Ch 4

Back to Taehyung house.

He is happy today. Bogum love his handmade food and he gave him a soft pink and white bunny plushie today as a gift.

When bogum cut the cake he gave him plushie and told him.

" I'm very lucky to have you in my life Tae. You're so important for me. When i was all alone no one is there to with me play. You played, when i was sad you make me happy. I've Hyung but he never stay with me, never care for me but as a little brother you always care and love me. I'm your Hyung i promise i always care and love you and I'll stay with you and protect you Taetae ".

With that he gave him plushie. Tae is sitting in his room now and thinking about Bogum words. He's happy because he have his Hyung.

On the other side.

Bogum is standing in front of his father and brother in the big hall.

Park Jong-Kee

Age : 25

Soon to be head of the village.

Bogum is standing stubbornly there. His father is sitting on a big chair. Jong-Kee standing beside him.

When Jin-Wook said " I'm saying this for the last time you're going Seoul and never came back to this village. If you miss your mother she'll come there to meet you. " But bogum is not getting it.

He's already living there with his Aunt's family. He came here only for weekends and when he came no one will ever ask or say anything to him and now his father is saying he will live there forever. But why ?

So he always done a little things for him. Which no one knows not even his father. But his mother know that.

Like on bogum birthday he bake cake for him. But his mother said she bake.

When bogum ask anything he gave him. but her mother said she gave him.

When he feels sick or not in a good mood. he take care of him and bring things for him. But like always he thinks his mother done all these.

But today something is different he saw him with a pretty boy .and Jong-Kee want that boy.

( One hour Ago )

Jong-Kee visited village area. He visits every month but today. He saw a pretty boy he froze a natural beauty how can someone look this beautiful. But wait, what his brother doing with him and he never saw that boy before.

He asked to his guard " Who's that boy ? " Guard look at his direction " He's Kim So-ji Son ," His gaze didn't left him " But i didn't know about him "

Guard said " Some people know about him. He didn't go outside . " He look at him " and you're one of them". Guard gaze fell on the floor," Actually his father was a drug addict. Everyone knows about him here and my brother know So-Ji very well ".

He look at Tae's house  He want this boy but his brother knows that boy. How ? How did he know him. They look close bogum look happy with him. He never saw him smiles like this freely.

In his own house he always stay in his room. Never talk with anyone When they eat or sit together he didn't say much or didn't saw his smile but today he looks happy.

He think what he take that boy and bogum gets hurt because of me. No his brother didn't hate him. So what if they didn't talk like brothers. Didn't sit together or go outside for visiting. But he care of him.

So he went home after 20 minutes he needs to talk with his father.

He came home and go straight to his father's room.

Jin-Wook sits in his chair when he heard a knock " Come in " and Jong-Kee came inside " Appa sorry if i disturb you " he's reading news paper he put it aside. " Come here my son sit here " he point towards a chair.

He came and sit in front of him" What happened what brings you here?". He's nervous he shutter a little ," Appa ac.. actually... i want something " his gaze on the floor, he never look at his father's eyes.

" You never ask me for anything. What i gave you , you just accept it but today you're asking me for something. Just tell me what you want and I'll give it you " a small smile appear on his face.

" Appa i saw someone today and i like him". His father saw that smile but he didn't like it then he said ( Him ) .

His father said firmly " what did you said? HIM  " he didn't look at his father he never did , " Yes Appa i want that boy for me. " His father stand's on his place. Walk towards the window.

He take his cigar from the side table and brought it close to his nose he inhale it a bitter scent hit on his nose then he take cigar cutter and cut it and lit it up. He took first puff. " Okay. Take him, use him as long as you want. Then throw him but you can't marry him. Use him as your Mistress and be careful ".

Jong-Kee stands on his place he's happy because his father agree and what married no he's not gonna marry him. He bowed his head in respect " Thanks Appa and i want one request to you".

He hmm in response " Appa can we send Bogum to Seoul forever. I don't want him to came here on weekends as well " now his father look at him " Why so " he sigh

" Appa actually he knows that boy. I don't no how but i saw bogum with him and if he's stay here maybe he gets offended with all this " he know his father will do this easily.

He doesn't want to hurt bogum but he can't tell his father the main reason.

He came closer put hand on his shoulder " Whatever you say " Jong-Kee bowed again and went outside.

( Back to present )

In the big hall .

Jin-Wook " I don't want any argument on this. Go pack your things you're leaving tomorrow morning " and he walk towards his room.

Jong-Kee stands there he's staring at his brother. He feels bad for him but he like that boy and he want him. He walk towards him

" Bogum " he heard it for the first time his Hyung called his name. He look at him " Hyung " he put hand on his shoulder " Just go,listen to Abeoji hmm and study hard become a great doctor." Bogum is happy for hearing his brothers words.

He didn't think about anything and hug him " Okay Hyung I'll listen Abeoji. Thank you Hyung " he didn't hug him he just stand there. His brother hugged him for the first time he felt strange.

" You ask me something for the first time Hyung i promise i become a best doctor. Thank you for talking with me " seriously he's happy because i talked him and Jong-Kee hugged him back.

They stayed like there for 2 minutes and bogum move slightly. " I'll go now i want to pack my things " he hmm in response and bogum smile like crazy and left from there.

Early morning

Bogum Left early morning he's sad because he didn't meet with his Taetae for the last time but he promised to himself. " When i become a best doctor I'll come back to meet him. I will " and he left.

He didn't know what would happen after he left. If he knows he didn't left.

And after in head of the village house.

Jin-Wook himself is talking with a poor person. He doesn't even let such people near him. But today he is talking to this man for his son.

At Tae's house

In evening his mother is not at home. He's working in the houses .laundry, cleaning, cooking. She go in the afternoon and came in evening. She works only 4 or 5 hours because she can't leave tae alone for too long.

But if she didn't work in the houses. How would they eat they didn't gave much money to but they're surviving in that money.

He's sitting in his garden .

He's doing his homework which is given by Bogum. Every weekend he gave him homework so he will study the whole week but tae done his work in 1 day so he color the book or draw something.

He love to draw but coloring his favorite thing. He can sit and color whole day. Every weekend Bogum bought new color book for him.

He's sitting and doing his homework when he heard someone footsteps. He think his mother came home so he didn't bother to look at the person. when someone came and sit beside him.

He get scared and he looked up in fear and he froze. His father sitting in front of him his Appa who once said I'll kill you and calling him with names sitting right there.

He wants to run from there but he can't move he feels like someone is holding him.

" Taehyung " his Appa called his name he's happy because he always ask to his mother.

" Eomma when will Appa love taetae. When will Appa call Taetae come here sit with me . Like you said to me  "

but he's scared like hell a fear visible in his eyes .

He look at his father he think his father is feeling guilty thats why he's saying sorry to him. " Look i brought your favourite chocolate " he gave chocolate to him " Take this tae "

With trembling hands he took the chocolate " Good Boy " he know a little things about Taehyung. His favorite food because he heard them once. His favorite chocolate he saw rapper in the Dustin his wife doesn't like chocolate so it's obvious his son eats it.

He love to eat strawberry cake because his wife bake almost every weekend. His favorite person his mother and a little more. So he's taking advantage for all he knows he can manipulate him easily because he knows his son is so naive.

" You can eat this chocolate. Give me i can open it for you" but tae didn't gave him he sat there. " Tae please forgive your Appa I'll become a best father from today " tae is still silent.

" I promise you i didn't hit you ever again " he remember what his mother said about this word ( Promise ). He whispered but his father heard it " Promise " he nodded eagerly

" Yes tae i promise. I'll become a good father like your mother. Like she loves you i can also love you ". He know he can't take him like that if he want money he can do this all stupid things.

" We can go outside eat there play together " tae look at him with perplexed " Picnic " he got confused " Picnic ?  " Now tae said to him .

" Eomma said if we go outside and eat there is called picnic " He look at him. He thought such a idiot kid he is. " Yes yes we can go for a picnic ". Tae got excited he can go with his father. His father is going to love him care for him.

Like his mother and his Hyung do. " Okay when Eomma come home I'll tell him that we will go out for a picnic " he got scared no if his wife know she will kill him .

After that incident he got scared for his wife " No Tae you can't tell this to her " Tae look at him with confused face. He understood

" Actually we go there it's our picnic. I never spend time with you and I'm feeling bad for it. So give me one chance please tae. Trust me we can enjoy there. We can take your favourite thing's there okay".

( Trust ) his mother told him the meaning of this word. He can trust only his close one and his father is one of them. So he think he can trust his father.

" Appa " So-Ji taken back with this one word hit like a blade. He's a father but tae didn't call him with that name. " Appa can I wear my new dress " when he came out of his thoughts.

" Yes sure you can wear and we will go in night okay " Tae look at him he's scared of darkness. " Appa I'm scared of darkness " he look at his father " Tae you're a big boy now and we're going together don't be scared okay ". tae nodded.

" Okay I'm going now to buy your favourite things and Tae promise me you can't tell to your Eomma " Tae nodded and said " i promise Appa. " He look at him for the last time and Left. Tae's is feeling so excited because for the first he will go outside.

Hyo-Jin always tell him that we will go for picnic, but she never take him out. But today he's going outside and the main thing he's going with his father.

So-Ji need to go now what if his wife came and also he can do something with his wife if he wants to take tae with him.

At night

Hyo-Jin and tae is eating dinner. Tae is wearing his new dress.

Hyo-Jin " Baby why are you wearing this dress at dinner time. Your dress will get dirty " tae is so happy because he's going outside with his Appa so he wear his dress to early.

But he's sad because he promise with his father he didn't tell anything to his mother. " Eomma i want to wear this dress. Look Taetae is pretty " She sighed

" I know baby but you're eating messily " but tae didn't listen her and playing with chopsticks and eating messily.

Hyo-Jin look at him " you never listen to your Eomma right " he look at her with sad face " Eomma is taetae a bad boy? " she knows his heart she's so soft like fragile.

" No baby my taetae is very good boy " he kissed on his forehead. Tae smile and again continue eating. " Okay now finish this. Then we will sleep today Eomma is not feeling well " then she went into the kitchen.

Hyo-Jin is feeling too sleeping today. So today they went early to bed. Tae is waiting for his father but he didn't come. He's laying with his mother.

He thought his father didn't come and he slept.

An hour later

So-Ji came inside there room. He know today his wife didn't wake up with his voice because he gave sleeping pills to her.

He came inside and wake him up. " Tae wakeup " but he's sleeping like a lost child.

He shook him hard " Tae wake-up we will late for picnic. Come on get up " tae open his sleepy eyes and look at him.

First he got scared , but So-Ji held his hand " Hey don't sacred Appa is here come otherwise we will get late come " . Tae slowly stands up and look at his mother.

He's feeling guilty because he never broke his mother trust. He never lie to his mother but he want his father love also. He bend a little and kiss on Hyo-Jin forehead. " I'm sorry Eomma " .

His father look at them " Tae let's okay. We will late ". Something didn't feel right inside him, but he didn't give in and went out with his father.
