Tsukyama chapter 1

Yamaguchi's point of view

It was a rather cold day in Japan. I was on my way to school. When I saw Tsukki walking too. I was running up to him while calling out his name. He turned around slowly and looked at me. He stopped walking until I catched up to him.

Yamaguchi: "Hey Tsukki"

Tsukishima: "Morning Yams, are you cold?"

Yamaguchi: "Yeah but I can manage"

Tsukishima: "Take my jacket too, you're probably freezing"

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki!? Aren't you cold too?"

Tsukishima: "To be honest, no not really"

Yamaguchi: "Alright.. Well thank you"

Tsukishima: "Eh.. It's fine"

From then it went quiet. It was just awkward, normally me and Tsukki talk all morning. Maybe he's not feeling well today. Speaking of today, I wonder if Coach Ukai has any notices or anything. I wanna know if we have a practice match with another team. Tsukishima's probably tired after yesterday. All the first year's didn't go home after school time. Which means we had to stay and practice. I wonder how's Hinata and Kageyama are doing. They stayed alot more after I left.

Tsukishima: "Yamaguchi, are you okay?"

Yamaguchi: "Yeah, I'm fine, why?"

Tsukishima: "Looks like there's alot on your mind"

Yamaguchi: "Oh right.."

(Tsukishima stops walking and stands still)

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki?"

Tsukishima: "What's going on? You're acting weird"

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki, don't worry about me. I'm fine, really"

Tsukishima: "Are you sure? Are you sick?"

Yamaguchi: "I'm not sick!!"

(Tsukishima starts walking again while laughing)

Yamaguchi: "Stop teasing me or whatever you're doing!"

Tsukishima: "Alright then Yams"

Yamaguchi: "Hmpf"

(Tsukishima hugs Yamaguchi from behind)

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki--"

Tsukishima: "I'm sorry"

Yamaguchi: "I- It's okay!"

Tsukishima: "You're so kind Yams"

Yamaguchi: "It's- Thank you!"

Tsukishima: "Wanna grab lunch on saturday?"

Yamaguchi: "Lunch?"

Tsukishima: "Yeah"

Yamaguchi: "Oh course!!"

Tsukishima: "Great!"

We pulled up to the gym. Seems like everyone was already there. I quickly checked the time and we we're pretty early. Normally me and Tsukki come later. It doesn't really bother the team. Tsukki opened the gym door and let me through first. I have no idea why but it made me blush.

Yamaguchi: "Thank you"

Tsukishima: "Algood"

Sugawara: "Hey guys!"

Yamaguchi: "Hey Suga"

Tsukishima: "Where's King and his little orange"

Sugawara: "They're not here yet"

Daichi: "How long did they stay last night?"

Yamaguchi: "At least one more hour"

Daichi: "That explains it."

Sugawara: "Chill out, they're probably just tired"

Kageyama and Hinata walked through the gym door but Kageyama was giving Hinata and piggy back ride. From where I am, Hinata looks like he's asleep.

Sugawara: "Welcome"

Daichi: "Morning"

Nishinoya: "You both look dead"

Kageyama: "It's what you get when you stay in a gym training until 3am"

Sugawara: "3am?!"

Daichi: "You guy's only got 3 hours sleep!!"

Kageyama: "Sorry."

Tsukishima: "The king needs his beauty sleep"

Kageyama: "Piss off"

(Everyone laughs while Hinata wakes up)

Kageyama: "Morning Tangerine"

Hinata: Morning.."

Kageyama: "You okay now?"

Hinata: "What even happened?"

Kageyama: "We we're walking to school together and you passed out"

Hinata: "What about all my stuff?"

Kageyama: "You're stuff is there and you're bike is safe"

Hinata: "Oh, thank you Kags"

Kageyama: "Algood"

Tsukishima: "Lovebirds"

Kageyama: "Would you just piss off?"

(Everyone cracks up again)

Yamaguchi: "Hey guys, I'm actually going to class today"

Tsukishima: "Yams? I thought you wanted to play Volleyball today"

Yamaguchi: "Yeah I know.. I changed my mind.."

Tsukishima: "Do you want me to walk you to class?"

Yamaguchi: "Sure..."

I don't know why but my mood dropped. I wanted to cry but I couldn't, not infront of everyone and/or Tsukki. They don't need to waste they're time worrying about me. I'm not really important to the team. All I do is serves, nothing special. I've been thinking about leaving Karasuno Volleyball team. I'm not important to it at all. But I can't let my team down. I can't shut them out.

Tsukishima: "Yamaguchi, you coming?"

Yamaguchi: "Huh? Oh! Yeah, coming"

(After Yamaguchi and Tsukishima left)

Sugawara: "Anyone else got the feeling that Yamaguchi is acting up?"

Hinata: "Yeah.."

Asahi: "I wonder if he's okay"

Daichi: "Just let him sort himself out. If he needs us, he'll ask us"

Sugawara: "Yeah..."

(With Tsukishima and Yamaguchi)

Tsukishima: "Are you feeling alright?"

Yamaguchi: "Yeah.."

Tsukishima: "Yams."

Yamaguchi: "Fine! My mood randomly dropped when I walked in the gym"

Tsukishima: "Why?"

Yamaguchi: "I don't know"

Tsukishima: "We're going back"

Yamaguchi: "We're right near class and I don't want to"

(Tsukishima picked up Yamaguchi and carried him)

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki!! Put me down!""

Tsukishima: "Nope"

Yamaguchi: "Tsukki!!!"

Tsukishima: "I'm carrying you back to the gym whether you like it or not."

Yamaguchi: "Fine!!"

I have no clue if I'm blushing or not. I like him carrying me. I don't want it to stop. He's smiling, he's never really smiled in so long. I saw the gym a few steps away.

Tsukishima: "I'm going to put you down since I don't want the team annoying me"

Yamaguchi: "It's okay. The team is probably going to question why we are back"

Tsukishima: "Just stay behind me"

Yamaguchi: "Okay.."

(Tsukishima opens the door and the whole team stops are stares)

Asahi: "Back again?"

Sugawara: "Shut up Asahi. We're glad you're back."

Tsukishima: "Yeah whatever, Yams is here too"

Sugawara: "Algood"

Nishinoya: "Rolling... THUNDER!!"

Kageyama: "Shut up! Hinata's sleeping"

Nishinoya: "Sorry little orange and milkman"
