Chapter 4: THE INCIDENTAL MEETING

Hi everyone! This is the continuation of the 3rd chapter "THE SWEETS", I hope you can enjoy my novel and I was slightly expecting your supports! Enjoy!

In the day after, I woke up early and checked the pouches of diamonds and golds that I've been kept under my bed. I stretched and wear a beautiful dress that suits for a sunny day, and I quickly went to the forest where I buried the pouch, but I saw the squirrel took the pouch that I buried deeply to the ground and run away. I quickly chase after it, but it quickly climbs up to the tree. Something quickly came up to my mind, I took one piece of acorn that was on the ground, I make it a bait to the squirrel, and it quickly drop the pouch and take the acorn from my hand. I quickly caught the pouch and I jump in happiness and nervous, in too much overjoyed, I didn't realized that I came too far from my mansion, but I saw from afar the luxurious place that I've never seen.

I slowly walk closely and amaze by the designs of the walls and posts, but I was more mesmerized when I saw a beautiful fountain that was surrounded by golden statues. I approach the fountain and I wash my hands there, but it was too high for me, so I have to stand in tiptoe that causes me to almost fall and saw my reflection longer than necessary from the water in it. I saw my resemblance from Mother— long and purplish hair, fair and porcelain skin, and attractive appearance, but I also resembled my Father— beautiful and purple-blue eyes, and reddish lips. I did not expect that I resembled both of my parents from their appearance, but I inherit from my Father that makes me scared was his eyes.

I wonder around the fountain while staring the statues that was covered in gold and designed with diamonds. Something came up with my mind (Again!), I approach one of the statue and bite the part of it, my teeth hurts, si I confirmed that the golden statue was real. Later on while I keep checking the statue using my bite method, I heard a footsteps behind me.

"Why does an outsider came inside without my permission and approval?" said in a cold tone.

I turn around to see who is it, when I saw it, I was suddenly scared. Same of the person who looked at me like that in my dreams. I took a step back slowly. Tall, fair skin, handsome, masculine, grayish hair, and the most of all was a beautiful eyes with a purple-blue color.

"Oh Lady Nephyllia, you are here. I never thought I would see you here." the man's comrade greet me happily

"Hi, Felix! How are you?" I greeted him with a joy and nervous expression.

The man with a cold personality approached me, I thought I was in a cold place.

"You're familiar to me... You resembled her..." he said with a deep voice.

I slowly took a step back because of fear when I saw his hand extending towards me slowly like he was going to crushed me into pieces. I don't have any way to escape from him because I was trapped when the cement of the fountain pressed against my back and he suddenly cup my cheeks and play with it.

"Why your face looks so round?" he said curiously.

I suddenly felt some anger because of what he said and nervous when he stand up. I feel like I'm being eaten alive by this man.

"Felix, prepared some food cause I know that she's hungry of her long journey to come here" he ordered without looking away and directly stare to my eyes.

I suddenly felt panic and nervous, maybe he would punish because he saw me biting the one of the statues. I followed him through his way to his luxurious and huge mansion, and went to the room where the living room was. We sat down while waiting the food that would be served by Felix, it was a long silence that surrounded us.

Later on, Felix came in with sweets in him and he put it on the tea table in front of us. My eyes widen in hunger and its appeal, but I remembered the man who ordered me to be killed just for the girl he knew his daughter was in front of me.

"Don't be shy, you may take a bite or eat it" he said with slight smirk on his reddish lips.

Felix put a slice of cake in my plate and I take a bite in it, I closed my eyes in the taste of it— it's very sweet, I've never been tastes something like this before in my entire life.

"Do you know the meaning of the name “Nephyllia”?" he suddenly asked.

I didn't answered yet and I don't have a plan to answer it cause I was afraid to his presence.

"The meaning of the name “Nephyllia” were beauty, peace and calm. Beauty that it can't be touched and has a magic. Peace and calm was like the clouds in the sky. It was came from a Goddess of Greece named Nephele. Nephele was made from a cloud and she became the Goddess of Clouds. The name was been given to you was beautiful, just like you." he explained and said with a slight smile on his face.

I suddenly felt a chills running down through my spine and fear, so I don't have a strength to move and to take a bite if my cake.
