And I want the answer to be yes, otherwise the consequences will be very severe ," then he left from there .

Hyo-Jin who's holding her tears from starting now she's holding his son and started crying , a maid name Do-Yeon come closer to her and place the child on the bed and sit beside her.

Do-Yeon a maid

She hug her and said ," Please don't cry i know it's difficult for you but please think about it , " she broke the hug and look at her 

" How can you even say this to a mother, i know I can't afford a luxury life for my son but that doesn't mean I can sale him to anyone. Is being poor that bad ," she's crying continuously.

Do-Yeon knows a mother can't do anything like that she look at the baby again what if she can't agree with it. Master will kill that boy she hold her hand.

" I know it's difficult for you but look at that boy what his fault ? I know it's not your fault either but we don't have other option . If you said no to him he will throw you on the road to die even your son .

He is ready to kill his own child, he have no heart. He's just thinking about his reputation nothing else,"  Hyo-Jin look at his son and at the other one who just laying down on the bed .

He have no idea how cruel his father is . She ask ," what's the problem with that child," she pointed towards him. Do-Yeon look at her hand ," he's an intersex boy and Master want a heir. He said to me kill him, bury him. He didn't even think for once. He's just a abandoned child, just tell me how can i kill him what's his fault? "

She have tears in her eyes but Hyo-Jin said," Give him to me ," she immediately take the baby and give to her .

Hyo-Jin hold him and kiss on his forehead ," He's so pretty look at him. How innocent he is. He have nothing to do with all this, but why me how can i give my child to him ," she look at her. Do-Yeon knows it's a difficult decision for her .

She placed a hand on his shoulder," Please think about it i know it's difficult for you but now everything is up to you. If you say yes you will save everyone's life. Especially these two little one's and if you say no, they won't leave you or these two children.

Now she's in a place where he can either save the lives of these two children or destroy them.

On one side her own child she gave birth to him, and on the other side is the one who is her Madam's child.

She has heard her Master's words and she knows that if she doesn't say yes, he will kill the child which she's holding right now. But how could she give her child to someone else?

She doesn't want that his son should go to someone else's house, eat well, drink well, and sleep in a good place. She knows she can't feed him like they can, but for her he just want to stay with his son.

Then her eyes fell on the child and he wondered what's his fault. She didn't know what to do or what not and then they heard a knock on the door. A man came inside and said ,

" Master is calling you and he said bring his child to him now. He said he gave too much time now he want the baby," then the Man Left from there .

They both look at each other.

Three people live in a small house in a village. 2 small rooms , kitchen a small living room and a backyard.

A 3 years old boy is crying to be let go outside to play with others children but her mother is refusing him since morning. Now he's stubbornly standing with the door

" Eomma please let me go ," but her mother Hyo-Jin look at him then open her arms for his son and he run to his mother's arm. She hug him tightly,

" Tae baby you know you can't go outside when the others baby are playing. You can't play with them ," she knows what she's doing but she can't let him go and play outside.

Tae broke the hug ," but eomma they all are playing together. why not me ? I always play alone," that one word broke Hyo-Jin's heart. He held his face in her plams and kiss his forehead.

" Oh my baby you're not alone your Eomma is always with you. I'll play with you always. Now no argument okay, come Eomma will make a strawberry cake for you ,"

And mentioned of the strawberry his eyes lit up and he forget about everything that he's crying 2 minutes before to go outside.

" Eomma i want a big piece ," Hyo-Jin place a soft kiss on his cheek ," Okay then help Eomma ," he nodded and helping his mother.

3 year's later

Now Tae is 6 year's old.

He has never gone to school, he has never seen the outside world, he just stays at home with his mother all the time and helps her with the House chores.

He always stays with his mother. He loves his mother so much. His father doesn't love him at all. Whenever his father is home, he doesn't say much, he just sits quietly.

One evening when his father came home all drunk, he beat his mother. He was crying and he tried to save his mother but his father also beat him .

When they were alone in there room Hyo-Jin said to him ," whenever your Appa hits me, you will sit quietly in the room promise me ," he look at his mother

" Promise? ," he never go to school or never talk with anyone except his mother he didn't even no the words or the meaning but his mother always teach him .

She look at him ," It's your new word .A promise in which you have to listen to the other person, no matter what happen, but you can't break your promise ," he look at his mother and nodded.

Tae is 9 years old now

He's sitting in the garden behind his house. A boy who is about 13 years old came to him. ," Hey why are you sitting here alone,"

He saw him and ran towards his home in fear. He went inside and told his mother. Hyo-Jin came out with him and saw a boy standing there. He was hiding behind his mother and watching him.

The boy came a little closer and said to his mother ," Sorry Aunty i didn't mean to scare him. I was passing by and saw him sitting alone, so I went up to him but he get scared and run inside. Sorry if i bother you. "

Hyo-Jin saw him, the boy looked good. she said to him ," It's okay no problem you can go now ," then she was about to go inside, but the boy called her.

" If you don't have any problem can i play with him ," hearing that she got scared.

Hyo-Jin quickly hid his son behind him.Then she said ," No , he never plays with anyone ," The boy looked at him in surprise and said, "I never play with anyone either. If you want i can play with him inside your house ."

Hyo-Jin saw the boy and asked him ," where you came from ? What's your name ?," the boy looked at her and answer ," My name is Park Bogum and my father is head of this village Park Jin-Wook ,"

Hearing that name, Hyo-Jin eyes widened . She think ," If i let him play with Tae and his father knows the truth, maybe he punish us , And if I don't let him play or he goes and tells his father, we will still be punished ,"

She took a deep breath and said," You can play with him but in one condition ". Bogum is happy because he's going to play with someone. " Say Aunty what is it ?".

Hyo-Jin can't risk for his son's life " If you want to play with my Son. You've to promise me and you can't break that promise ". He don't understand the meaning of her words but he said " I promise " .

Hyo-Jin take a deep breath. "okay come inside but you won't tell anyone that you play here with my son. As you promised me ," bogum gave her a smile.

" I never break my promises " she look at him she think why she's believing him. Maybe he look innocent.

Hyo-Jin is cooking in the kitchen while they both were playing there. Tae is not talking with him because he never talk with anyone except his mother he's so scared. Bogum notice and ask him.

" you played alone?" He nodded

" Give me your toy " he gave

" You have no friends?" He nodded

" You don't go to school? ,"

Tae look at him and nodded as no since when bogum enter in house he's asking questions and tae is just nodded in response.

He's getting bore now he wants to play with someone. In his big house he was all alone no one plays with him .

He live with his Aunt in Seoul their her cousin who plays with him but every weekend he comes home which never feel like home . No one ever listen to him in that house just his mother cares for him , but his mother have too many things to do that she can't play with him all the time so he walked in the village for end his boredom.

But today he saw someone who is alone like him. So he thinks maybe he will play with him but now he gets bore so he stand up go towards Hyo-Jin," Aunty he's not playing with me. He's just sitting like that ," his face become sad .

Hyo-Jin look at him then walk towards his son and sit beside him ," baby what happened? he's Hyung you can play with him, like you play with me .," he look at her ," Hyung ??

She hold her hand and said ,

" it's your new word Hyung, means a big brother. A brother which is An older then you who plays with you, take care of you, protect you, and can do anything for you ," Tae point towards bogum ," He's my Hyung ," she smile and kiss on his forehead.

" Yes baby he's your Hyung ," tae look at bogum and a big smile appear on his face .

Bogum look both of them and ask , " Aunty why didn't he go to school ? ," she look at him

" I don't want him to go out and study in school, the world is so cruel. He's save here and we're happy like that ," even if she wants she can't afford school fees.

He look at her and said ," I can teach him if you want ,"

Hyo-Jin smile ," That's a big thing, don't bother yourself, you play with him that's all matter. He's happy i don't want anything else," bogum look at tae .

" Tae do you want to study? " A big smile appear on his face and he nodded " Yes Hyung" He said Hyung for the first time. Hyo-Jin and bogum look at him and smile .

" Okay then I'll bring books for you but now i'm going. I'll come next week , " he look at him ," bye take care Tae ".

Then he walked from there .

Tae's is living a normal life he's innocent and so naive for this cruel world . Hyo-Jin is protecting him but for how long.
