The Li villa was bustling in a way that only this family could manage.

Li Xiao Xin, 21, grinning and fully awake after his university morning class, caught the toast mid-air and smirked. “You’ll need more than toast, big brother, to beat me.”

Chen Chen dramatically gasped. “Challenge accepted, little brother!”

The villa erupted in laughter and shouts, a perfect mess of breakfast chaos. Tingxiao shook his head and sighed, though the corner of his mouth twitched in amusement. These were his sons—his life, his pride.Later in the morning, Chen Chen leaves for the Li Cosmetic Industries office, where whispers follow him through the hallways: “That’s the devil MD. Like his father, but… sharper.”

He enters his office, straightening his tie, and his staff braces themselves. “Report first. Mistakes are expensive. Excuses are irrelevant.”

From the CEO’s corner, Tingxiao watches silently. His son is everything he knew he would be—sharp, cold, calculated—but a mirror of his own strengths and weaknesses, only with the potential to surpass him.Evening came, and the villa was quiet. Chen Chen returned, briefcase in hand, his tie slightly loosened.

Li Xiao Xin, 21, had just returned from university, backpack slung over one shoulder. “So… did you scare anyone today, Yi Chen?”

Chen Chen smirked, pouring himself a cup of water. “Survival is for the strong. That office is now efficient… and terrified.”

Xiao Xin laughed, clapping his brother on the shoulder. “Just like Dad taught you.”

Tingxiao and Yuxin exchanged glances. Their home was chaotic, funny, loving—and now also included a son who was every bit as sharp, ruthless, and protective as his father.

Chen Chen caught sight of the family photo on the wall: himself, his parents, his younger brother Xiao Xin, and the memory of the chaos that had brought them all together. He grinned. “I’m proud to be part of this… messed-up, amazing family.”

Xiao Xin nudged him. “Stop being sappy. Go eat dinner before Dad yells at you for being late.”

Yuxin chuckled, placing a hand on Chen Chen’s shoulder. “You may be a devil at work, Yi Chen… but at home, you’re still my sweet boy.”

Chen Chen rolled his eyes, but the smile on his face betrayed him.

The Family Lineup

Song Yuxin, the omega co-owner of the art gallery, gentle and caring, wise and warm. Soft-spoken but unafraid to stand his ground when needed.

Li Yi Chen (Chen Chen), 26, the first son, MD at Li Cosmetic Industries, soon-to-be CEO. Cold, strategic, obsessive in business, but utterly devoted and playful at home. Protective of his younger brother, adopted Chen Chen by Tingxiao and Yuxin’s love.

Li Xiao Xin, 21, the younger son, alpha, university top student. Cheerful, funny, teasing, and clever. Loves to push his brothers’ buttons and secretly adores both his father and his big brother.
