Reincarnated For Love | Suga X Y/N

Chapter - 01

High school was a battlefield for Y/N and Min Yoongi. They were not merely rivals; they were sworn enemies. Their hostility had crossed every limit. Fighting, bullying, open hatred, nothing was left undone. Each day felt like another war declared, another score to be settled.

They were always locked in a relentless struggle to defeat one another, forever fighting for the top position. Being second was unacceptable, especially if the other stood first. Their rivalry was never limited to marks alone; it was a matter of ego and pride. Every little thing became a competition, from the smallest achievement to the biggest victory. In everything, they had to outdo each other.

If Y/N solved a chemistry equation faster, Min Yoongi made sure to outshine her in mathematics. In every test, both pushed themselves to the extreme just to score higher than the other. If Min Yoongi won a debate, Y/N ensured she defeated him in the quiz that followed.

Their classmates had grown used to the idea that these two would always hate each other. Seeing them argue, clash, and exchange sharp glares across the classroom had become routine. Though everyone was exhausted by their intense competitiveness, result days still brought excitement. People waited eagerly to see who would top the class, especially since their scores almost always turned out to be identical.

Even the teachers and the principal were tired of them. Eventually, the administration stopped putting their results on the notice board. From then on, their scores were announced directly in the classroom, sparing the school yet another dramatic showdown.

During their half-yearly examination, the classroom was wrapped in tense silence.

Most students were bent over their answer sheets. Some wrote thoughtfully, pausing after every few lines, while others simply waited for time to pass, counting the minutes until the bell rang. But an entirely different battlefield had formed at the corner seats of the last row, where two students were writing as if their lives depended on it.

Y/N and Min Yoongi. As usual.

The hostility between them spilled straight onto the paper. It was as if the answer sheets themselves were being punished. Just like always, they shared one unspoken mission. To finish the paper before the other. It was a bet. Whoever completed the exam first would pay for the other’s food in the canteen. Money was never the issue. Both belonged to wealthy families. Winning was. And for that, they could go to any extent.

Y/N’s blue gel pen moved rapidly across the paper, her hand steady and relentless. On the other side, Min Yoongi dragged his blue ink pen with equal aggression, as if he were running a race against time itself. Every few minutes, their eyes flicked toward each other, sharp and challenging, as if daring the other to slow down.

I will win this bet.

The invigilator, Mrs. Park, scanned the exam hall with her hawk, like gaze, alert for any signs of cheating. She found none. What she failed to notice was the silent war unfolding between those two students. A battle not of answers, but of speed.

An hour later, Y/N and Min Yoongi wrote their final lines at the exact same moment. At the same time, they slammed their pens onto the desk, rose to their feet, and shouted in unison.

“COMPLETED!”

For a second, the entire class fell into stunned silence, which was immediately shattered by loud laughter. Heads turned in their direction, and students burst out laughing at the perfectly timed drama. Even Mrs. Park looked mildly amused before her expression hardened as she shot both of them with a warning glare.

“How long are you two going to keep this competition alive?” Mrs. Park asked, her voice sharp but tired. “You have barely six months left before twelfth grade ends. Stop fighting like children.”

Y/N responded with a smug smile, completely unapologetic.

“I’m sorry, ma’am,” she said calmly. “But that’s never going to happen. And as long as he is here, I will never let him win.”

Min Yoongi scoffed, nodding in agreement. “She’s right. Competing is far more fun than studying normally. And when the person in front of you is such a tough competitor, letting them win is never an option.”

Mrs. Park shook her head in disbelief, clearly done with them.

“There is no cure for the two of you,” she muttered. “Now hand over your papers.”

One by one, they stepped forward, rivalry still burning in their eyes, even as the exam finally came to an end.

They looked at each other for a moment, then exchanged confident smiles before handing in their papers and walking out of the classroom side by side.

Min Yoongi broke the silence first. “The match may have ended in a tie today, but this time the results will not.”

Y/N raised an eyebrow, amused. “Already planning your defeat? Why? Couldn’t answer a few questions?”

Min Yoongi scoffed. “Me? Lose?” He let out a mocking chuckle. “You will be the one losing. Mark my words. This time, the highest score will be mine.”

Y/N waved him off dismissively. “Yeah, yeah. We will see. Don’t get ahead of yourself.”

“You will see,” Min Yoongi said confidently. “I will prove it to you. Lizard.”

Y/N gasped, instantly furious. “Watch your mouth, idiot. Say one more word and I will break your jaws.”

Min Yoongi smirked. “Oh really? Big talk.”

Before she could react, he reached out, pulled her hair tie, and sprinted down the corridor. Her hair fell loose, messy and wild, as he disappeared around the corner, laughing.

“Min Yoongi, you little menace,” Y/N shouted after him. “I will not spare you.”

She stomped her foot against the floor in pure frustration, her anger echoing through the hallway while his laughter faded into the distance.
