The Secret Meeting

Two days passed after Taehyung’s warning about the mysterious organization.

Inside the mafia mansion, security had quietly tightened. Guards were doubled, surveillance systems were checked repeatedly, and every suspicious movement within their territories was monitored closely.

Namjoon had ordered everyone to stay alert.

But despite the precautions, the atmosphere inside the mansion remained mostly normal.

At least on the surface.

Kim Taehyung stood near the large glass window of his room, staring down at the city lights below. In his hand was a small phone that almost no one in the mansion knew about.

It wasn’t connected to the mafia network.

It wasn’t traceable.

It was something Taehyung only used when absolutely necessary.

The screen lit up with a single message.

“We need to talk.”

Taehyung’s eyes darkened slightly as he read the message.

For a moment, he didn’t move.

Then he quietly typed a reply.

“Location?”

The response came immediately.

“Old Riverside Warehouse. Midnight.”

Taehyung slowly locked the phone and slipped it into his pocket.

His expression had turned serious.

Somewhere deep inside, he already knew this meeting could be dangerous.

But if his suspicions about the mysterious organization were correct, then he needed answers.

And this might be his only chance to get them.

Later that night, the mansion had fallen silent.

Most of the members had gone to their rooms after finishing their work.

The hallways were quiet except for the distant footsteps of security guards.

Taehyung walked calmly through the corridor, his face relaxed as if he were simply heading out for fresh air.

But just as he reached the entrance hall, a voice stopped him.

“Taehyung?”

He turned around.

Park Jimin was standing at the bottom of the staircase, looking slightly curious.

“Where are you going this late?” Jimin asked.

Taehyung smiled casually.

“Just going for a short drive. I need some air.”

Jimin narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

“At midnight?”

Taehyung chuckled softly.

“You worry too much.”

Jimin sighed but didn’t stop him.

“Fine. Just don’t disappear for hours.”

“I won’t,” Taehyung promised.

A few minutes later, Taehyung’s car quietly left the mansion gates.

The city streets were mostly empty as he drove toward the river district.

The further he went, the darker and more deserted the surroundings became.

Finally, the old warehouse appeared in the distance.

The building looked abandoned.

Broken windows.

Rusty metal doors.

Flickering streetlights.

Taehyung parked his car and stepped out slowly.

Cold wind brushed against his face as he walked toward the entrance.

The large metal door creaked when he pushed it open.

Inside, the warehouse was dimly lit by a single hanging light.

And someone was already waiting.

A tall man stood near the center of the room, his face partially hidden in shadows.

“You came,” the stranger said.

Taehyung crossed his arms calmly.

“You said you had information.”

The man chuckled softly.

“Straight to business. I like that.”

Taehyung’s gaze remained steady.

“Start talking.”

The man slowly stepped closer.

“You’re investigating our organization, aren’t you?”

Taehyung didn’t react, but his silence was enough.

The man smiled.

“Don’t worry. I’m not your enemy.”

Taehyung’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“Then why contact me secretly?”

The man leaned closer and lowered his voice.

“Because your empire is being targeted.”

Taehyung’s heart skipped for a second.

“I already know that,” he replied.

The stranger shook his head.

“No. You only know the surface.”

Then the man said something that made Taehyung freeze.

“There’s someone inside your organization working with us.”

For the first time that night, Taehyung’s calm expression cracked slightly.

“A traitor?” he asked quietly.

The man smiled again.

“Yes.”

“And if you don’t find them soon…”

His voice became colder.

“Your precious mafia kings will fall.”

The warehouse fell silent.

Taehyung’s mind raced.

If this was true, everything was more dangerous than he had imagined.

But what he didn’t realize…

Was that outside the warehouse, hidden on a rooftop across the street, a sniper rifle was slowly being aimed at the entrance.

And somewhere far away, the mysterious enemy leader watched the live feed with a satisfied smile.

“Perfect,” he murmured.

“The trap has finally begun.”

To be continued...
