CHAPTER 5

A New Morning, A New World

Li Mansion — Lu Rang’s First Morning

Soft sunlight slipped through the tall windows of the guest room.

Lu Rang woke slowly.

For a moment he didn’t recognize the ceiling.

Then—

memory returned.

He sat up suddenly.

“I’m… at uncle’s house…”

A warmth spread through his chest.

Not a guest.

Family.

He got ready carefully, changed his clothes twice, fixed his hair three times, and then stood in front of the mirror.

“Calm down… it’s just breakfast…”

But his heart knew the truth.

Chen gege will be there.

Breakfast Table — The Li Family Routine

When Lu Rang walked into the dining hall—

everyone was already there.

Li Xiao Xin waved dramatically.

“GOOD MORNING MY SHY ARTIST!”

Lu Rang smiled softly and sat beside him.

Song Yuxin placed breakfast in front of him with the same gentle care he used for his own sons.

“Did you sleep well?”

“Yes… paa…”

The word came out naturally.

And everyone noticed.

Yi Chen looked up for a second — his gaze softer than usual.

Li Tingxiao folded his newspaper.

“Xiao Xin. University.”

“Yi Chen. Office.”

“Yuxin. Gallery.”

Then he looked at Lu Rang.

“You’re going with Xiao Xin.”

Lu Rang nodded obediently.

Xiao Xin leaned close and whispered loudly:

“Don’t worry. I’m the most popular person in university. I’ll protect you.”

Yi Chen calmly added while drinking coffee—

“He’s also the noisiest.”

The table laughed.The Departure

At the entrance—

Tingxiao and Yi Chen left together, their identical powerful auras making the staff stand straighter.

Father — the CEO.

Son — the future CEO.

Two generations.

One legacy.

Yuxin left next, smiling and reminding Xiao Xin to eat properly.

Then—

university squad.

University — The World of Li Xiao Xin

The moment Xiao Xin entered campus—

people lit up.

“XIAO XIN!!”

“Bro!!”

“Topper is here!”

Girls waved.

Alphas called him for basketball.

Professors greeted him warmly.

He walked like sunlight.

Lu Rang followed beside him quietly, holding his bag, watching in awe.

“This is your daily life…?” he asked softly.

Xiao Xin grinned.

“I told you. I’m famous.”

Then he suddenly pulled Lu Rang forward.

“This is my best friend and brother — Zhou Lu Rang. Art department. Remember his face.”

The friendliness was so natural that people immediately welcomed him.

“Hi Lu Rang!”

“Join us for lunch!”

Lu Rang bowed slightly, flustered.

His introverted heart was not ready for this much attention. In business class—

Xiao Xin became a completely different person.

Focused. Sharp. Intelligent.

He answered every question perfectly.

Even the professor nodded in approval.

“Just like your father,” someone whispered.

Lu Rang watched from the side — admiration in his eyes.

“My brother is amazing…”

Art Department Corridor

Later they walked toward the art block.

The atmosphere changed.

Quieter.

Creative.

Walls filled with paintings.

“This is your world,” Xiao Xin said.

Lu Rang smiled.

“Yes…”

For the first time—

he looked confident. They entered a shared elective class.

Students were chatting casually.

Xiao Xin was surrounded instantly.

Lu Rang sat beside him, sketchbook in hand.

Then—

the teacher walked in.

“Class, we have a new transfer student joining mid-semester.”

Murmurs spread.

“Transfer?”

“In this semester?”

“Who?”

The teacher looked toward the door.

“Come in.”The door opened.

Silence.

He walked in.

Tall. Slim. Perfect posture.

Cold.

Not loud cold —

dangerously quiet cold.

His eyes were sharp and distant.

His presence alone made the air heavy.

Even the noisy class stopped talking.

A powerful omega scent — controlled, refined — passed through the room.

“Introduce yourself,” the teacher said.

His voice was calm.

“Sang Yan.”

Just two words.

But they echoed.Girls stared.

Alphas narrowed their eyes.

Whispers everywhere.

“So handsome…”

“Why does he feel so… untouchable?”

“Transfer from where?”

Xiao Xin leaned toward Lu Rang.

“OH HO. Ice prince.”

But—

Lu Rang wasn’t looking at Sang Yan.

he remembered yi chen.

Because for the first time—

someone had entered a room

with an aura

that reminded him

of Chen gege.

Sang Yan’s gaze moved across the class once.

Detached.

Uninterested.

Then—

it paused.

On Li Xiao Xin.

Just for a second.

As if recognizing something equal.

Then he looked away and took his seat.

The temperature of the room never returned to normal.Three different paths had just crossed in one classroom:

☀️ The Sun — Li Xiao Xin

🌸 The Soft Heart — Zhou Lu Rang

❄️ The Cold Moon — Sang Yan

And none of them knew—

this was the beginning of a story that would change all their lives.
