Dominic's heart skipped a beat as he stared at the blood-soaked ground. Suddenly, two wolves emerged from the shadows, their eyes fixed on him. One of them let out a low growl, baring its teeth.
Dominic froze, unsure what to do. The wolves took a step closer, their eyes seeming to gleam in the fading light...
And then, something strange happened. Dominic felt a weird sensation in his mouth, like his teeth were shifting. He felt a hunger, a craving for... blood.
The wolves seemed to sense it too, and they backed away, whipping their heads around nervously.
Dominic took a step forward, feeling a strange power coursing through his veins...
Dominic fought the wolves with a ferocity he didn't know he possessed. He tore into one, feeling its life drain away in his jaws. The other wolf transformed back into a human – a man with wild eyes and fangs bared. He snarled, about to pounce on Dominic...

But before he could, a blur of black snapped Dominic's neck, sending him flying. He hit the ground hard, his vision blurring.
When he came to, he was in an abandoned house, surrounded by eerie shadows. A vampire with piercing green eyes stood over him, his expression cold.
"Who are you?" the vampire growled. "What are you?"
Dominic tried to speak, but his voice was hoarse. The vampire, Felix, sneered and turned to the others – Andrew and Ethan, he called them.
"Get him to talk," Felix said, his eyes glivin.
Andrew and Ethan moved in, their faces twisted with curiosity and menace...
Ethan, a vampire with a scar above his eyebrow, leaned in closer to Dominic. "So, you can walk in sunlight without a moonlight ring? How's that possible?"
Dominic hesitated, trying to piece together the fragments of his memory. "I... I was in an accident. My parents died. I was in the hospital, and... something happened. I don't know how, but I turned."
Felix raised an eyebrow. "Turned? You mean you were turned? By who?"
Dominic shook his head. "I don't know. But the first time I... transformed... was just now, when I killed that wolf. I felt it. The hunger, the power... it was like something took over."
Andrew and Ethan exchanged skeptical glances. Felix's expression remained cold. "You're telling us you've never fed on human blood before?"
Dominic swallowed. "No... I don't think so. I don't know what's happening to me."
Ethan snorted. "Sounds like a rookie excuse."
Felix's eyes narrowed. "We'll see about that. Ethan, take him to the cell. We'll get the truth out of him... one way or another."
After days of interrogation and investigation, the vampires finally pieced together Dominic's story. They believed him – he was a new vampire, turned by an unknown source. Since he wasn't a threat, they decided to let him go.
On the second day, Dominic walked out of the abandoned house, blinking in the sunlight. He was free, but confused.
Unbeknownst to Dominic, Jack, the leader of the vampires, watched from the shadows. His eyes narrowed as he sensed something off about the young vampire.
"Andrew, get me everything on Dominic," Jack ordered. "I don't trust this. Something's coming..."
Andrew nodded and slipped away, leaving Jack to ponder the implications of a rogue vampire on the loose.
