CHAPTER 3: “Preparation”

Silence filled the room.

Arnav sat on the edge of his bed, staring at his hand.

That faint glow from yesterday…

It wasn’t his imagination.

Kunal stood near the window, thinking deeply.

“This is not normal,” he said.

Arnav replied quietly,

“That place… changed something inside us.”

Kunal turned toward him,

“Yeah. And next time we go there… we can’t act blindly.”

Arnav nodded.

This time… no emotions.

Only focus.

“We train,” Arnav said.

Kunal smiled slightly,

“Finally. A smart decision.”

⚡ DAY 1

They went to an empty ground outside the city.

No people.

No noise.

“Okay,” Kunal said,

“Try to focus on that feeling you had yesterday.”

Arnav closed his eyes.

He remembered—

The light.

The anger.

Tamanna.

Suddenly—

A faint glow appeared around his hand.

Kunal stepped back slightly,

“Good… don’t lose it.”

But the next second—

It disappeared.

Arnav opened his eyes, frustrated.

“I can’t control it.”

Kunal shook his head,

“Don’t force it. Understand it.”

Arnav looked at him,

“Explain.”

Kunal pointed at him,

“Your power reacts to emotion. Especially anger… and pain.”

Arnav went silent.

Kunal continued,

“If you don’t control your emotions… you can’t control your power.”

Arnav clenched his fist.

“Then I’ll control both.”

⚡ DAY 3

Things were getting better.

Slowly.

Arnav could now make the glow appear for a few seconds.

Kunal was observing everything carefully.

Patterns. Timing. Reactions.

“You notice something?” Kunal said.

Arnav looked at him,

“What?”

“It activates faster when you think about her.”

Silence.

Arnav didn’t reply.

But he understood.

Tamanna…

was connected to his strength.

⚡ KUNAL’S SIDE

Kunal hadn’t shown much yet.

But something was different with him too.

He didn’t have visible power like Arnav.

But—

His senses were sharper.

His thinking faster.

One evening—

A stone was thrown toward him suddenly.

Before it even reached—

Kunal moved.

Perfect timing.

Perfect reaction.

He caught it easily.

Arnav noticed.

“You predicted it,” Arnav said.

Kunal smirked slightly,

“Not predicted… calculated.”

Arnav stared at him.

Kunal’s voice became serious—

“My brain… is working faster than before.”

Pause.

“I can read movements… patterns… even reactions before they happen.”

Arnav nodded.

“Then you’re our strategist.”

Kunal smiled,

“And you’re the fighter.”

⚡ DAY 6

Training became harder.

More intense.

Arnav stood in the middle of the ground.

“Again,” Kunal said.

Arnav focused.

This time—

The glow appeared faster.

Stronger.

It spread slightly across his arm.

Kunal’s eyes widened,

“Good… don’t stop!”

Arnav pushed harder—

Suddenly—

A small energy burst came out.

It hit the ground.

Dust flew everywhere.

Silence.

Both stared at it.

Arnav breathed heavily.

Kunal smiled slowly,

“Now… we’re getting somewhere.”

🌑 NIGHT

They sat quietly.

No jokes this time.

Just thinking.

Kunal broke the silence,

“That place… it wasn’t heaven.”

Arnav nodded,

“It was a trap.”

Kunal continued,

“And that thing… it noticed us.”

Arnav looked at him,

“Next time… we won’t just go to meet Tamanna.”

Pause.

“We go to understand everything.”

Kunal nodded.

“Step by step.”

“First—control powers.”

“Second—understand that place.”

“Third—bring her back.”

Arnav looked at the sky.

“I promised her.”

His voice was calm.

But strong.

“I’m not breaking it again.”

Kunal stood up.

“Then we don’t fail.”

🌌 FINAL SCENE

Far away…

In that unknown place…

Tamanna stood alone.

The light around her was weaker now.

She looked down.

Whispering softly—

“Come back…”

Her voice trembled—

“…but please… don’t get hurt…”

Behind her…

That dark presence slowly moved.

Watching.

Waiting.
