Actually when Elian said " We're... boyfriends" I just read it and continued reading further because to me they were already behaving like boyfriends and I was so sure that they will be boyfriends that I just thought that they were lovers already but when... when Alaric pressed those words again, "We're... boyfriends", the sudden realisation stucked me so hard like I was completely surprised. My eyes went wide and I had this biggest grin on my face. I was like " Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god!!! He said it! He finally said it!!! 💕🤭💕 Alaric looked so vulnerable at that moment. So, small and lovely while knowing he had his world to himself finally, that his world finally knows and acknowledged his existence too. Obviously all this while Elian loved him, cared for him, protected him and Alaric meant so much to him but all this aside there are a few things and boundaries that can't be crossed, right. And now being Boyfriends with Elian gave permission to Alaric to cross those boundaries, to end his yearnings and love him more freely and openly. To hold him, hug him, kiss him, devour him...
