PHOEBE POV

 I gently take my seat avoiding wrenley gaze, checking my timetable I noticed I am not having the next subject and excused myself, moving aimlessly I peek at my map and visited the library; a vast air-conditioned repository of rare books, manuscript, and digital archives Then I saw wrenley approaching me, “Phoebe!” I heard her call

“ oh, here comes wrenley”

“I’m so gonna freak out, Phoebe, why did you left to school without me” she said

“as what, wrenley”

“ I’m your sister, why do you treat me this way. I missed the school bus all because of you” wrenley fired

“did I ask you to? Do I look like I care if you missed the school bus. You want to blame me now, so then what happened to taxi” I argued

 “ you know mum solely warned us never to use a taxi after the last incidence”

“ so what I should apologize to you after this pathetic brief” I said.

“ I don’t need your apology, phoebe, I just need you to come around and stop being heartless, am your sister for crying out loud. And to even think you denied me in class” wrenley said, her voice low and even.

“ we’re in a new environment, wrenley, a classic one at that. I don’t need you messing things for me”

 “ and by doing so is when I’m your sister, can you here yourself”

“ I don’t care what you think, in this school we’re just classmate. Nothing more and nothing less” I said and left

THIRD PERSON POV

 In the classroom; a group of student walked to wrenley and also phoebe.

“ welcome to school girl. Let me give you a tour, verbally. So, in this school we have sports complex like football field, we have cafeteria and dining hall And also there’s arts and culture center which are the music rooms, drama studio bla bla bla. Lastly, we have clubs like debate, robotics, model Un, and exclusive social clubs” they all blabbed “ well….. I’ll love to join in the modelling club” wrenley said

“that’s fine, our club day is on Thursday” one of them reply

“ my name is Dahila, nice to meet you” a girl smiled at phoebe as she nods slowly

 “ ehm where are the boys, I noticed no male here” wrenley asked curiously

 “ you have a whole lot of curiosity girl, the boys are out. They do have this gathering every first day of resumption. But I assure you starting from tomorrow you’re gonna lay your eyes on them; the hottest, the cutest and even the ladies’ guy”

“ okay, if you say so”

 School was going quite fun for wrenley but phoebe on the other hand was being too quiet, uptight and sincere. It was closing hour, wrenley rushes to the bus park and took her seat. Then students followed suit till the bus was filled up.

Wrenley couldn’t spot phoebe. she quickly checked phoebe bus seat no. and it was taken by a staff. Then the driver announced movement. She couldn’t let go of the thought that phoebe wasn’t present in the bus. She quietly highlighted from the bus and rushed to the classroom. But it was empty, then she searched everywhere and then she was left alone, weak and tired from the thorough search. It was already five and the security sent her out. She sighed bitterly.

 “ hope you’re alright phoebe” Then another thought came into her head What if phoebe left like in the morning? But she quickly shake that thought off. She began to walk home as her stomach cried countlessly. She came to a halt as she rested her muscle. She was almost drifted to sleep by the comfort of the space when a motorbike came flashing it front lights into her eyes as she jolted up. “get in” the biker said

“thanks I don’t need your help”

“ I insists, it’s getting late and it’s not good to be out here. As you can see, the street is scarce of people”

“ do I know you, cause you sound quite familiar” wrenley said and he removed his helmet .

“ ooh! You”

“ so are you hoping in or I should zoom off” he asked

“ fine!” wrenley gave in as she hop on the motorbike putting on a helmet.

“ so what’s your street”

“ apartment 3B, 145 oakwood heights.” Few minutes later, wrenley arrived home.
