The first day of the new semester always felt chaotic. Students hustled across the campus, trying not to be late, their backpacks bouncing against their shoulders. Taehyung, however, was completely unfazed.

“Relax, Jungkook,” he said, spinning around with his camera hanging from his neck. “You’re taking this way too seriously.”

Jungkook adjusted his backpack straps, shooting V a look that could freeze a glacier. “I don’t want to be late, Taehyung. Unlike some people, I actually care about showing up on time.”

V laughed, a sound that turned a few heads in their direction. “Careful, golden boy. You might just melt under my charm.”

Jungkook rolled his eyes but secretly smiled. He didn’t admit it, but he liked having V around. Even if V was a little unpredictable, he somehow made the campus feel less… boring.

As they walked toward the lecture hall, V paused to snap pictures of a tree lined with cherry blossoms. “This lighting is perfect! You have to take a picture too, Jungkook.”

“I’m not taking pictures,” Jungkook muttered. “I’m going to class.”

V grinned, leaning closer. “Yeah, yeah… but don’t forget, life isn’t just about classes and tests. Sometimes you’ve got to stop and capture the moment.”

Jungkook sighed, but he didn’t protest further. There was something about V’s energy that was impossible to ignore.

As the lecture hall came into view, Jungkook noticed the students filing in, some greeting each other loudly, others scurrying to grab seats. And in the chaos, V’s laughter rang out again, bright and infectious.

For the first time this semester, Jungkook thought maybe college wouldn’t be so bad… especially with V around.
